Regret

Lieing motionless in the middle of the road lily recalls her life as it is ending soon. For all normal humans her life was perfect with loving parents, responsible husband and caring in law's. But for lily this was a life with full of regrets.

When she was 5 year old kid she liked a doll very much but she never opened her mouth to ask for it. She felt her parents will not like it. Until she finished her education she did what her parents wanted her to do. She married whom her parents wanted her to marry. She became homemaker to keep her parents, in law's and husband happy.

She always became a back drop whom no one noticed that she was not happy. Not happy being a back drop but she feared that if she changed others around her will be unhappy.

But now when her life is ending at 27 in this middle road she regrets her choice, regards her life, regrets not being happy.

She stares at the sky and think " can my life be undone, can I please go back, can please love myself, can I live my life, please, please". She begged to no one in perticular as her eyes dimmed and swalled her to complete darkness.
