chapter 3

When arrived at the palace I was amazed it was so beautiful and vintage and huge. my gawking was cut off by the woman that sat in front of me "this castle was built with protection spells, with my-OUR ancestors spells being the ones to protect it" she said smiling at me being polite I smiled right back at her. I gazed back at the palace wondering what is waiting for me in this world.

we got through the gates and a man comes out and opens the carriage doors helping us out, her going first me going right after I watch as the gates close keeping out the people who dare not step foot near the palace "catch up dear" she says which catches me off guard 

I followed her through the palace I see a lot of paintings of many different women they all wear the same crown. as I walk through the Halls trailing behind the woman. I noticed how dark it is there isn't much light. focusing on the interior of the hallway and the palace

     I forgot she was in front of me and ended up bumping into her after she comes to a stop. she looks down at me with a blank face "come  inside" she says I followed her inside an office filled to the brim with books and notebooks and paper and charts of asteroids and other planets

    "do you know why I brought you here, she says calmly I stare at her fingers not knowing what to say to her  I don't know why she expects me to just have a whole conversation with her when I barely know her.

She sighs "I'm going to tell you a story I want you to pay close attention" I just nod not knowing what to say to her.

  " so there once was a woman who was Queen of the Moon she had one daughter and a son She Loved her daughter and son but soon at the age of 15 the son had gotten ill and so did the queen and the whole kingdom. everyone thought it would pass and it did take a few lives and one of those lives was the son, the queen was angry and upset that the son had passed at such a young age and that she couldn't bear any more children so that left her young daughter, who was 12 at the time. she told her daughter that she will be taking place as a queen. the daughter accepted it cause later at age 17 her mother passed and so did her father a few months later. Makin her queen of the moon.  but, at age  18 she was set to court a king of the beasts. he had a kingdom that was very small cause there wasn't that much beast in his kingdom and most perished away during the illness that spread and so when they courted by the age of 19 and 20 she gave birth to her first daughter then a few years later her second one then a few years later her third daughter one day as the queen did her duties in the village she came upon a man he was the most handsome man ever she would visit him every day and fell in love with him she would sneak out of the palace late at night and meet him. unexpectedly she had fallen pregnant by him ashamed she had locked herself in her room to only be fed by the maids. the king was so ashamed he couldn't look at her. later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl" she sighed looking in another direction with teary eyes I didn't know if she was finished talking or if she wanted to be comforting but I probably know the end of this story and I don't like it.

  She wipes her face then turns back to me with a sharp stare and says "follow me" she gets up and walks out of the office I stare at the now empty doorway with shock she's just gonna act like she just didn't have a break down I get up quickly and follow her

   "Girls" she calls from the throne room or whatever it is. I turn around to be faced with the three girls I met last time.
