Lookism: The Hungry Wolf

Garou in Lookism. Personality is sort of different. It's more up-to-date with his current personality in the ONE webcomic..... I suck at writing so don't expect anything good... I don't own anything, all stuff belongs to original authors. As for the cover. I dunno. The cover does not belong to me....

Lame Chapter 5

"Hey! What do you think you are doing!" A loud angry voice echoed through the street as a tall buff guy ran over, with a glare on his face. The tattoos, small, stubby mustache, righteousness, it was Euntae Lee, or Vasco.

"Hmm…? Just teaching these losers a lesson. A lesson, not to-" Garou spoke to Euntae neutrally, not really having much of an impression on the guy, besides the fact he was a major part of J High School. But then, out of nowhere, the guy charged forwards, swinging his fist.

Garou easily dodged the incoming blow, sliding to his right as he patted Vasco's knuckles, looking at him, completely unconcerned. This guy was really rash, and seemed to like jumping to conclusions….

"Good solid punch. But it's far too weak and predictable…." Speaking, Garou gripped Vasco's tattoed elbow, pulling him forwards, tripping the guy a little, who stumbled, falling towards the concrete. Just as he was about to hit the ground, Garou suddenly held out his arm, stopping Vasco from completely falling.

"Huh?!" Vasco looked at Garou in shock, not expecting the turn of events.

"Really, can you not jump to conclusions? These losers," Garou pointed towards the groaning delinquents on the ground. "Were trying to instigate a fight and bully them." Shrugging his shoulders, Garou pointed his thumb behind him, at the shaking Daniel and Jiho, who were holding each other. Daniel had said he was straight but was this really the case…?

Shaking his head, Garou propped Vasco upright, who dumbfoundedly stared as Garou kicked Doo Lee in the gut once more, seizing a phone out of Doo's grasps and deleting two photos permanently.

He waved to Daniel, who nodded back, smiling a little.

Garou shook his head. Vasco…. A hero of sorts huh? It reminded him of times long past…. He had really gotten a little soft. The Human Monster? That, for now, was a name of the past….

Few Minutes Later….

Vasco, Daniel, and Jiho sat there awkwardly on the steps outside the convenience store, all sipping a chocolate banana milk drink before Vasco turned to Daniel, asking him something.

"Is that…. Garou guy actually nice?" He spoke uncertainly, still not over being defeated so easily.

"Mm….. He's always been that way. We go way back. He may seem like a jerk, but his heart is in the right place…." Daniel looked up, cheeks jiggling as he stared at the glowing moon above.

Vasco looked at Daniel silently. The small guy was genuine. Sighing, Vasco took out his mp3, switching to a new song.

Next-Day...

Garou watched from afar, as Daniel and Vasco had a stand-off, with Jiho sitting to the side, trembling. Poor kid…..

He let it go on, for a while longer Daniel was completely terrified as Vasco gripped his shoulder.

Sighing, Garou walked over, greeting both of them nonchalantly, with the other Burn Knuckles, such as Jace Park, and the currently unnamed bald dude shrinking away.

Jace looked at Garou with conflicting emotions. Euntae had told him that Garou was one who he respected, for his righteousness and kindness, but Jace was a little skeptical. His friend, though upright and all in all a good guy was also sort of gullible….

"Daniel! This is Vasco… He is a pretty nice dude, so get along…" Garou smiled wildly, patting the stunned Daniel on the back. It would do that wimp Daniel a little good to have a friend like Vasco, help make sure he wouldn't get too arrogant with his new slim self….

Leaving them, he went off, sitting in a corner and taking out his homework. Though Garou was not exactly the most upright and studious of people, he still took his studies seriously, earning pretty good grades in all his subjects.

As he jotted down words with his mechanical pencil, two footsteps approached him, causing Garou to look up. A pretty girl looked down at him. She was pretty tall, with long slender legs and long blond hair. Her face was mostly impeccable, with unblemished skin and large clear eyes. A tint of grit to her, she seemed like a delinquent to Garou. Wearing quite fashionable clothes, a black hoodie, and a skirt, a bandanna along with a black cap was positioned backward on her forehead. Her body was quite well-developed for a high schooler, causing the resident pervs of the school to also stare.

Next to her, a squinting, weird dude stood, the guy had tinted black sunglasses and some other designer clothes.

"Hey, you are one of the interesting transfers everyone's talking about!" The bandanna girl smiled cheerfully, waving at him even though he was literally like one foot away….

"Yeah…?" Garou asked, putting away his homework into a binder.

"You're pretty interesting…. The name is Mary Kim by the way!" The girl went on, chattering away much to the annoyance of the tinted sunglasses dude, who interrupted.

The tinted sunglasses dude walked around Garou, inspecting him before he spoke arrogantly. "It seems…. I am cooler."

"....."

"..."

"Okay…? And how is that relevant?" Garou replied calmly, Mary taking a fascination to his weird springy horn-like hair.

"Are you tryin to start something? Huh? Huh!?" The tinted sunglasses dude attempted to intimidate Garou, who looked down at the shorter guy in perpetual disdain.

"Ok. Bye." Copying an act by a certain person he knew, long ago, Garou plainly rejected the attempted fight from sunglasses and walked off, Mary laughing at her friend's misfortune.

Mary held her childhood friend back, smirking as he, a vocal department student, Vin Jin, shouted curses and threats at the disappearing Garou.

More Timeskips….. (Few Hours Later)

(A/N: There will be a few time skips once in a while, as this webtoon is sorta like that too, but I'll try to introduce a few of my own things.)
