It will be thicker if using Acrylic, which is 1.25 in or 32 mm.

That is why it will be very troublesome to use level 10 bulletproof glass because it will be very thick if using materials such as Glass Laminated, Polycarbonate or Acrylic. It would be different if you used Aluminum oxynitride, because bullet proof glass with Aluminum oxynitride has a thickness more than 2 times less than other materials.

Even so, it would be very excessive to use level 10 bulletproof glass on buildings in medieval times. As now, level 1 bulletproof glass is more than enough. Although they use a sledgehammer to break this glass, it will take a very long time. Before they could break this glass, the guards would have caught them.
