After resting for 30 minutes Dazen got up and prepared to resume his training, he went towards Kenji and said: "Let's continue."
Kenji nodded and said: "Okay, now we will train your mastery over the lightning element, so far you are doing basic training increasing your resistance by exposing yourself to increasingly greater charges of electricity, but there are some tricks that can help you help in training."
Kenji took out a small battery from his pocket and handed it to Dazen: "This is a small device that stores energy, you will have to charge it, but you will have to take some care, the first is that if you load it too high the device will overload, this will help you more easily control the electricity you produce."
Kenji looked at Dazen and continued: "The second care is about the nature of the electricity you produce, there is a difference between natural electricity and that produced by chakra and the purer the electricity you produce, the more powerful it becomes, so you're going to have to refine your electricity to the point where it's impossible to tell the difference between the two types."
Dazen looked at the battery and said: "What happens if I make a mistake, will this keep working?"
Kenji said: "No, if you overload it you will end up breaking it, but there's no need to worry, I brought enough for your training."
Dazen nodded and began trying to charge the battery with Kenji watching and sometimes interrupting to explain what Dazen was doing wrong and how he could improve the process.
Dazen continued with this training for the next two hours and the result was several overcharged batteries, "Damn, I thought I had good control this training is very difficult."
Kenji smiled and said: "You're getting impatient, so you won't achieve anything, now we're going to have another break, you can go home, we'll meet here again at 2:00 pm, rest well, the training in the afternoon will demand a lot from you."
Dazen nodded and asked, "How is the others training?"
Kenji was a little surprised by the question, but quickly replied: "They are doing well, they are learning at the same pace as you, with time they will show great improvements in their strength."
Dazen nodded and said, "That's good, alright we'll continue later, sensei."
Finishing speaking Dazen quickly disappeared, Kenji looked at this and smiled as he thought: "Using my trick against me, the boy is getting better, well I'll get some rest too."
Dazen started to go home while thinking: "Now my training is very hard, I don't think it's a good idea to train even more at night, but I didn't want to waste this time doing nothing, I think it would be a good idea to study a little fuuinjutsu during this time, learning the theory won't require much of me and will be a very useful skill."
Fuuinjutsu was a very useful skill as it could be used in many ways and could seal people, objects and chakra and Konoha should have the largest collection of knowledge on the subject currently so from Dazen's point of view it would be a waste not to learn at least the basics.
Dazen thought about it a little and decided: "I'm going to do it, learning the basics of fuuinjutsu shouldn't be difficult and if I have talent in the area it will open up many possibilities to increase my strength, tomorrow I'll go to the village library and research about the subject."
Having decided Dazen went home to rest before training resumed, in the afternoon Dazen was at the training field waiting for Kenji, who soon arrived.
Kenji saw Dazen and said: "Let's continue now we will do physical training to improve your speed, here is the list of exercises you will have to do." Then Kenji took out a list and passed it to Dazen.
Dazen took the list and as he read it his expression got worse, finishing reading he looked at Kenji and said: "That's impossible."
Kenji smiled and said: "Don't underestimate yourself, I believe you are capable of completing this training now stop complaining and start training the faster you start the faster you will finish and then we can finish with combat training."
Dazen looked at the teacher who didn't seem to understand the concept of empathy and gave up arguing, Dazen began training while Kenji watched him sitting under a tree.
Seeing his teacher who seemed to be enjoying the moment, Dazen's mood worsened even more, but he couldn't do anything if he didn't continue with his training.
Soon enough, Dazen managed to finish all his training with great difficulty and falling to the ground in exhaustion soon after, seeing this Kenji approached and said: "As I said you are completely capable of completing the training, now rest for 40 minutes as soon as you recover we will begin the fight."
Dazen looked up at the sky as he thought: "And in the end I'm still going to get a beating, life really isn't easy." When 40 minutes had passed Dazen got up and got into a fighting position.
Kenji smiled and said: "So let's get started, I hope you do better than yesterday."
