CHAPTER 3

SHINA POV

"How would I know?" I chuckled. "Magtatanong ba ako tungkol sa kanya kung may alam ako?" nagmamaang-maangang sabi ko.

If his family background is still hidden from the public, it only means that Mr. Shin is also being too protective about their name and image. I suddenly feel bad for the son. Ibig sabihin ay napakatagal nang hindi siya nakakalabas sa publiko kasama ang pamilya. How do they spend their special occassions then?

Sumakit na naman ang ulo ko. It only adds to the reasons na wala dapat maging scandal between Suzie and him. How can I make them fall for each other without being discovered by the whole world? If I fail hindi lamang si Daddy ang madidisappoint, tiyak pati na rin si Chairman Shin.

Ano ba tong binigay na problema sa akin. After all the sacrifices I've done to the company, sa ganitong bagay lang pala nakasalalay ang pagiging CEO ko! I'm a heiress of Hundai Motor and not of some small dating agency for pete's sake!

Napamasahe na lang ulit ako ng noo ngunit napaangat ako ng mga mata matapos maramdamang tila may nakatayo pa rin sa harapan ko. "Why are you still here? Wala ka bang balak sundin ang utos ko?"

She smiled while blinking. "Alam ko na po ang isasagot sa mga tanong niyo. Hindi ko na kailangang mag-google pa. Anim na taon ko na pong bias si Jin kaya alam na alam ko na ang lahat tungkol sa kanya."

"Six years?" I uttered in awe. "Matagal na pala ang DVX."

"Yes ma'am. They debuted on 2013 and started to gain international recognition on 2017. Now they are already very popular around the world. Yung mga kanta nila no. 1 sa lahat ng charts! Yung mga concert nila, minuto lang sold out na kahit gaano pa kamahal ang tickets." Buong pagmamalaking pahayag niya.

"I see. So what about Mr. Jin? Anong alam mo sa kanya?"

I can't believe she just had butterfly in her stomach by merely hearing Chairman Shin son's name. Kinagat niya ang labi para pigilan ang kilig. "He's the most handsome man ever landed on earth."

"I am not asking about your opinion on his looks." I'm starting to get impatient to her.

Bigla siyang nahiya at medyo pomormal. "He's the visual of DVX."

"Visual? Ano yan?"

"Yung pinakagwapong member na maaring maka attract ng fans with the face value alone."

"I see, " tango ko. "What else?"

"He's 29 years old."

I quickly counted in my head the age difference. Well seven years is not really a big deal. He's turning thirty. No wonder why Chairman Shin is in a hurry to find him a match.

"He's one of the vocalist of DVX. And his voice is really high. He likes to go fishing, playing computer games, cooking and eating. Siya ang pinakakwelang member at napakataas ng kanyang sense of humor. He's very smart too. He's oozing confidence adds to his charms. He's kind, sweet and undoubtedly a husband material." Her eyes are radiating hearts while slightly swaying her body.

"How about his ideal woman?" diretsong tanong ko.

Nagdududang tiningnan niya ako.

"Don't give me that look and just answer me."

"Gusto niya ng pinanganak between 1991 to 2002. Yung maputi, mahaba, unat at malambot ang buhok. 5'2 to 5'4 ang height. Maganda mag-smile. Yung feminine na feminine ang dating na mala Disney princess. Cute yung parang kasing cute ng tuta, maalaga, mabait, responsible, affectionate, classy, soft hearted, yung masayang kasama, madaling patawanin, mataas din ang sense of humor, soft spoken. Yung babaeng malaya niyang maalagaan. Yung babaeng tatanggapin ang buong pagkatao niya. Yung babaeng may feeling of security sa kanya. Yung babaeng magiging mabuting asawa at higit sa lahat mahilig din magluto."

I cringe as I listen to her. No wonder it's called ideal girl for a reason. It doesn't exist in real life. But at least lagpas kalahati nito ay pasado si Suzie.

I caught Heena gazing at me with smaller eyes. "Alam ko height lang ang pumasok sa akin. Don't worry it's not about me!" kusang sabi ko na sa mga mapanghusga niyang mata.

"Pasok din naman ho kayo doon sa classy at responsable," tila may pang-aasar pang sagot niya.

"How about scandal? What were his scandals?"

I'm confused why she smiled naughtily. "In his entire career, isa lang ang naging scandal niya."

"What is it?" It better be not serious. Or else baka ako mismo ay umayaw sa kanya para sa kapatid ko.

She carefully looked around and whispered to my ear. "The fans noticed a box of king-size condom in one of his photos."

"What?!" Medyo namula ako sa sinabi niya. I quickly pushed her away. "I-Is that all?"

"Yes. I don't even consider it a scandal but a compliment instead," she giggled.

I cleared my throat. "How about his dating history?"

"He had girlfriend when she was 13 and the girl cheated on her. That was the first and last."

Napangiwi ako. 13? Seriously? My goodness! Ako nga lumagpas na lamang sa kalendaryo ang edad ay hindi pa nakakaranas man lamang kahit magkaboyfriend ng isang araw.

"You can leave now. Type everything you said and give it to me." I casually said.

"It's all in you tube ma'am."

"Well send me the links and still type everything you said. Understand?" ngisi ko.

"Y-Yes ma'am."

"Call Yujin. I want to talk to him now," pahabol na utos ko bago siya makalabas ng pintuan.

Sinandal ko ang aking ulo sa silya at ipinikit ang aking mga mata. It's still morning pero parang pagod na pagod na ako. Hindi pwedeng mawala ako sa focus. I need to think positive. This marriage arrangement is also beneficial to me. With the combine power of Shin and Young family tiyak na mas magiging malakas ang impluwensiya ko in the future.

I slowly opened my eyes after hearing three knocks. Yujin Kang entered with calming smile. He's our company lawyer who mostly works as my assistant and consultant. He's three years older than me. He's been my consultant for seven years and I trust him the most in the company. I love listening to his advices. We are friends outside work and he's my only drinking buddy.

"You're looking for me?" he asked coolly with both hands in his suits' pocket.

"I guess I won't be coming to the office for a while," I sighed. "It's family matter."

He shrugged. "I've heard about it from Chairman Young. Do you need my help?"

"Of course. Alam mo namang kailangan ko ang tulong mo sa lahat. But for now I want you to attend on my pending project proposals while I'm busy attending to this crazy family duty. I need to finish this matter before I assume the CEO position. I received a ridiculous threat from the chairman that it will be postponed if I fail on this task." Tatawa-tawa na lamang na wika ko.

"So what's your plan now?"

"I'll talk to my sister first."

"I have CEO Daniel Gun's number. I think you need it too."

Lumukot ang aking noo. " CEO Gun?Ang sinupurtahan nating maging CEO ng Fyne Entertainment?

"Yes."

"Why would I need his number?"

"DVX is their artists."

Namilog ang aking mga mata. "Really? My family have a big share in that company so you mean, DVX is also our artists?"

"Sort of but Chairman Shin has the biggest share. That's what you get when you're too focus on Hundai. Wala ka ng masyadong alam sa maliliit niyong investments."

"Well, there are trusted people who're in charge of our small investments," kibit ko ng mga balikat sabay ngiti. Natuwa ako sa aking nalaman. Masigla akong tumayo para umuwi ng bahay."I will talk to Suzie first before I talk to CEO Gun. I hope my sister won't give me a hard time too."
