“Stop walking. We need to talk to you.” Amir still stayed quiet but Gabriel didn’t seem like he could keep his cool with the way he hurried after Nathaniel who was about to climb the stairs. “Chloe, excuse us for a minute.”
“Why should she be excused?” Nathaniel sent him a glare and Gabriel sighed.
“Very well then. I need you to explain to me why of all things you could have offered to Anderson, the Axion deal was your offer.”
Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, Nathaniel said with a calm voice, “I know what I am doing guys. Trust me.”
Gabriel almost laughed. “Trust you? Do you even remember how many nights of sleep we lost because of that very deal?” It was so unusual to see Gabriel so angry and frustrated. Even his veins were strained against his neck as he gesticulated through his anger.
“Even you,” he pointed at the calm man, “worked so hard to secure it, but now you do what? Offer it to our number one rival? What else could be madness if not that?”
