After leaving everything behind, Zoey needs to go home and face all she have left. She thought time can heal all wounds but after reuniting with her friends, she has to face her mortal nemesis as well as her ex boyfriend. Little did she know that there is a guy who is watching her from a far that will help her mend her shuttered heart. --- To: America Message: You know what? Reply: Earl it's easy to say but hard to do. Yes! We've been considering each other as best of friends but why did she decide to believe other people's hearsay? For their seven years of friendship, Zoey could say that America is a hard-headed person. Zoey pretended to be someone just to have a decent conversation with her. All she wanted was to know the truth. It started when one of her classmates saw both America and Michael, Zoey's boyfriend, at the mall. At first, when she heard about this, she thought that what was the deal of seeing them? What if they were buying some stuff together? She naïvely thought that it would be better than her best friend was on good terms with her boyfriend. In that way, she can help and understand them if they were fighting. But all of those thoughts disappeared in an instance when her classmate showed her a picture wherein they caught in the act of kissing and holding each other's hands while buying Cinema Tickets. She dialed America's phone number and tried to ask where she was last weekend when someone saw them together. America answered her calmly, "I was at home sleeping. Why? You knew that Mom was mad at me, and I grounded and forbad going outside last weekend, right?" After she had heard her reply, she thought that her response was like a big slap on her face; she knew that she was lying because her friend's evidence was authentic. The photo has a date on it, and it was impossible for anyone to edit or change the said photo because she used a film camera. Zoey thought of it before she called Michael and asked the same question. After Michael had answered her phone call and heard her question, his forehead instantly covered with cold sweat. Did Zoey found out about them? He tried to calm himself first before answering, "Babe I've told you that Dad was still mad at me and ordered me to stay at home and that was the reason I couldn't pick you up after your ballet lesson." Little did he know that his answer was exactly the same as what America has said to Zoey? Zoey started to have a doubt about them. After that week, Zoey found more about their illicit romance. They indeed are having an affair behind her. When most of her friends tried to convince to break it up with him, Zoey finally decided to do it. She then again called and asked him to meet her at the park near our village. When he arrived she immediately said, "Mike, let's end this." At that moment, she was already shredding her tears as she was asking him to end their relationship. Mike wanted to hold her hand but before he even had the chance to grab her left hand Zoey already stepped backward to avoid him. "Z I'm sorry. I know I'm wrong. I know I wronged you but please don't this to me. I was tempted, I seduced. I don't like nor love America. Babe, please don't say that." Who would have thought that Michael has the audacity to say that? Zoey was confused about what to believe; she didn't know if Michael was telling the truth or if it was another set of lies. But before she turned around and leaves, she took aback when she saw him kneeling and crying on the ground while asking for her forgiveness. She took them back her words.

OUR HOME

The girls agreed to his proposition and started making the dolls. And because it will take time, he just asked them if it okay to return to pick them out this afternoon before he goes home.

The girls agreed with great delight as he also asked for their business cards.

Last night.

Michael stayed and waited for Zoey to finish her thing before he executed his plan. For him, there is no way of returning; he needs to do something to make Zoey stay beside him.

He thought that by taking her away would somehow make Nickel lost his interest to her. He planned to bring her far, far away from him.

As he saw her stepping out of the convenient store, he then attacks her by hitting her nape for her to lost her consciousness. He carried her into his car. At first, he didn't know where to go because other than his condo and their house, there is no place in the metro he knew they could stay. Up until he remembered that his maternal uncle just migrated abroad and left his house under his families care.

His uncle's home was far, far away from the metro as it was located at the northern part of the island. (For my foreign readers: the Philippines was divided into 3 islands; Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. In my story, Metro is the same as Manila and the island Michael was talking about is Luzon. Geographically speaking the place he was speaking was somewhere in Ilocos.)

It was a good place to stay and hide Zoey. After an almost three hours drive, they've reached his uncle's house. He carried Zoey inside and informs the caretaker to prepare two rooms for them. The caretaker didn't hesitate to comply for his command, as he already knew whom Michael is and also he thought that Zoey was just sleeping and he didn't want to wake her up after a long drive.

As he was setting her into the head, her phone fell out of her pocket. Michael read Nickel's messages and let it left unanswered.

The next day.

Zoey was still unconscious from the attack she received from him. Michael watched her sleep until her phone starts ringing. It was Alfie for goodness sake. He forgot that aside from Nickel, there was an Alfie he needs to be taken care off.

From: Alfie

Message: Aren't you going down?

He remembered that he didn't saw his driver entire yesterday and it was Alfie whose been driving her around. Maybe Alfie is waiting for her today, Michael left the message unanswered but after a few minutes, Alfie sent her another message saying that if she won't go down any minute, he will barge inside her unit and drag her down.

Michael panicked from his declaration and decided to respond.

Reply: Alfie, I'm sick. I will skip work today, sorry.

Alfie bought his alibi and reassured him that Zoey will be fine alone in her room.

Later that afternoon, Zoey slowly gain herself and realized that she was in an unfamiliar place. When she was about to move her hands, she found out that it was both tied up along the pillars of the bed the same goes with her legs.

Panic begins to cover her body so she starts screaming for help. Unfortunately, Michael's uncle's house was within a hectare of land and the nearest neighbor that they had was kilometers away from the main mansion.

Michael heard her screams and attended her needs. He thought that she was just in shock and that her emotion will subside once she realized that she was with him.

Zoey was frightened from all the possibility of her situation as she was in deep thought about her feeling that there was someone watching or following her, the door of the door slowly opens and there he saw the man standing. Zoey cannot comprehend the man's figure as the light at his back blinded her. She waited for him to reach the bedside before she tried to know who was he and what is his reason for kidnapping her.

"You okay? Zoey?" the man said.

Zoey knew that voice it was Michael.

"What the fuck?? What is this, Michael?" She angrily said.

Michael looked at her as if he was making her a favor, which made her even mad. "RELEASE ME!" she said.

"No, can you please stay there for one more day. I haven't finished preparing the house for us."

"What do you mean house? Release me and I want to go home."

Michael looked at her sternly and said, "No. This is your home. OUR HOME."

It was like Michael completely lost his sane.

I think, I'm on fire today. HAHAHAHAHA!
