Say 'Yes' (Ch.143)

Lord Rina was quiet for a long moment, her head tilted to the side as she watched the High King fume, his anger clearly growing with her silence.

"Do you have nothing to say?" Turace asked when Lord Rina still gave no response even when a short moment had passed by.

In Lord Rina's mind, she studied the High King, his twitching brows, gritted teeth and clenched fists all spoke of his rage and she contemplated on the strangeness of the High King's reaction.

She was alive and well, or at least just slightly exhausted. But no harm had been done to her, so why exactly was he so agitated?

"You have a mission you must complete. We have not come here without preparing for the worst case scenario...if I fall, my warriors will protect you in my stead." Lord Rina said, still not certain on why the High King was so agitated.
