One Possessive Director

The next day Zoey reached their office building on time, although she was just late on her self set time, she still timed herself in exactly at 8 am.

As usual, her desk is once again filled with reports she needs to check and analyze. Why is it the higher your position is, the greater your responsibilities will be? When she saw her desk, the only she can do is to scratch her nape and pretend to be optimistic that she can finish these papers on time within the day.

Before her butt landed on her chair, the door opens, Nickel, her boss, entered the room then place his messenger bag on his table.

Drowned with the book he is reading, he didn't notice that Zoey is currently checking him out.

"In fairness to this guy, his shoulder is as broad as the washboard Manang is using to wash her clothes when she was young." "Really? Zoey? Did you use a washboard to compare Nickel's board shoulders? Creative, I'm must say."

She was lecturing herself, when she also notices the way Nickel, push his hair back. At some point, she and Nickel have the same mannerism of pushing one's hair back.

Now, Zoey's bangs are long enough to be considered as one; she doesn't tuck her hair in with any hair clip as she used to when she chops her bangs on her own uses kitchen scissors.

It was due to her extreme boredom and addiction from Asian Drama wherein most of the female lead actresses pulled their unique bangs on screen. Because of that, she went to her bathroom, took the kitchen scissors and start cutting her own hair. She regretted it right away she saw the outcome of her experiment and later on promised not to cut her crowning glory again.

While staring at him, Zoey felt a mini shock when their eyes meet. 'Wait, what the fuck is that?' She asked herself.

Avoiding to further look into each other's eyes, Zoey shifted her gaze to the bookshelf behind Nickel. Soon the day for the two began.

Four hours had passed, a knock popped their concentration bubbles. A canteen employee is here to deliver their meal, he then said, "Ma'am and Sir, I'm here to bring your food."

He placed two bento containers on each table. After serving their meals, he excused himself and went back to the cafeteria.

A loud growling sound echoed the room from the two as soon as they smelled the delicious flavor of their bento, Nickel and Zoey suddenly felt hungry with the smell alone.

They set aside the papers on their desk and start consuming their lunch meal.

In the cafeteria.

Male and female employees were checking the cafeteria entrance door. Waiting for the arrival of their prince and goddess.

When the employees saw their COO, girls praised the heaven and earth for giving them the prince that they have wished for; also when the boys saw their Accounting Officer, they feel blessed to the extent that they become motivated to their jobs just have a glimpse of their goddess. Whilst the benefits and compensation in ASC are pleasing, this cannot be compared to the beauties the company has.

Unfortunately for them, one possessive director order to have a meal delivery every lunchtime to keep his BAE from everyone. He will not allow any disgusting fly to pester his babe.

Disappointed. Employees inside the cafeteria lost their appetites when they see that the two will not go down and have their meals in the cafeteria. With that, they just tried to finish their food and go back to their stations.

"I curse our officer for not wanting to share the same room with the accounting department. We lost the chance to see Ma'am Zoey all day long. It should be us!" One male employee from the IT Department said.

"Officer Liao should take this once in a lifetime opportunity to share the station with the administration department. I want to see Director Fuentes every day. He gives me the inspiration to live."

"I will be like a blooming flower, seeing Director Fuentes will ask as water to me, my source of life and happiness."

"Accounting and administrative staffs are such a lucky bastard. Can we ask for position rotation? I want to shift roles with anyone from Accounting Department."

It was just the second day of operation but employees were all bewitched by the charm of our couple. It was just the second operation day of ASC, but it seems like employees were all bewitched by our couple and motivated to go to work just to see these two.

Inside the manager's room of Station A.

Simultaneous sneezing can be heard in the room. Every time one sneeze the other will bless it.

"Did someone remember me?" Zoey asked herself while wiping herself with a tissue.

She finished her meal then throw the bento container in the trash bin. Before the day ends, the housekeepers take their trash. They don't have to worry about the smell it will leave overnight.

She starts what she left ago as she has no need time to dawdle for she has a lot of things to do.

Zoey was calculating and searching for supporting documents for her party reconciliation. When Nickel laid his eyes to her.

With no particular reason, he just loves the fact that they share the same room; the chance to see her, to talk to her.

Let us say that all of this is his plan, knowing that other officer feared him except for Zoey. He immediately called for a short meeting after the party.

Whereas seat assignment can be done on the first day itself, he still gathered the remaining officer on that day.

"Liao please assign each department now, thus on Monday, everything will be organized. I don't want to see to dillydally any department on Monday."

May startled when she heard his order, actually she expected to assign stations on Monday but now that the Director is asking to proceed it now, she cannot complain anymore.

With the use of her iPad, she opened the floor layout of the building.

"There are seven stations on the second floor, four of which are fully furnished and the three are still under construction.

Station A is big enough to accommodate two departments, Stations B, C, and D is for one department each."

She tried to show the floor layout and explain the arrangement she has, but...

"To be fair, as it the first organization that I supervise, I will allow you to pick whichever station you want." Nickel pause for a while and check the floor layout on May's iPad. "I want my administration department to be in Station A. Anyone of you can share it with me if you want."

As of now, ASC has only five organized departments. May and Zoey are the only female officer that they have.

IT and Engineering Officers think that it will be awkward for them to share the room with the COO, thus they picked the two separate stations.

As for May, she wanted to share but afraid to be around all the time with Director Fuentes. Say that she admires him, but she also fears his temper. To save herself from future homilies and errors, she also took the last separate room.

"So it looks like Zoey and her team will be sharing Station A with us."
