Logging in...

Some time ago, I heard of a rather intriguing story of a young man. He told me all about his life up until then. A lot might not believe what they will read, but most things have actually happened, or so the story teller claimed. I decided to write about it so people realize, meeting people online or playing video games with other people or alone isn't something bad. It's actually quite the opposite. But I will let you all see it yourselves while reading this novel about a man that pulled darkness and wanted to create light out of it.

It was a chilly morning in Frankfurt. Kids were in classes, adults to their jobs. But there always are those lucky days that kids get to go back home earlier, because some of their classes were cancelled. The bell rang and the kids ran out of school in a hurry to catch their buses and trains. A group of kids stayed at school, each for their own reasons. There was a girl, waiting to hear a story, another girl waiting for someone and a guy, a guy who was about to start narrating his story. A story about how a game can change someone a lot.

'Will you start already? You promised me you would tell me why you don't like Spanish and I have been waiting since yesterday!' Madeline said, crossing her arms across her chest.

'Well just let him take his time. It's not like we are leaving any time soon since the trains are cancelled for the next two hours anyway.' Emily said, sighing and looking at Madeline.

'You say that, but I know you want to hear about it too. Plus, I have waited long enough. Start already!' Madeline said, almost at a yelling tone.

'Alright, alright. Let me see, where should I begin from...' Kai said and closed his eyes shut while facing the clouded sky.

'O key so, this story takes places around five years ago and ends only about a year ago. Everything is true, even tho some might sound quite unbelievable. I won't get mad if you won't believe me, I know I wouldn't believe my story if someone said it to me.' he said and noticed a man coming their way with the side of his eye.

'Hello children. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I heard you were about to narrate an unbelievable story, am I right young man?' the man asked in a calm tone. He was a average sized middle-aged man, around his 40's most likely, probably waiting for his child.

'Yes sir, I was about to narrate a story indeed. You are welcome to listen to it if you want, as long as you won't interrupt me much to question something.' Kai said to the man and offered a sit on some stairs next to him.

'Thank you young man. Apparently my child will have classes for another one or two hours so I have plenty of time to kill.' the man said and took a sit on the stairs next to Emily.

'It's fine sir, no need to thank me. Tho, I doubt you will believe my story.' Kai said.

'You never know kid. This old man you're looking at has heard his fair share of weird and unbelievable stories and even experienced quite a lot of stuff that would be hard to understand.' the man said and smiled.

'I'm actually a retired reporter. I used to go all around the world to gather stories of all kinds. But the most intriguing were these unbelievable stories. The fact that not anyone could believe that what you say is true makes it so fascinating.' the man continued talking and seemed like he had gotten a bit nostalgic of his reporter days.

'But enough about me, it has been ten years since I retired. I had to take care of my child and my wife, I couldn't be away like that. You can start young man.'.

'Alright then. Five years ago... It was then, that I joined another world. The world of MMORPG games. I remember I watched had just finished a show and I was trying to find a game close to what the show represented. I found the game, downloaded it and played a game of its genre for the first time ever. I remember I started at 9 pm and stopped at 4 am the first time I played. Totally different from what I was used to. It wasn't too long that I made my first friends in this game, even tho the friendships didn't last long. Thanks to those two friends, if memory serves right their names were Leonardo and Rosalind, I found a family, a guild as it's called in the game. It was then that I first met a demon, their leader and... my ex.'

Hello everyone.

I decided to write about a story I heard recently. It will be as close as possible to what the person that it belongs to said to me. He claims all of these were real, and I decide to believe him. What you will do is up to you.

Peace
