Finally Healed

Over the last couple of days, Liu Xiaolan and Mu Yuchen's life was going smoothly.

While Mu Yuchen continued going to the city each day to deal with the sale of chestnuts, Liu Xiaolan stayed home and thought about which villager is worth the investment.

Although Liuojia Village is not the biggest village around, it still has a couple hundreds of residents, and even if Liu Xiaolan wanted to, she had no chance of knowing each and every single person living in the village.

Originally she thought about asking Zou Xinghe if he would be interested in her business, but she quickly declined her own idea. After all, the Zou family has been in trouble recently and needed to find a new place to sell their prey to, where would they have time to split their attention and do the selling business with her?

After going through the memory of the original owner of this body, Liu Xiaolan had a few other names that she was curious about. However, since taking over this body, she had no close contact with any of these people, so it was hard for her to tell what their real character was, and if they were good picks to take over the chestnuts business for her.

Thankfully in the last couple of days, Liu Xiaolan continued to buy meat from the Zou family, making a trip to their house at least once daily. Once there, she could pretend to be curious about some things and ask a thing or two from Elder Zou.

So now, 3 days later, Liu Xiaolan finally decided.

The object of her decision was the Tao family. From what she could understand, people from the Tao family might not be too smart, but they were honest and hard working. Although they had no experience in selling anything, but that's something she can slowly teach them.

The most important point for her considerations however, was the fact that their family was big. The Tao family has 3 sons in a similar age to herself, but their family is not as rich as the Liu family.

With many people to feed, but not many acres of fields, their family has been having trouble keeping enough food for themselves for some time now. Not to mention that with the growing age of their children, they need to think about finding women willing to marry their sons.

And that's an additional cost as well, and it's not a small amount of money when one considers how greedy some villagers can be when it comes to selling their daughters in the name of marriage.

Because of that, Liu Xiaolan felt that the Tao family was perfect for her plans. They could work hard, had the time and people to go to the city, and at the same time they should be willing to accept working for her after knowing how much money they can earn doing it.

With her decision settled, Liu Xiaolan was once again back to sleeping at home and being bored, turning into a small pig raised by Mu Yuchen.

After waiting for 3 days, the wound on her hand has finally disappeared and she can be free again. Thinking of this, Liu Xiaolan had a smile on her face.

"Little fool, look, my injury is gone." She said while grinning with happiness.

Mu Yuchen had a smile on his face as well, but deep inside his heart he couldn't help but curse the fact that his lady's injury disappeared so soon. Wasn't it good living in the way they did for the last couple of days, letting him take care of the necessary work? Didn't his lady enjoy staying home and resting?

But then again, from another side, he was indeed happy that his lady managed to get rid of the injury on her hand. After all, even ignoring the wound on her hand, the additional resting period also helped in slowly improving the condition of Liu Xiaolan's body, which was in an overworked state before...

"Yes, my lady is the best, getting the wound healed in such a short time…" He answered.

Liu Xiaolan looked outside their house and noticed that it was already getting dark. She muttered to herself, 'Well, it seems like I can't do anything more today…'

After picking the Tao family previously, Liu Xiaolan decided to wait with contacting them till her injury is gone. Otherwise, if she needed to explain some things to them or prepare something, wouldn't her little fool get in the way?

But now it would seem that she needs to push her plans one more day. She looked at Mu Yuchen and said, "Little fool, it's all your fault. I keep sleeping for most of the time and don't do anything now…"

Mu Yuchen smiled and said, "My lady doesn't need to do anything. Just tell me and I'll take care of it for my lady…"

Liu Xiaolan looked at him and sighed helplessly. If she truly lived the way he said, wouldn't she really turn into a small piglet? It's true that she needs to gain some weight for her current body, but she doesn't want to become too fat…

Thinking of this, Liu Xiaolan felt that it was all Mu Yuchen's fault. "Little fool, it wouldn't be that it's your plan? Turning me into a fat and ugly woman and then abandoning me?"

Pretending to be hurt by his behaviour, Liu Xiaolan decided to get a little revenge on her little fool and started teasing him. But where would Mu Yuchen know her thoughts?

"That's not what I meant by helping my lady" Mu Yuchen said as he quickly went towards Liu Xiaolan and put her into his own arms. "Even if my lady becomes fat, I wouldn't abandon her. No matter if it's now or in the future, I want to stay with my lady forever…"

Liu Xiaolan originally just wanted to tease her Mu Yuchen a little, but now hearing his words she had a complicated look on her face.
