Chapter:-15 Betrayal (Part-1)

Roland stopped ,time seemed to have slowed down a little. He turned around his head and looked at Nightingale from the corner of his eyes.

"Witches also are a part of the kingdom, they too are humans ,they to have family ,they to loved ones ,they too deserve to live their life ,they too can be happy ,they too are ruled by the king and most importantly they too are my subjects."

"Just because church declares your kind as demons doesn't mean you are one, they are fake worshipers ,they are trying to control the kingdom while capturing witches to serve their interest also to suppress any revolts."

"If I will become a king who is nothing but a puppet of church, it is better I don't become one. Church will pay for all of their sins." Leaving the words resounding in Nightingale's ears ,Roland left for Kattara's room.

Nightingale quickly entered [The mist] and followed behind ,Roland. While walking ,she observed that Roland feet never made a sound, the floor was pretty old and would creak on the slightest movement but upon bearing the weight of Roland it didn't even creaked once.

This discover greatly bewildered Nightingale as Roland was wearing normal sandals. She continued to follow behind the prince.

Soon they arrived in front of Kattara's room, Roland stepped forward and tapped the door twice.

Soon sounds of footstep could be heard from inside the room, Kattara wearing normal clothes appeared at the door. Looking at the prince, standing in front of her she bowed to show her respect.

"Kattara please ask Mellena and Cynthia to come here, someone wants to talk to you guys....." Roland said while watching Kattara's expression.

Kattara was bewildered by Roland's words by still complied nevertheless. Magic flowed through her viens and started heading towards her brain.

Kattara used her telepathy to talk with Mellena and Cynthia ,she informed them about the situation and also asked them to bring Anna and Nana together with them.

"Thank you Kattara....." Roland thanked Kattara for using her powers for the matter.

Kattara shook her head while saying "It is our duty to do as you command ,His Highness had ordered us to follow your words without questions so we must abide by his rules...."

Seconds later sounds of footsteps resounded in the corridor. Anna ,Nana ,Cynthia and Mellena walked towards Roland and bowed.

"His Highness, called us ????." Asked Mellena ,curiosity poised her tone.

Roland glanced at her before saying in a calm manner "Someone wants to talk to you guys...."

As soon as his words left his mouth ,a figure materialized in front of them, a brown colored cloaked figure.

Nightingale removed her hood, revealing a beautiful face beneath it. Soft lips, slight-purple eyes, purple hair reaching her waist, an exquisite face structure.

Roland was shocked upon seeing her face, it was very identical to [Admiral of stars]. Others noticed his surprise and looked towards him.

He quickly recovered from his shock using the ability to control his facial figures ,he was a [Clown]. He opened his mouth ,spoke in a mysteries tone.

"Your face is very similar to someone I knew...." Roland became lost in the familiar feeling, nostalgia came over him ,soon followed after by [Clown] powers.

His eyebrows quivered as he frowned while thinking 'Maybe I shouldn't let her meet Kite, previously it wouldn't have been a problem but her face....It resembles Cattleya's too much.

"Ohh...His Highness has met someone similar looking...????" Asked Nightingale with an astonished expression.

"An old friend, who was very smart and kind...." Mumbled Roland seemingly pondering about something.

"Was...????" Nightingale frowned after hearing his words.

"Well she is in a far away place that we can't go to... Yet.!!!!!" Said Roland before fully reverting back to his usual self.

Nightingale turned towards Anna and others ,she spoke in a soft tone.

"My name is Nightingale, a witch like you all and I am here to take you away to the [Witch corporation association]. There are other witches there and you can live with us. We would teach you how to control your powers and also make sure that you survive your [Adulthood]."

She patiently explained everything to everyone, she also invited Cynthia , Kattara along with Mellena.

Mellena asked in a soft tone with her usual calm expression "Is that all ????, If yes!!! Then my answer is no!!!."

Saying this she bowed towards Roland before turning around to leave, Nightingale's voice entered her eyes causing her to raise an eyebrow "But why???, Our sister are there in the camp, we are very close to finding the [Holy mountain]."

Nightingale couldn't understand their reason for not agreeing with her proposal. Her face had a big '?' on it.

"Do you have any Extraordinary Witches in your camp ???" Instead of Mellena it was Kattara who spoke this time.

"No.... Regretfully we don't have any extraordinary witches amongst us. We did tried to save them, all 3-of them were killed by that monster ,[God-general]." Said Nightingale in a cold tone.

Roland snickered a little before an amushed smile surfaced his face. Cynthia , Mellena and Kattara froze upon hearing Nightingale's words.

"I wouldn't leave his Highness.....I will fight the [Adulthood] and win." Before Cynthia and others could react, Anna who had been silent all this time suddenly spoke.

Her proclamation stunned everyone, even Roland was a little surprise by Anna's proclamation but he did expect something like this would happen.

"What you...????" Just as Nightingale was speaking ,the floor creaked as sounds of footsteps could be heard.

The corridor was illuminated using the candles so the figure was appeared was extremely clear. A young man wearing a black cloak was walking towards him.

His yellow-crystal eyes shined in the darkness, the atmosphere around his was rather strange, desolate and deathly quiet. His aura was similar to the that was the graveyard, death lingered around him.

The indifferent expression on his face was clearly highlighted ,he was about 6'3° tall with an extremely fit body ,Light-dark toned body color.

He was holding a spear in his hands and a letter in another. Roland looked at his before saying "Azik, welcome back...."
