"It was nice to meet you, too, lost child. I hope you use my creations well in the future." As he watched us start to walk away, his eyes filled with pain that he hadn't gotten anything out of that exchange.
'I feel like I should have paid him, though I feel like he also would have scammed me for the most he could, so I'm kind of divided on it, though he did seem nice enough.' While I think about this random dilemma, I continue to follow Tiali through the marketplace and stop in front of a small food stall.
"Are you starting to feel hungry, Tiali?" I look over what the food stall is serving and see several options ranging from kebabs to steaks. They seem to also have salads from the local flora.
"Yes, I was starting to feel a little hungry, lost child. I wanted something to snack on before my kids return from their adventure, as they should be returning today if what I have been told is correct." Tiali hands the stall worker an item and is given a kebab in exchange.
"Well, I hope they do return today, as it would be quite good news for you to see them." As I point at one of the steaks, the stall keeper requests an animal tooth in exchange, causing me to look confused but momentarily put my finger up.
I then quickly delve into my inner world and extract a tooth from a Viperwolf to see if I could use the materials within my inner world on the outside as I also see the gap between the Viperwolf's teeth become filled again with a new tooth just as fast a stalkers would as it than scampers back into the woods.
"Well, that is interesting, but now it's time to see if this works, shall we?" I throw the Viperwolf's tooth into my inventory and see it easily enter it without any problems.
'That worked splendidly, and this will also help tremendously in the future. Now, let's get me that steak.' I pulled myself out of my inner world and saw that nothing had changed around me. I quickly pulled the tooth out of my inventory but made it look like the tooth was always in my hand.
The stall keeper looks slightly impressed as they take the tooth, hand me the steak on a plate made of leaves, and happily tell us both to enjoy our food.
"Tiali, your clan is truly made up of many skilled people, from what I have seen so far." I happily bite into my steak and practically fall to my knees at how good it is, from the many facts of it being a nice medium rare with several delicious pops of spices.
"Are you okay, lost child?" Tiali says in a show of amusement and concern as she watches me savor the delicious flavor of the steak, tears threatening to come rushing out of my eyes.
"I am perfectly fine, Tiali. I just haven't had such good food in who knows how long, and I just have missed the wonderful flavors of spices and a well-cooked steak." I say with the happiest tone I believe any man could make as I fight my every urge not to scarf it down, as the flavor tells me to savor its grandness.
"The taste of it also just seems so familiar, like a memory I can't recall, a memory that seems so calm and soothing. Though I sadly can't enjoy the warmth of it, this steak is telling me everything about it." I start to cry lightly over the steak as I eat it.
"Lost child, you can get more if it is that good. The stall would probably happily accept you buying their food once again." Tiali says in an assuring tone that I should turn back and buy more of what seems to be the most majestic foods to me.
"You're right, Tiali. I will be right back. I'm going to buy everything they have at that stall and even convince them to teach me how to make it." I then quickly get up with determination and run off towards the stall, quickly standing in front of it again.
"I know I was just here, but I need more. I need every available thing you are willing to sell me, even if that means the cookware. I also need to know how you made that delicious steak." I say in a practically crazy way as I stand firm in front of the stall keeper.
"Lost child, we can sell you everything but not the cookware or how we make the steak. Both are heavily tied to my family, and I wish to keep it that way." The Na'vi says in a stern yet slightly fearful voice.
"that is fair as well as expected, but what do you want for all your available food? I will offer anything you can think of, even if that means the clothes off my back." I say in a determined voice that I want to get this food like a certain midget in a magic world.
"Anything you say," the Na'vi says as they start to ponder what to ask for in exchange for all the food in the stall. "What is the most valuable thing you have lost, child." the Na'vi asks in a curious and slightly greedy voice.
"here, give me a second, let me think." I then quickly jumped inside my inner world again and quickly spread my eyes over the entire place to see what would be the most valuable thing here. My eyes quickly land on one of the scales of Jörmungandr, but I quickly see that his scales are too big to be exchanged for them.
'I have an idea, ' I say suddenly as I rush towards the small, growing clan of ocean Na'vi in my inner world. I steal one of their baskets and quickly fill it with my thread, making sure it is strong yet soft.
I then rush under the giant piece of the mainland into several caverns and take a branch off a cove tree that has been helping the Ghost Leviathans multiply more easily while quickly heading into the skies and towards my inner world's hallelujah mountains. I quickly track down a Great Leonopteryx and tear off its crest and front claws, watching them quickly heal back before it hurriedly flies away.
I then head over for one of the last ingredients, land in front of a Great Austrapede, and quickly kill it before skinning it as efficiently as possible. I look over my knowledge tab to see how to properly skin something, reading multiple things from it, including countless methods and even a couple of clips to show me specific parts.
As I finish skinning the Great Austrapede, I quickly head to the deeper section of the water and dive towards a bulb zone, using my normal form to get down there as soon as possible. I then land in front of a Mesmer, kill the little hypo, and gently tear its wings out using a decorative.
While heading towards the mainland, I walk onto shore and quickly pull out three of my smallest spines. Then, I turn into my Na'vi form and pull my bones out of my knuckles like a wolverine. I pull them out as well, even puncturing my legs to take out my femur a couple of times to have some thicker bones.
'Okay, this should be everything needed. With this, they have some basic ingredients, some of which are only found once and never again, so I can tell them to visit Vey'kam, and he will make them something, as he can make something with all of this and make it look nice.
'We have twelve of my bones, four of which are my femurs and the other eight being the bones I have that are like wolverines. There are also my spines, which I will need to tell Vey'kam to be careful with but will make excellent daggers.'
'There are also Mesmer wings, which I feel could be used to help make a shield, on a cape, or something, both used for defensive purposes and pulling an aegis shield that will stun them. While there is also the Great Austrapede skin, which can be turned to leather to make lightweight armor, with my thread underneath it to provide some comfort and added integrity.'
'We also have the Great Leonopteryx crest, which will probably be used as a decoration or maybe even as the mold for a shield as that Great Leonopteryx was quite big. Last but not least, the word from the Giant Cove tree for the handles of weapons regardless of the kind, with it being incredibly sturdy while being surprisingly flexible, especially if used for a bow, but can be hardened for a spear or sword if wanted.'
'This is probably going to be one of the weirdest baskets I will ever hand someone, but it's filled with valuable stuff that can be used in various ways, so let's hope this works in my favor.' I then put it all in the basic, barely fitting it all, and quickly shoved it into my inventory to give it to the Na'vi.
" Let's see how this goes now." I then leave my inner world and appear in front of the Na'vi like I never left. I quickly pull out the basket from my inventory and will make up a hopefully believable excuse for it in a bit.
"This is what I have to offer. These are the most valuable things I can think of. With all of this, you can ask a friend of mine named Vey'kam to make you something, though the main idea in mind is a set of armor and weapons." I show the basket of materials to the Na'vi and hope that this works because I really want that food.
"Wow, this is quite a variety here. There is stuff in here that I haven't heard of or ever seen." they take the basket and start to rummage through it, mainly confused and intrigued by the type of wood and my spines in the basket but also avoiding touching the spines out of instinct.
"Well, you seem to be avoiding the spines, which is a good thing. They are highly poisonous and acidic, so please avoid touching them without some type of hand protection." I say this as a warning as I watch them look through the rest of the basket and become absolutely awestruck at the Great Leonopteryx crest and Great Austrapede skin.
"How, How is this possible? How do you have the crest of the Great Leonopteryx, the crest of the sky king, and when tamed, become the greatest leader of our kind? And how do you have the skin of the Great Austrapede? They are annoyingly hard to kill and rulers of the plains with how they act and how they would rather die than lose." The Na'vi asks in absolute shock and curiosity at how I got these things.
"Well, no animal is a predator when in front of me, and these things I see of equal trade to what you ask for, especially with what your food reminds me of," I say with some pride before a slight grin spreads as I think of the feeling I had when I ate that steak.

{ A/N Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and I did say that I would be trying to release another chapter soon as this was mainly made from me not being able to sleep at all, so random motivation is lovely.
Though that stuff aside, I hope you guys liked the chapter. I also enjoyed the small look into the MC's inner world, which I will soon be able to fully explore before the end of this arc. I also enjoyed one of his other abilities, which I have been neglecting because I didn't know how to go about it.
But planning aside, I now realize I give this completely random Na'vi some overpowered gear, which I know I need to see if I can rope them into the story somehow I can. Still, this Na'vi has better gear than I do now, which makes me feel once I can actually get to a world with a forge and stuff, I will also be having all sorts of fun crafting some lovely bullshit.
Also, before I end this note and head into the Status, I would like to say the food bit is actually related to the memory he will be receiving at the end of this arc, and that is why he was willing to give such useful materials away without a serious thought behind it.
Now, I will post the usual below, but I also hope some of you got the joke about the midget in a magical world who likes food.
