Ophis Learns Something(Raw)

(Kurayami will meet Scathach in the next chapter in a few hours maybe. It is a friday. As I said before I don't have time to edit and will do it later.)

Outside the land of shadows the Celitic gods noticed how Odin and Lugh were struggling more and more as the dead that were keeping the cracks open were fighting them.

The more the sun set the more undead made it out and their power was only increasing as time went on. If they kept this up, not only would Grigori get even stronger their own realm would be full of the dead.

They had to deal with two problems at once and now they had been given the perfect opportunity to do both. If they tried to close the cracks completely and seal it again they might buy themselves some time and they could get rid of Grigori's important members.

Sadly for them, only Odin knew what would happen if they did that. Ophis would be pissed if they did something to her mate which was why that thought did not even come to his mind.

Plus he really liked Kurayami and he had no reason to go against his word as Kurayami had promised to take care of Loki if he started trouble. Even though his intentions were not good and he just wanted Fenrir, a deal is a deal.

Lugh as well had more honor than to sacrifice people for petty reasons as he saw what Kurayami's group was doing as helping them for little benefit. As such that thought did not cross his mind, but the other gods were getting ready for when Lugh and Odin were too tired to keep up.

As time was a bit distorted time went faster in the Land of Shadows then the outside, so while they were killing undead on the inside and converging toward the center of the realm as they killed as many of the dead as they could.

From time to time they would run into some very powerful undead that would require more care to take on, but Kurayami treated this more like a vacation. He ended regrouping up with Akeno and her group early on and now they were on their way to Esdeath's group.

From their he intended to go to Raynare's group until they all were together. If he just charged right into the center he would kill all the undead and not leave any for the rest of the group who wanted to feed their weapons souls.

Yet the moment the gods has been waiting for had just happened. The sun was gone as it already set and Lugh got much weaker he no longer could keep up the stable hold on the dimension and he was ambushed. The gods attacked him, but not to kill him.

They wanted to get him out of commission so they could seal the dimension with the troublesome new generation of Grigori. Lugh was enraged at the betrayal .

"I ORDER YOU TO STOP!"

He tried to fight back, but he was out numbered the sun was not in the sky meaning he was taken care of quite quickly. Once he was restrained they gazed at Odin who was now trying his best to keep the Land of Shadows sealed.

A female war goddess gazed at him and grinned.

"Step aside Odin. We will not hurt you if you just move, we will seal this place up and let them die in there."

Odin grit his teeth and he decided to warn them.

"I am warning you, if you do this you will piss of someone worse than Azrael and Kurayami together. If you do not want to die, do not try it."

She sneered and a spear appeared in her right hand and the other gods equipped their divine weapons all aimed at him. Odin was not fearful in the slightest, he just wanted to keep a pantheon from being destroyed for Lugh's sake.

He moved aside and the gods all began to process of sealing the land of shadows together. As the cracks closed of the dimension returned to sealed state and all the while Ophis who was in Japan saw what they were doing.

Just like what Odin had thought she was for the first time in her existence, madder than when Great Red took the dimensional gap from her. However that was now a forgotten goal of hers, but they were trying to take her mate from her.

She stood up and teleported directly to Ireland. Odin helped Lugh up and he told the god a warning.

"They are all going to die Lugh."

"What? How?"

"What I did not tell you is that Kurayami has one backer we cannot ever mess with."

"Who?"

"His mate, Ophis."

When he heard that he screamed at the gods to stop.

"STOP IT YOU FOOLS! OPHIS WILL KILL US ALL IF YOU DON'T!"

They scoffed at his stupid threat and in the end just before they were finished they felt the feeling of pure dread assaulted their souls. They were gods, but they now knew what Lugh said had been the truth.

They slowly turned around and saw Ophis who's eyes looked like a black abyss. They were more emotionless than usual and when she spoke it was like Hell froze over. Her tone was so dark and devoid of life that the gods were paralyzed.

"You tried to take him from me. He is mine. How dare you try to take him from me?"

The goddess who instigated the whole thing felt nothing but pure dread at seeing how angry Ophis was. She tried to come up with any excuse she could think of, but before she could say anything Ophis raised her hand toward her and blasted her into oblivion.

For the first time she restrained her power as she did not want to accidently destroy the Land of Shadows. She did not know what would happen to her mate and she was not ready to loose him.

These fools tried to take him from her and for that she would kill them all. She was far from done as she gazed at Odin asking him what happened. He tried to find a way to at least keep a few alive and yet he found no way.

"Ophis, Lugh did not try to seal your mate. It was those fools, but have mercy on them."

"No."

She turned toward the offenders and behind her a giant dragon like serpent coiled around her which was the representation of her unrestrained dragon force. Her very rage was shaking the world and every pantheon held their breath the moment her anger was unleashed.

She had only ever fought Great Red at 100% once and her lack of common sense made her think she could never beat him. She did not train, she did not plan, but tried to raise someone who could do it for her.

After spending so long with her mate and his wives she learned that the other girls of her Kurayami were training and getting stronger. While she had not trained at all this taught her a important lesson.

She would have to train for both her mate's sake and her own as she could not rely on him forever. In the Land of Shadows Kurayami and Shin fell to their knees as his eyes started to bleed silver purple blood.

That was the effect the blood he had in his body awakening from the influence of Ophis. His fallen angel bloodline was being used as the dominant bloodline, but at the same time the dragon bloodline was stronger.

Which is why it was taking him so long to assimilate her bloodline, but that would be better in the long run for him. The moment Ophis' mentality changed the Infinite in his body was stimulated and power was growing in power.

As she viewed him as her mate and the only being she had shared her power with when she grew stronger so did he and vise versa. As she was stronger than him the effect he had on her was minimal, but in the future that would change. In just one wave of her hand all the offending gods were destroyed that not even a speck of them remained.

She gazed at the sky as the moment her power was fully unleashed Great Red attention was drawn. She could feel him looking at her right now, and the intent to fight her right now.

For the first time his attention was drawn to someone and yet she did something that she would never have done if she had not met Kurayami. She restrained her power and she gave up as if she fought him now the world would be destroyed.

This was the home of her Mate and it had become a place she no longer disliked. Great Red noticed and he snarled before going back into the depths of the dimensional gap annoyed his time was wasted.

Ophis squinted her eyes before she gazed back at the Land of Shadows. She waved her hand and cut open large slashes into it, but she kept a small amount of her power to keep the undead inside. She was not stupid and knew that the dead would cause trouble.

She trusted Kurayami and when she gazed at Lugh who was barely restraining his anger as Odin was holding him back. They may have been fools, but those fools were still his fellow gods.

Their was zero chance of their return, his anger was also directed to Odin, but most importantly he could not blame anyone. They had dug their own grave and now they would have to lie in it, but they could not even do that.

Not even a spark of their divinity remained, this was the end of the Celtic Pantheon and the Norse would take over their sphere of influence at Ophis's order. She did not like Odin anymore than she liked other gods, but he was useful to Kurayami.

She sat down on a rock and waited for Kurayami and the others to come out. In side the Land of Shadows he was finally back to normal as he had managed to calm down the [INFINITE] in his body he felt his connection with Ophis get even stronger.

While Akeno was helping him stand up after Ophis' outburst.

"Brother, are you ok. What happened? Your glasses shattered and your eyes started to bleed."

He closed his eyes and focused on his connection with Ophis to talk to her.

'Ophis, what happened? You were pissed.'

'Bad gods tried to seal you away. They are all dead now, are you proud of me?'

He could just imagine her happy look on her face as she asked for his approval. It was like she thought he was the stronger one with how loving she was. He smiled and gave her what she wanted.

'I am very proud of you my love. You did well.'

Outside Lugh and Odin got one of the most shocking things in their live. The large and happy smile on her face as she was absolutely giddy with joy that she managed to help her mate and lover.

'Ophis can you find Natsume in the realm of shadows from the outside?'

She looked inside the realm of shadows and looked around the entire realm better than Kurayami could and he found her and Scathach who were still in her cave as Natsume spoke about the outside world and Scathach told her a small bit about this world.

Ophis noticed that Scathach had no drive and told Kurayami about her.

"Found Natsume. She is with some woman."

"Some woman? Who is she?"

"Don't know. She is strong."

Kurayami was interested, but at the moment he had more pressing matters to deal with.

"Ok, I see you soon Ophis. I got a reward for you."

She perked up and had two different things she thought it might be. A mating marathon or some sweets made by Erina. What ever it was she wanted to see it already.

In the Land of Shadows Kurayami and the other groups regrouped again as he teleported them together as they got ready to go the center of the dimension.

Here the strongest of the dead which could give a challenge to even a powerful god. Not only that he would meet a very interesting woman which might have the best part about this whole place.
