The End of An Era

{ Shikamaru POV}

I stayed for an hour reading the book that I got from the game, and the jest of it is that I need a better Chakra Control, and I need to practice calligraphy.

There's an instruction on how to make storage seal, and how you can make it with a password, how to break other people seals, and why do seals work the way they do.

How to make improvements on existing seals, but everything is in general, theoretical and nothing is practical except for the beginner storage seal, and even that I need much better Chakra Control to do it right .

Chakra Control exercises are the tree walking and the water walking, and then you're on your own, you have to practice wasting less Chakra in other techniques, if you have a better Chakra Control then you can do most Jutsus with less hand signs. Hand signs are meant to focus your Chakra better, but that will be later.

Now I need to start tree walking exercise, and then I can go home.

{General POV}

Shikamaru stayed until it was dark practicing tree walking, he can do the exercise without a problem, but to perfect it you need to do without delay, so he jumped from tree to tree, sometimes his feet would leave a mark when he jumps, and that was a sign of wasting Chakra.

By the time Shikamaru arrived home, he was exhausted, he ran out of chakra twice, his mother was happy at the sight and his father raised his eyebrow questioning him why did he look like this.

Before his mother starts talking, Shikamaru went to his father " I decided to learn Fuinjutsu since it seems the least troublesome, but my Chakra Control is not good enough"

Shikaku immediately put things together and smirked, he knew that his son wouldn't want to workout for nothing, and now that he choose to learn something new, he will have to study more, but will workout less in the long run.

And his wife looked so brokenhearted, she thought that her son finally started to be more active and less lazy, but he is just practicing to be lazy. But Shikaku gave her a look, that meant ' leave it be at least he is learning something useful and watching the clouds' .

At another part of the Village Mizuki was sitting with his fiancee, " you need to leave tomorrow morning, say that you're going to visit a friend outside the village, head to this place, you will find lord Orochimaru there, and wait for me" .

" Mizuki are you sure that you will be safe, what if something happens and you need me"

" I'll be fine, it's a quick job, I will avenge your family before coming back to you as fast as I can" .

Both stayed hugging each others for the rest of the night, and making sure that they both know what their job is.

Naruto Uzumaki woke up late but that is normal for him, as he was getting ready to go to school he thought ' I will show them that I am a better ninja than that duck-ass haired bastard, then I'm going to be the hokage believe it' .

Naruto did not have a good life, he doesn't have many friends, and he believes that he will be a Hokage, he doesn't know what that means except that it will make people love and respect him .

As the day passed by Naruto arrived at school, he didn't understand why must he study, it was all useless to him, they didn't teach any cool Jutsu, and what does math have to do with being a Hokage anyway.

At the end of the school, Mizuki-sensei asked to speak to him in private, so he waited for Mizuki at a Ramen stand near the school. When Mizuki arrived, Naruto said " what is it Mizuki-sensei, you said that this was important"

" Naruto I know that you want to be Hokage and I believe in you, but to be Hokage you must be strong, so I will teach you a super secret Ninjutsu, but you can't tell anyone, and don't make any noise, if people found out that I'm teaching you this secret Ninjutsu we will be in big trouble"

Naruto eyes teared a little and nodded his head " I will not let you down sensei, I will be the best Hokage believe it " his voice cracked at the end, this is the first time someone believed in him, Naruto didn't want to let him down.

{ Sasuke, 3rd POV}

Sasuke day was like any other day, he woke up at dawn, then he trained, then he took a bath, then he had breakfast and went to school.

Sasuke hates coming to school, he believes that it's holding him back, he is the top of his class and always gets the best marks. And the school is full of slackers and idiots, they don't know what it means to be a ninja.

But he must endure, all of this so he can take his revenge on his brother, he dreams about that night almost daily, that is why he had a ridiculous training schedule.

Today school was the same as any other, fangirls fought for his attention, the Akimich munched on his food non-stop, the Nara slept, the idiot pair of Kiba Inuzuka and Naruto Uzumaki bickered , Shino Aburame is just there, and the Hyuuga looks nervous all the time.

But before school ends Mizuki-sensei gave him a note in secret, Sasuke guessed that it must be something that he can't let other people know about, so he made sure that nobody followed him and went inside an empty classroom, and opened it, it said

[ I have information about Itachi, I am not supposed to tell you, but I know what you're going through, so I have to help you, meet me at the forest behind your clan compound and I will give you some answers

P.S burn the note, I'll get in so much trouble if people found out. ]

Sasuke whole body started to shake in anger, rage and fury, but he remembered to burn the note. All the way to his home Sasuke was trying to think what this information was. He couldn't eat or sleep, he made his way to the meeting place six hours earlier, and trained until he became exhausted and then rested for a bit and trained some more.

{Mizuki POV}

Today was my big day, after today Lord Orochimaru will grant me power. I made sure that my fiancee is gone after packing most of her stuff in storage seal scrolls I sent her on her way.

After teaching both of my targets for a while, I knew how to get them to come to me without rising suspicion. To the demon child I had to talk with him for a bit and promise him a cool Ninjutsu, and the Uchiha was easier, just a note that promises him information about his brother and he left school to the meeting point without me being seen with him .

I told Naruto to wait for me at a place far away from where I'm meeting Sasuke, but close enough that I can go between them in two minutes.

{General POV}

Close to midnight Naruto is excited, he never felt so good about himself, he was finally recognized for something, after all the hardships that he had to go through he is ready for something good in his life.

Naruto was basing back and forth in the meating point, waiting for Mizuki to show up he didn't hear the sound from the tree above him .

As he was thinking 'With this new Jutsu I will beat Sasuke and Sakura will definitely go out with me...' Naruto didn't finish his thoughts, his eyes rolled back and he fell down, revealing Mizuki behind him .

Mizuki didn't talk to the demon child but did what Orochimaru ordered him to do, he assassinated Naruto, killed him with one kunai at the base of the skull where the medulla meets the spine killing him instantly.

To make sure that he is dead Mizuki stabbed him once through the head and twice through the heart for good measure, and then he bolted out of there.

As Mizuki got close to Sasuke, he found him hitting a tree, he looked exhausted, Mizuki smiled, he did the same thing that he did earlier but with the back of the kunai, Sasuke was paralyzed momentarily, Mizuki then drugged him to make sure that he stays a sleep for the journey and ran out of the Village through a route mentioned to him in Orochimaru letter.

{Nara Clan Main House, General POV}

Shikamaru woke up to a loud knock on the door, he didn't know what it was but he was on his feet reaching for a kunai he had on his dresser. As his brain began to catch up to his body Shikamaru noticed that it was still dark outside, 'hey Game what time is it', a display came up 4:28 , he heard his parents coming out of there room.

Shikaku Nara was having a good dream when the knock came, he just opened his eyes immediately all the sleep gone and replaced by an alertness that only veteran can have, his body internal clock told him that it's about four thirty, and that meant bad news

He got up and put a yukata (a dress robe) and went out of his room, leaving his wife to follow him. On his way down he heard his son open his door and coming down with him, he looked back and gave him a nod that said it's okay he could come .

When he opened the door he found an anbu waiting by the door, Shikaku became more alert and said "report" , the anbu nodded " the Hokage ordered a meeting in thirty minutes, Sasuke Uchiha has been kidnapped and the jinchuuriki was killed", it took Shikaku all of his years not to react to the statement and gave a nod as the anbu disappeared from there.

Turning back Shikaku found his son shocked, he knew that his son didn't know who the jinchūriki is, but he knew the Uchiha "I will be going early, I will talk with you later"

Shikamaru understood his father message 'don't ask, i won't give you answers right now' and went up to his room.

Shikaku on the other hand was thinking of the possibility of who can be the one behind this, the list of people who would do this is long, but those who could is shorter, he changed fast, thinking of the implications of this, The kyuubi will come after the village, it's just a matter of time, he didn't know how long it will take for the Kyuubi to reform his body but he knows that it will, with those thoughts he arrived at the Hokage Tower.

Shikamaru greeted his mother on his way to his room and she gave him a sleepy reply. Back on his room Shikamaru asked 'Game do you know what is going on, who is the jinchūriki and what does that ever means'

( Yes player, Jinchūriki is someone who have one of the tailed beasts 'bijuu' sealed inside of them, as for their identity, you will find out in the morning) .

Shikamaru immediately thought of kyuubi the nine tails demon, they told them rhat it was dead, that the fourth Hokage killed it and died in the process. But it seems that it was sealed inside some, Shikamaru couldn't go back to sleep, so he sat down and started to think of this Jinchūriki identity.
