The promised that day

Sound of footsteps can be heard in the entire hallway. From slow pace to fast pace, like as if this person is being chase by a horse. The footstep stops in front of big door, with a deep sigh, he pushes the door wide open.

"My lady, please wake up, it's morning already"

He opens the big curtain and let the warmth of the sun fill the room. A groan can be heard from the bed and there, a lady with messy hair is laying. Rolling to the other side of the bed to hide her face and she acts like as if she hears no one. The poor butler sigh in disappointment, he walks toward the laying lady and tickle her, as hard as he can. Suddenly, the sleeping lady woke up, like as if she's being electrified.

"haha…st-stop!! I'm awake now!!"

He stops and help the poor lady to sit up. He looks at her with a big smile and he loves what he's seeing. A girl with messy grey hair, if other people see her, they will think she's crazy or weird but for him, she's the most beautiful woman he sees. He bows down and offer his hand to help the young lady to stand up.

"Hey Sylvan, what's today's breakfast?"

"My lady Cesia, today's breakfast is torta delle rose."

"Really? And what's today's filling?" the young lady asks while jumping in excitement. The butler stops combing her hair and replied.

"Today's filling is strawberry jam, your very favorite one"

"Yehey!" the young lady shout in excitement and she almost fall from her chair if not for her butler standing behind her. She hurriedly goes to the bathroom and do her morning rituals. After that, she wears one of her everyday dress and sit in front of the mirror and let her butler do her hair.

"Hey Sylvan, you're really good at doing my hair, are you sure you're not gay? Hehehe"

The butler coughs hard after hearing her remarks. He stops doing her hair and lean into her ear and whisper in a very low tone.

"Want me to prove that I'm not?"

Cesia feel like as if a thousand of electricity crawl into her body. She distances herself a little and avert her gaze from her butler.

"Hehehe, I'm just kidding." Sylvan sigh deep and continue to do her hair.

"Yes, I'm good at this but it doesn't mean I'm gay, besides you are the only one I do this."

After a few moments, he finished her hair. Sylvan offers his hand to guide Cesia to the dining hall. While walking in the hallway, small voices can be heard but Cesia and Sylvan don't give a thought about it. When they arrive at the dining hall, there, they saw a not that old men and women, eating in silence. They notice Cesia's presence but don't mind her at all. Sylvan help his young lady to sit and started to pick foods for her. Cesia started to eat and only the sound of clashing utensils can be heard. In the middle of their breakfast, the man who sits at the end of the table, the king, Cesia's father, clear his throat to get their attention.

"Ceal and Cytius will visit us today, so Cesia, you know what to do."

"Yes father, I understood."

After their 'family' breakfast, Cesia quickly stand up and Sylvan follow her steps. After a few steps, they arrive at the secret garden and there, she saw two tall figure. When she confirms that she knows those two, she started to run without minding her dress.

"Big brother!"

The two figure look behind and smile and catch Cesia and swirl around.

"Cesia! Be careful, you might hurt yourself if I didn't catch you!"

"But you did catch me big brother and I know you will catch me, right?"

"of course, me and Cytius will catch you whenever you fall."

Sylvan from behind sigh deep because of his Lady's action. He steps forward and stay behind Cesia's side. Ceal put Cesia down and let her sit at his lap. The small Cesia giggle in happiness, she misses so much her brothers, she can only see her in every 5 months and sometimes, more than 1 year. Both of his brothers are employed at the border part of the country, they're the one who's ruling that part. Cesia knows that her brothers work is hard that's why she always waits patiently at their return. She happily snuggles at her brother; they stay like that for a while. Ceal stand up and put Cesia down. Cesia stretch he arms and Ceal and Cytius laugh because her hair is a total mess.

"Big brother, let's go outside!"

"Sure, but we need to change our clothes, so that they won't know that we're royalty."

Cesia rush to her domain and so her brother. Sylvan also change his cloth and wait for his young master. Cesia got out from her room and she's wearing a green dress that only reaches her knee, it has a big ribbon at the back and has ruffles at the hem of the dress and her hair are in a bun. She still looks elegant even her clothing is simple. They rush to the garden and there, they saw the two brother wearing their casual clothes. The four of them still look so elegant even their clothes are simple, no, even if they wore rags, they're still going to be good looking. They pass a secret door which the four only know. When they arrive at the people's town, Cesia eyes sparkle in excitement, she can't step outside of the castle if her brothers are not home, that's why whenever her brothers at home, she requests if she can go outside with them. Cesia want to forget about her status in life and try to live a normal life.

"Big brother let's go there!"

"Cesia wait for us!"

The three men started to chase Cesia, who is running faster than them. Afternoon came, the four of them sit in front of the fountain, trying to chase their breath. They do a lot of things today, they buy desserts, bread and walk along the crowded streets.

"hah… I'm tired, let's stay like this for a while."

"who's fault that we're tired now?"

"hehehe, I'm excited because it's so long since I go out with the three of you like this."

"you're right, the last time we do this is last 8 months."

"right right!"

Cesia stand up and look at the three men sitting at her front. She put her hand in front of them and smile big.

"Today, in this place, let's make a promise, a promise that whatever happens in the future, the four of us are going to stay like this."

Ceal stood up and ruffle Cesia's hair. "You dummy, of course we will stay like this forever, even in the afterlife, and besides, what bad will happen in the future if you have us right?"

Cesia put her right hand in her chest and replied,

After a few minutes, the four of them laugh so hard.

They head home with a smile in their faces, Cesia look at the sky and wish that this happy day will never end.
