Chapter #15 Fight with Meridith and Jade

Johan awoke from the fight after two hours, the throbbing pain in his head and stomach a brutal reminder of the encounter. Groaning, he gingerly touched his nose, his head, and his stomach. The most intense pain emanated from a powerful blow to his head, leaving him dizzy for a while, but eventually, he regained his senses.

However, what followed wasn't dizziness but profound admiration for her strength and skills. Johan, having a collection of martial arts at his disposal, had never used them due to his arrogance. Yet, realizing her superiority, he now wished he had employed his diverse set of skills earlier. Unfortunately, it was too late. He had underestimated her strength, though he knew she was formidable—just not stronger than him.

As she got serious, Johan found himself on the receiving end of a knockout blow, gaining him newfound respect. After the encounter, he surveyed the room, a classic setting, and stood up, only to realize he was still in the gym. The White Death began training both of them, but Johan had a genius idea—he wanted to copy The White Death's unique and deadly martial art.

Jade and Meridith, adopting their martial stances, launched a coordinated attack. Jade executed a Taekwondo kick, while Meridith unleashed a Muay Thai punch. Gojo Satoru, however, effortlessly dodged the kick and blocked the punch with a single finger, smiling and provocatively urging them to do their best.

Meridith, irritated, went all out, while Jade, sensing the provocation, remained calm. Johan, waiting for Gojo Satoru to use Renewal Taekwondo, was astonished at how easily he evaded their attacks, feeling the strength behind each strike.

While Meridith distracted him, Jade attempted a surprise attack from behind. However, Gojo Satoru, with his superhuman eyesight, easily detected Jade. He teased, "Too classic and too predictable," wearing a goofy smile.

Despite knowing he was being provoked, Jade unleashed his full fury. A kick to the head missed, but Meridith's punch landed. Gojo's face remained unscathed, and he countered with a level 6.5 strength punch, knocking her down with blood at her mouth and nose.

Jade, horrified, maintained his composure, attacking strategically. He aimed for Gojo's leg, swiftly switching to a head kick. Gojo blocked with his arm, spun, and delivered a powerful 7.0 level kick. Jade, though sent flying, surprised Gojo by remaining conscious and determined to stand up.

Gojo, impressed by Jade's willpower, advised him to rest. Jade gladly complied, falling asleep.

Meanwhile, Johan observed the scene with widened eyes, realizing Gojo Satoru had toyed with them like playthings without even resorting to Renewal Taekwondo. Dissatisfied, Johan yearned to witness the full extent of Gojo Satoru's prowess.

After training, Gojo Satoru gave them a break. Jade adopted the moniker "Green Mantis" for his swiftness in Taekwondo, while Meridith became "Brown Lioness" for her lion-like temper and love for combat. Johan, disappointed that Renewal Taekwondo remained unused, eagerly awaited the next chapter of their training.
