Cat Toys

"It'll be quick." Fern turns to Doggy and they both run out. Looks like he's already spotted another one. I decided to trust them both, as they're both very capable. I think? Well, Fern seems capable and Doggy seems like he can handle himself. I think? I hope. I sit back down and watch them fight from afar.

"Shhh." Fern was intending to sneak up on the Rambit that was in the bushes. All that I could see of it was a little bit of their puffed tail. A couple white strands in a densely packed bush. Of course, Fern would notice something small like that hidden. Doggy was following Fern well, and the both of them were quietly inching over towards it. Being careful not to step on something loud and crunchy.

"Hmm, I guess I could use this time to look through my bag some more." Shiver and Silk are both still lounging in the grass. Meanwhile, I decided to look inside my item bag because there were some interesting looking items in it earlier.

The menu that's pulled up in front of my eyes looks like a simple scrolling screen. The scrolling bar however seems to go on forever. I'll have to look at more of the things in there later. For now my focus is looking through what's listed at the top. Which seems to be more of the important items, among them is [Starter Kit Sword] described as a sword created through the energy of the World. It has added stats to it, that probably enhance my stats. Strength +10 and after that is listed as 'Magic'. Each of the starter kit items have a different amount of added stats to them, but otherwise they look similar to each other along the menu.

Underneath those listed as a Starter Kit, are some listed as being part of the Kitty Kit. [Kitty Kit: Cat Laser], [Kitty Kit: Scratcher], [Kitty Kit: Mouse Chase Mat], [Kitty Kit: Kitty Wheel] and [Kitty Kit: Cat Treats]. They each have an informing description included. I'll go over a bit of those later. For now, I just want to hold them and see if I can get the kitties to use them or not.

I pull out the three listed at the bottom, these caught my eye earlier. The Cat Laser looks to be just a normal laser, but when I turned it on even Fern and Doggy seemed to pay attention to it. They both looked over in the midst of their fight, seemingly confused. Oops.

"Sorry, I was just testing it out." They both went back to fighting with the Rambit. It looked like it was running out of stamina quickly, both Fern and Doggy are capable of fighting for a long time so the fight could last as long as they wanted it to.

I check out the Cat Scratcher next and put it next to Shiver and Silk. Shiver gets up and uses it, carefully scratching at it's material.

Ooo, so it's used like a training toy. I guess their stats can get higher. But Shiver shortly stopped using it after just 3 points were added. They probably don't intend to use it all day. Silk doesn't even get up, opting to just laze away. That's life, right there. Just laying down, relaxing in the sun. Shiver lays back down so I grab the next one.

"Treats? Do you guys need to eat?" I look over at Shiver and Silk. I guess they probably do, if not then that'll be less expenses for them.

"We like to eat but I don't think we get hungry necessarily. I guess we get fed through being around you, or something." Shiver is intelligent for a reason, she easily guesses things through her own built up logic. ('It makes sense so it's probably that.')

"So I wonder what the use of these are then?" I check the notepad in case I'll get information.

Kitty Kit: Cat Treats

Treats can be used to tame other cats or summon more cats. Check your summoning points to see more information.

Ah, so this is how I could summon more of my kitties. I'll pass on that for now. I want to get this dozen leveled up a bit, and get a house before I summon anymore. It seems like the treats are infinite as well, so I should be able to tame as many as I want. Did he really custom make these skills? He seems to have a lot of time on his hands to do all this. He even made me custom 'world' gear, I'm guessing they're extremely powerful. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should really sell those two pieces or not. I could probably just opt out of it before the auction starts. I doubt Rodrick would be too upset. But do I really plan to make a farm or mine ores? Like I said, it's not Catcraft.
