Chapter 38
“Cool?” Damien rolled his eyes. “Reliving your teenaged years.”
Lyle’s reply was a raised middle finger, followed by the suggestion they go home as Damien had to work the following day.
It was well after ten when they walked into Lyle’s apartment. Now all Damien had to do was come up with a reason to stay that didn’t involve their going to bed together. It was too soon for that, in his estimation. Apparently Lyle felt the same because, after they got rid of their outerwear, he flopped down on the sofa, looking at Damien in expectation.
“You want something?” Damien asked, settling at the other end.
“Yes. To cuddle for a few minutes before you take off.”
“Only a few?” Damien slid over, putting his arms around Lyle.
“Any more I might try to take advantage of you, which would not be a good idea, yet.”
