Night Out: Meeting You Again
Remedy POV

We where arriving at the gala cafe and I was later than expected due to traffic. I get out of the back seat and go to the passenger seat window. The window went down and I unhooked my car keys to hand it to ray...
" Can you stop by my job and pick up my car and bring it up here please."
" Yeah I'll drive your car and Jolly can drive mines. If that's okay with her?"
He said looking in her direction she nodded in response. I scooted back as Ray pulls back and pull out of the drive way to only turn to see a familiar Ram truck across the street but there a lot of ram trucks so it couldn't possibly be his.
I walked into gala and I saw Luca with the files all out disoriented on the table. I could tell he was as frustrated as I was.
"Hey Luca sorry I was late I had forgot my car at work the other night and on top of that the police was at my house this morning plus the traffic." I grabbed a chair and plopped down.
"Its fine we can talk about that in a minute Remedy but this is the paper for the project we talked about yesterday at work. You will have to work with-" A waiter comes but Luca just usher her away which I didn't mine at the moment wanting to vent to him. As he was still looking at the paper obviously forgotten what he was gonna say.
I looked over at Luca before giving up with a sigh," Wait you said that the cops where at your house what for?" Luca said looking up from the paper after he registered what I had said and giving up on the papers that was in front of him. Luca has the tendency to forget his surrounding or what people telling him when he is engrossed in his work unless its something concerning and it takes about a minute or two before he puts the work aside to listen. Something I love about Luca cause he never to busy to listen to me even if its something over my colleges.
" Well for starter the reason they where at my house because Molly is missing and-"
" Molly. Molly,Molly, as in Molly Reed as in Molly and Jolly Molly?" He says trying to clarify I was talking about molly from our work place, " Let me finish before you ask a ton of questions." I say ready to explode myself being pretty stress out about all that happen in just in one night.
Luca went silent letting me know to continue, " Yes it was that molly. I met my ex to who I would rather forget about and the things he did to me but it wasn't so bad with the fact the he left shitting." I said snickering before sighing think about my encounter with Logan and the fact that I cant tell Luca what exactly went on with my ex in the past but, Luca know his limits when asking question.
" I end up meeting this one guy who I might add wasn't that bad looking but there was something about him that set me on edge. I found out that Molly went missing this morning when Jolly and a guy name Ray that I met last night came. Jolly said, "They left the club when they saw me with that guy that I was talking about earlier who was good looking. They got to the car and buckled up when Jolly was gonna shift gears someone went to put a cloth around there face but she was able to escape but when she turned back around the guy had grabbed Molly and she didn't want to get caught so she ran till she bumped into Ray which I forgot to mention he was the bartender who helped me deal with my ass of an ex." I lean back stretching out my arm as I finished.
" Wait, What did you do to have your ex shitting?" The way that Luca say it had me burst out in laughter (good thing I didn't have anything to drink other wise I would of spitted all on his face)
"Ray the bartender had put laxative in his drink believe it or not." After I said that Luca burst out in laughter at the thought of it just being laxative.
" And who was that guy you met last night?" He said after he calmed down from the fit of laughter earlier.
I wiped my eyes from my watery eyes from laughing so hard before I said, " His name is Logan."
The bell that was on top of the door ring indicated that someone has entered as I said, " Logan Wild" I looked over at Luca not realizing I was looking out at the window as I see his eyes looking else wear I follow his gaze.
" Speak of the devil" we both say and I looked back at him wondering how the fuck he know what he looked like. Luca gets up gives him one of those man hugs with a pat on the back. They sit down but not once did I look at Logan in the eyes after he came in through the door.
" Hey Logan thanks for coming by on such a short notice." Luca say as I look anywhere but at the table, I didn't know what to do at the moment or what to say but then Luca brought the attention to me, " This is Remedy I have heard that you came across each other maybe once or twice." I stared act Luca with my eyes bulge out and he knew it was only once why was he trying make it out like I knew him enough to even call him a friend.
I sat there in disbelief waiting for his answer, " actually-" before he could even actually give a proper answer the same waitress from earlier came back. "Is there anything else you need?" Looking over at Logan like me and Luca wasn't here. I know we told her earlier that we wasn't gonna get anything to drink at the moment but now I want that drink. I clear my throat and she looks over at me before she looks back at Logan like I wasn't there. Don't get me wrong I could care less right now I have more things to worry about but a girl needs a caramel frapappccino.
" If you are here to just look at Logan then please bring your manger."
The girl held her mouth open shocked that I even spoke up she had the wrong person especially after the morning I had. She left and I had folded my legs and let out a sigh.
"Well there goes the waitress" Luca say towards me with a smirk.
He knows damn well she was to busy ogling over Logan then actually taking people orders.
" Well its not my fault people can't do there job right." I said looking away.
" She was doing her job but she was drooling over Logan which looked like you were-" Luca didn't get to finish because I kicked him under the table and he made a grunt sound causing him to stop whatever he was gonna say. I heard Logan laugh and I looked at him and glared before I saw the same waitress come back up with her manager.
" Hello my name is Ryan, and my waitress here said you wanted to see me?" Ryan said. He looked like he was in his mid twenty and he didn't have such a bad body either, his shaggy hair brought out his jawline and hazel eyes might I add.
"Yes she asked us was there anything we need but she was to busy drooling over this dude right here." I say pointing at Logan-"Than to see if I needed anything which I did thus you being here at the moment." I finished.
" THATS NOT WHAT HaPPENED!" The annoying damn waitress screech.
The manger gave her a glare that meant shut the fuck up.. I mean i'm pretty sure we where all thinking of it.
" I apologize for my obnoxious waitress acting unprofessional." He said as he lower his head a tad and grabbed my hand to give it a kiss. I looked over at Logan to see him looking pissed off. HA HA...
" Apology accepted but can I get a caramel frapappccino." I said as he removed his lips from my hand he shake Luca hand and said , " and you"
" I will have pineapple herbal tea with a spoon of sugar." He nodded his head and went to Logan to shake his hand with his hand held out and Logan took it but with a very firm grip on his hand. As Logan spoke you could see the pain in Ryan eyes, " I would like black coffee." Ryan didn't let out a peep but when Logan let go his hands he stretch out his hand probably trying to feel his hands again.
" Sorry for the bad service. The drinks will be on us and will come off your paycheck Debby." He said looking at her with stern eyes before looking back at us with a smile. He acted way mature then his looks that's for sure whatever his age was I give him my respect for acting respectful besides the kissing gesture which I don't mind.
They left and Luca went straight to the point.
"Now that I know that you guys know each other let me get to the point. Logan this is who I wanted you to introduce and who you will be working with on this next project with. She is the one who kept all the other projects together and Remedy he is the one who does the negotiating when talking with our customers."
At this moment i'm trying to somehow keep a straight face or just let my mouth drop open in and o shape. Since when did we need a negotiator, I handle everything.
" You need a break Remedy and our business has ties with Logan that will benefit us and he doesn't mind negotiating especially with this next project that will not just benefit us benefit both of us financially like I brought up multiple times in our conferences." Luca say as if he read my facial expressions all to well when it comes to my work.
" Ugh fine." I say getting up putting my hand out for him to take. " My name is Remedy Ross and its nice meeting you again. I happy to meet your acquaintance and to be able to work with you." As Logan takes my hand to shake it I get this warm feeling inside my stomach.
" The pleasure is all mine.....to be able to work with you that is. It's nice meeting you again as well." He say as he does the same thing that Ryan did and put his lips on my hand. I look down where he brought his lips where they still sat and look up to his face to see him look up at me. Feeling weird and uncomfortable I roughly move my hand out of his grasp. I shook my head the sat back down but before I got to get the chance to sip my caramel frap that was just brought to us the door open.
" Hey Remedy I had got you car keys and your car is locked up front right there." Ray say coming in and pointing to where I can see it in my view, then I hear a gasp come from behind ray. "That's that guy from the bar who - you know-" I cut Jolly off," No I don't know what you know." I said raising my voice a little towards the end.
" Oh one more thing before we go I have got all the things the police asked me to get so you can be a little safer when you get home." Luca said which I wanted to face palm myself but I held against it.
" I think I can handle myself but thank you Ray for going out of your trouble I could of went and got things I need to my liking." He nodded his head before handing me the key .
" Hey you" Jolly said looking towards Logan direction which he looks to interested into this conversation for no reason. He shook his head telling her to continue, " Make sure she gets home safe even if she has a car make sure no one has went inside will you? "
"Yea and if it will make you feel better I will check her house." I looked up at Logan with disbelief then back at Jolly like what the actual fuck.
" Why cant Ray do it?" I say still confused why she even brought this up. She knows how I feel about my privacy and I trust Ray now every since the night at the club to the point of keeping Jolly safe.
" I have a shift tonight and I gotta take her to the police for protection for the night till I get off. I need to go check out her apartment an let her get some clothes before she leave to the police station."
" Okay what about you Luca?" I say in a rush not liking the idea of Logan coming into my personal space.
" I would but I have to go back to the office and work on paperwork." He said not feeling remotely apologetic.
" Well its settled then I will make sure that you are safe " Logan say with stern look making it clear that he wasn't taking no for and answer. I gave up and face palmed myself giving up knowing that I can't be mad at them for trying to make sure I stay safe. But there invading my privacy god dammit.

sorry for updating it so late i had to ad somethings and its Christmas had to spend time with th family.... and here my gift to you i will edit it latter with all my mistakes didn't have time to fix it
