Chapter 25 Phase 2 (4)

Jacob chuckled, Jake pulled Andrew up begin his sprint and John easily caught up to them even though they had started before him.

"2 groups of ten on left and right, each. Middle group is in the center, i believe they know we are coming."

"Jake, Andrew support John in the center, Jacob, take right flank. I'll handle the left." Tumunomi Escaver was curious as to what fruits his training had yielded over this month.

Jacob jad a slight smile to his lips as he jumped over low branches, swung, vaulted over mid ones and swung under high ones.

John would get there first as he was literally bouncing off everything in sight - trunk to trunk, ground to branch, after a slide or a crouch, and even a twirl - as he reached there with a an indifferent gaze.

Jake looked like the most outwardly happy as he found his body moving in efficient and acrobatic ways. He watched John for a while before taking 5 stepps on a tree, leaping to another and then taking high ground as he hopped from branch to branch. At some point he even swung with a vine before letting go under a branch to slp his hand atop another and then launch himself forward.

Andrews eyes were wide like he could not believe this. He was supposed to be falling as he had staggered more than once. But between what the chip had helped him memorise and adapt to, and the fact that at the last second, he always righted himself, even he could not believe that he was not yet rolling on the ground with injury on his head, his torse and his limbs.

Tumunimi Esave had wanted to laugh when he jumped on a branch that was the height if his head and caught a branch to vault over it before allowing himself a flip so that the pit at the back of his knees allowed him to spin on that branch before arcing through green till his slid on a slopping branch before using his knees when he reached the ground and bouncing off that to dodge a low branch.

It had been worth it to gain general knowledge and keep his body in shape. Ether ways, the group moved with grace that they should not have at their ages and when they saw the enemy batches, they moved according to the formation asked of them.

John, still had gotten there first. So, he ran two 4 people in a clearing that wierdly did not show anything but darkness where light should have been.

TWANG!

He kicked off the floor to dodge an arrow, but with his speed and the moist green ground, it made him still move forward but in a slide. His body hit one boy into a girl, and that moment tht made him oause provided an ideal target for archers from the shadows, so he was forced to duck before springing back up to kick a face a gut then a face and then return to the previous body where he spun once and slap kicked a face.

As his opponents were falling, so where arrows to him. But he had taken off his long sleeve jacket and spin it about his body before he landed. So that by the time Jacob and Tumunomi had reached the flanks, he 2as safely on the ground.

Jake was overhead, so he saw 6 people crouched on different areas. People who had been sending arrows, like their comrades that were at the flanks on the ground, towards John.

And Jake got inspiration, so he kicked off a branch to not only ramo himself towards the six of them but to slow down his speed. He then planted double feet on one's back and then back-flipped to catch the branch that one had been swinging on that same branch without letting go. He had also spread his legs wide while he had done so, so that when he came around his feet met faves of fellow archers of the one he had kicked before. And when they had began falling to meet their former comrade Andrew was halfway across the clearing on the ground.

Jake further pulled out his shoe and had thrown it towards one of the three on the other side. That one had been aiming at Andrew but when the shoe met his face, the arrow went into the air. One of the archers turned to Jake as the last was bent on stopping Andrew. Thus as Andrew jumped behind the tree to successfully dodge an arrow, Jake jumped off the branch he had been standing on.

The arrow hit the branch, before Jake grabbed it again and swung forwards. His approach made it hard for them to see that his other shoe was in his hand so before his victim on the other side had shot at him, the shoe was in the Arrow's trajectory. It whizzed past him and Andrew had climbed up the tree by this time. The boy was struck by a bow and his back fell to trunk so he pushes himself back and kicked his attackers calf as he was still bent from his strike. The guy fell off the tree and a bone snapped.

"Titus Afrin, has been eliminated."

One of his fiends showed shock at the bone jutting out and his screaming friend before light shone on him but another had knocked an arrow.

Andrew bent before the arrow was loose and he took a risk to leap forward where he struggled with the archer who had not been distracted. When the distracted one came too, a shoe slapped his face from before and his face twisted its features before he knocked an arrow in that direction.

Andrew and the archer had struggled until they were connected to the branch only by their hands and they were dangling off it. And they kicked and grunted and squirmed until their forearms were on the branched

Jake kept the other archer busy until he decided to aim his bow at the hanging Andrew. Jake kicked off Andrew's back after delivering a flying kick to it so his friend slammed into the hanging archer. But none of them had let the bow go free, meaning that the arrow missed and nobody was injured. The free Archer boy pulled a dagger out of his pocket and ran to stab at Andrew who was swinging from Jake's intervention.

"Free your left hand!"

Andrew obeyed and his hands felt a breeze passing where they had just been. The archer's

The archer body retrieved the dagger with ease as that was his drawing arm as Andrew now swung on one hand. Jake's friend took a while to acclimatise to the situation and let go of his other hand, when their swing was slower and more in sync.

Andrew's opponent with the bow snatched the branch out of desperation but just as his reflexes had saved him, he felt extra weight pulling on him and quickly grabbed with his other hand to stabilise himself.

So, Andrew caught the boys leg with one hand and all his effort before allowing the second on his other leg after the boy began wriggling.

The boy on the branch did not know how to shoot Andrew without firing at his teammate, so he took aim at Jake. But Jake had used another flying kick - at the archer who was hanging on the tree branch this time - and the kick carried their opponent to the ground.

In fact, Jake had kicked high up the boy's chest so that he was destined to have his back slam onto the floor. Andrew weight and position further exacerbated the attack.

"WHACK!"

Abd the announcer would have made noise about his defeat but Jake had snatched his crest and punctured his thumb on the needle behind.
