The School Bully | Chapter 1, Page 2

(7:55) Me - No it wasn't awkward, new. But not awkward, and my name is Hunter. Hunter Stone.

After reading his message, I open my closet and start pulling out my school uniform while at the same time trying to keep myself warm, I put my clothes on with the most noticeable shiver of a life time, it was like an earthquake was happening inside my own body.

I turn to look at my attire in the beaming mirror. Looking up and down probably like five times I finally establish that I look somewhat high-school-like, I was practically the school nerd and to be honest the school loner to add onto that.

*Knock Knock*

I quickly grabbed my phone and turned the lights out as I swiftly and carefully ran down stairs hoping not to slip. I see a figure outside from the glass curve around the door, but not able to see who it is as it's the obscured glass type.

I turn around to the couch where I saw my mother sleeping last night, the couch looked like it was not even sat on as the duvet is already back in the corner, pillows put back in their original place.

I get the keys from the side table bowl and unlock the door to the sight of a miniature looking baby type kid.

It was Thomas, my 'ex' best friend, that I remember from when I was like ten. And I say 'I' because he was 2 years younger than me so he was in a grade below me. And I never saw him after my 11th birthday as I moved due to my dad and mom having to be closer to their works. I mean it was a good thing in some words as the hospital was a five minute walk tops.-

Meanwhile being rudely dragged out of my mind thought and been shaken into reality with a very strong shaky hug.

"I m-missed you so much Hunter!" He exclaimed. Pretty sure he started tearing up in the process.

I pulled away. "No sobbing now, I don't want to look like I just got out of the shower in my clothes." I said to Thomas nodding and maturing back up from his sobbing-self.

"..Y-our wearing school clothes?" He looked at me with a questioned look trying to hold painful laughing fit.

I looked him straight into his eyes and just gave him a deathly look before smacking the back of his head.

"Ow!"

"Don't make fun of me, my grades are slipping and I don't want to go to summer school thanks very much." I stated, fixing myself making myself look smart.

"Pfft! You. Summer school, you could probably graduate school early known you, what are your grades now? A+? Don't you think that's good enough." He looked at me surprised

"A minus if you really want to know. And yes I could graduate early. I could've graduated last year, but I need to finish school properly otherwise I won't feel that I have actually finished it myself. And besides school is something to do when I'm bored or have nothing to watch on Netflix." I replied

"Getting back on track we're gonna be late, so you go to my school now or one nearby and you just wanted to come and see me again?" I added.

"Um.. Phoenix High?" He said as his grin turned to a frown thinking he wasn't in the same school as I was."

I just nodded, as I pulled him down the street as we were walking to school. I hear a car slowly approaching us from behind I gave a quick glance over my shoulder to make sure that Thomas wasn't worried. I realise who is driving trying to squint a better look as the reflective sun was blaring right in my eyes from the wind-screen. It was Alex!

I just stopped right in my path and jolted Thomas back almost falling over. The car was now next to us and the window was slowly going down.

"Hi stranger." Alex grinned, I was standing next to Thomas with my backpack in my other hand and scratching the back of my neck with the other awkwardly.

"You know who he is Hunt—" Thomas questioned, I nodded which made him stop his sentence.

"Wanna lift?" Alex asked with the most cheekiest grin.
