Liberation: Age of Aron

Firstly, yes I know this is my WSA entry but another reason I wrote this is to preach the phrase disability is not a limitation. Many have been denied reality because of how they are, some have even been denied themselves. But Hey? Reality is just a plane of existence that you define, this might be a fantasy novel but just like the MC that found comfort and himself in a virtual world(a game) your virtual world could be anything you hold dear, hang unto to, clench your fist and don't let it go, let no one define what hope is for you. False hope is a false hope the moment you deem it so, until then it is HOPE and COMFORT! This is the journey of a boy that refused reality and sought a reality for himself. With the launch of the first-ever virtual reality world where even pain could be felt. Leon was allowed to see what the way he couldn't in reality. Age Of Aron is a virtual reality game that was created with a composition of artificial intelligence, with each part able to make decisions best for the development of the world. A world that inclined itself with reality itself: A game so enchanting that when dived too deep into it could overlap the player's sense of true reality. Leon was given a golden chance to herald a path, whatever that path would be, however it would be was now based on him and the people around him. Join BLINDSAGE(Leon) on his journey to liberation in the magnificent and prodigious world where nothing is impossible, read and follow closely how all forces of existence conform to the will of his character and the magnitude of his compassion for the existences that others like him consider synthetic. The Stranger

Leon moved out of the capsule and unto his bed, he was quite used to the setting in his room so it wasn't difficult. He laid softly, running his hand on the bed to make sure he wasn't about to lay on anything dangerous. Not that he was used to leaving dangerous things on his bed, it was just a knack his nasty brothers had.

He lay on the bed as he confirmed it was safe. He closed his white eyeballs and began to wonder.

'What in heaven's name happened. I died without even catching a moment to see what killed me. Now I have to stay in this hell for twelve hours.' He sighed and rolled over only to be greeted by a bundle of needles that were buried on the far end of his bed.

He let out a pain cry.

He was beginning to bleed in different parts of his body, even though it was subtle, it still hurt.

-step-

-step-

-step-

-creak-

His door opened,

"Brother, don't you know you are disturbing the peace of this mansion with that shout of yours?" A tall, brown-haired boy said. He was Leon's immediate older brother, barely two years difference.

"Lennis, did you put needles in my bed?"

"And so what, I needed to dispose of them and your bed was looking like the right place to throw trash. Look at how unkempt your room is, I could as well just turn your room into a trash room."

"I am blind Lennis, how do you expect me to know if my room is well kept or unkept? Isn't that the job of the aide, and the last aide I had you were the one that told father to fire her since you claim she tried seducing you to tarnish the family image when you were the one that raped her?"

-Slap-

Lennis landed a slap on Leon's face.

"That right there is why I hate you. You see everything, but instead of you to keep quiet, you always have the guts to spill it to my face. That gut is why I hate you. Using your blindness as an excuse to be better than the rest of us."

"I don't understand why you are insecure about a blind boy"

"Shut up!"

-SLAP!-

He slapped Leon again and was about to start beating him when their older brother entered.

"Hey, Lennis!! Have you run mad!!" He shouted as he rushed and dragged Lennis off Leon and outside of Leon's room.

After a while of silence, Leon buried his face into his pillow and sobbed hard.

....Kont'el...

Leon logged in with a wide smile on his face, he raised his eyes to the sky as the sunlight kissed his cheeks. "I can never trade this feeling for anything," he said and looked around. The street was more devastating than the last time he saw it. The stalls were scattered and destroyed, shops were closed. He walked down the streets and to the barracks. The barracks were also empty.

"This is rather weird." He said as he opened his character profile and contacted Greta. He typed:

=> Hello Greta.

=>...

=>...

=> Hello sir

=> Aren't you in Kont'el, the streets looks unusual...

=> Kont'el? What are you doing in Kont'el?

=> What do you mean? I've not even started proper training with Knight Barrister yet.

=> ??? dude! Sorry... sir? where have you been?

=> Something weird happened, some guy knocked me down two days ago and I died before I could even realise I had been hit.

=> Knight Barrister got arrested by the Royal knights from the capital, for sheltering a rebel. The whole of Kont'el defended him, and the royal Knights showed no mercy, what you see is a result of that.

=> I don't understand, how can so much happen in just two days of my absence.

=> I don't know, but I'll send you the coordinates to Knight Barrister's home. Probably you can find something.

=> Thanks.

Leon concluded and closed the chat and after some minute received the coordinates which were map navigation to where Knight Barrister lives. It was a long long journey away from the main town and sat right on the outskirts of Kont'el, it was easy to tell that as Leon reached the old wooden house that was so unlikely of a Knight.

The door creaked as he entered. He looked around, the whole place was scattered, the chairs had been turned over, and the tables and stools were broken as if someone was looking for something. He inspected every bit of the house down to his room, where he found a chest containing rare-grade items.

Leon looked at himself in the mirror and loved how he looked, that was when he noticed his golden-honey eyes.

"Ha, no wonder they kept saying that, it probably has something to do with my race,...I would need a way to not stand out, I'll check later if it's possible to dye it black."

-step-

He heard sharp and quick footsteps and immediately grabbed the claymore sword that was standing beside the chest. He ran outside to the living room, a guy in a black cloak saw and immediately dashed outside, without wasting a second he followed.

-SLAM-

The man slammed the door against his head but instead of celebrating the pain on his forehead, he smashed the door open with his legs again and ran outside, thus beginning his pursuit of the man in black cloak into the woods.

'That guy, I'm sure of it, he was the one that killed me!'

The space that was between him and the man kept widening and he was seeing that in a few more minutes he was going to lose the man he grabbed from his inventory the small sword he received at the sea of skies and focused his gaze on the man.

[Passive skill: Acute sight synthesis is in use]

The man's movement slowed down before Leon's eyes, he threw the small sword not at the man but into the space right beside the man as he calculated that the small sword was going to catch the man's next arm movement. As the small sword left his hand, he ran faster than he ever did and leapt upon a tree, throwing himself at the man.

The man who was running, stopped, turned back and parried the dagger away with his sword, he belatedly looked up and by the time he realised Leon was falling on him, it was too late to act.

-Thud-

Leon landed on him.

[You have lost 7 health points]

'Ah shit I forgot about that

"Who are you?! How did you know Knight Barrister? Don't tell me you are the rebel that got him in trouble" Leon said, lying down on him and pinning his hand to the ground.

"Get off me"

"...?" 'A feminine voice'

That was when he belatedly noticed that his hands could feel something, but he had just thought that the man was giving to a lot of exercises. Even though he was blind, he had played one or two hentai games based on his gaming friends' recommendation, so his hand remembered the feel and when the issue of the scandal happened he was also opportuned to know how touching a breast feels.

He belatedly got up, "I thought you were a guy, my bad," he said, looking down and having a red face.

The lady stood up and put down her hood, she had scarlet hair and eyes. Instead of her name, all Leon could see above her was ???, to his knowledge which meant;

'Either she's a very high-level player/NPC or she's using an item that hides her name'

"By your desperation, you seem close to Barry, what's your name?" The lady asked.

"I'm Leon and yes, I'm his student"

"Student?"

"Yes"

"Moonlit Swordsmanship?"

"Yes, but how do you know?" Leon asked, with an expression of doubt.

"Because I taught him"
