Summer Outing (3)

The two ladies entered the room assigned to them and Zoey lay down to her bed.

"Geez. I thought that I'd be alone into this room. What happen to you?"

"Goodness! Shit happens. I overslept and missed all your calls. I'm sorry. I was too excited last night that makes me sleep at almost three in the morning. I didn't even hear my alarm. Good thing, Nickel had a meeting and he asked me to come with him if I still want to join here."

"Is that so. Anyway, I let you settle first. After you finish your business, go down and participate in our games. You already miss a lot of happenings Alcantara."

May left Zoey in their room to let her settle and went back to the activity hall where she left her staffs to facilitate the activities. Zoey changed into something summery before she shows herself to the crowd. Everyone's jaw drops after seeing a girly yet seductive Zoey descending the stairs. She wears a long summer gown with a flowery headband. She indeed prepared for this.

"Gosh! Ma'am Zoey is like an angel in her outfit."

"Did she break a bone? When she fell from the sky?"

"OMG! I envy her so much! I really need to eat healthy now and take care of myself."

Murmurs of praises surround the activity hall, even the hosts lost their attention when they saw this scene-stealer, Zoey.

"Wow! Ma'am Zoey is indeed a show stopper." Commented by the male host. He cannot stop himself praising the lovely lady before his eyes. Even the female host agreed with him and said, "This is what I called the dress to impress the lady manager of the accounting department." Accounting staffs rejoiced when their manager has arrived.

The groupings assigned were as follows:

Accounting and IT departments were in GROUP A

Manufacturing and Engineering departments were in GROUP B

Administration and HR departments were in Group C

Group C is leading and Group B is next.

Zoey's arrival boosts the competitive spirit of her staff, they are all eager to win the next race. IT Department also got energized from her arrival. And because all the members of IT department were all males, they silently praying that if the next game is in pairs, they will try their luck and ask her to their partner.

At the back of the hall, Nickel who quietly sitting and drinking his buko juice senses that all these parasites were thinking the same thing.

"Now that everyone has arrived, our next game is a by pair game called Combo Trouble." Said the male host.

Alas their prayers have been heard, said all IT members. Although everyone is rejoicing with the next race, it is the IT department who cheered the most.

"Hold your horses, boys. You haven't won yet." Commented by the female host.

"Each team is required to have four pairs, either any combination do you prefer. Each pair will be tied up on their knees and waists and will wear a sack of rice. They have to all the obstacles prepared by our team; they have to pass that pole over there and return to your original post and tag the next pair. The winner of this race will get fifty points and a surprise gift at the end of the day."

Each group gathered around and decides which pairs to select. And because Zoey hasn't played any game yet, it became a unanimous decision that she will be one of the pairs in this Combo Trouble.

"And because Officer Zoey is our newest recruit, she will join this game and bring home the bacon for us." Said one the acting leader of the group. Male members from both accounting and IT departments compete with each other's to be her partner. All of them tried their luck, but it was the IT Officer who is selected to be Zoey's pair. "Let's give it to Officer Carl, he hasn't played a game too."

Each pair stands side by side and introduced their selves to their partners. Even though both officers knew each other by name and face. They are not that acquainted with one another. "Hi! I'm Carl Rodriguez." Carl offered his hand to Zoey, who gladly accepted him and shakes her hand.

'Wow! Your hand is so soft' Carl thought he said to himself but he unconsciously said it out load and Zoey vaguely heard the entire sentence. "Pardon?" She asked.

"It's nothing. Will you comfortable playing with her long dress?" Zoey's dress is an ankle length dress and she was wearing alligator sandals on her feet.

"Oh! You mean this?" Zoey is a one and a half reckless girl to start with because she un-maliciously stripping off in front of everyone. She is indeed a showstopper. Underneath her dress is denim short and a backless top. Her long dress was actually a malong turned into a dress to cover her up.

Everyone was once again stopped by Zoey's actions. Some of them even thought that it is probably their luckiest day because their prim and proper lady manager was started stripping off before their very eyes.

Zoey's fair complexion brightens up their day and even Nickel who was sitting behind got choked from his drink after seeing her.
