Half an hour had past and I was still sitting there sipping my tea, which has gotten cold, and Grandma was still staring intently at me, patiently waiting on me to finish.
I drank the remainder of my tea and placed the cup on the kitchen counter.
"Well, goodnight," I said while walking away.
Grandma cleared her throat and I stopped in my tracks. I cursed under my breath and turned to her with a pained expression on my face, "I'm not feeling too good, can I just go to my room and we talk tomorrow?"
"No," she plainly responded.
I massaged my temples, "Grandma you're being very heartless and unreasonable right now."
She scoffed, "How am I the unreasonable one? You sat there for almost an hour sipping tea that I'm sure got cold after the first fifteen minutes."
Grandma patted the stool beside her, "You're going to sit here and you're going to tell me what happened."
