I managed to find my room this time without being lost so thank God for that.
I slammed my room door and went face down on the soft mattress. I took one of the pillows and screamed my lungs out into it.
I took a few deep breaths to calm my nerves and spoke to myself, "Why did I think this time would be any different? He could've told her any big load of bullshit and she'd fucking believe because she's so madly in love with him."
"Dylan," I whispered and quickly went over to the window where my phone was charging. I turned it on and anxiously tapped my finger against my leg as the phone slowly loaded.
I quickly dialed Dylan's number and nervously chanted for him to pick up when I heard heavy footsteps slowly nearing my door.
"Hello? Katie?" he finally responded.
I breathed heavily into the phone, "Dylan, listen to me carefully. I want you to make zero noise right now okay?"
"What's going on?" he questioned nervously.
