Chapter 23

"Why is everywhere dark?"

"Why can't I see a goddamn thing?"

These were the first questions that popped into my head when I woke up.

Everywhere was pitch black. Looking forward was the same as looking into the abyss. Staring continuously can make one's mind go blank.

I don't know how long I have been here, but it feels like days, months, years, centuries, and millennia have passed by. And I am going mad by just looking into the abyss. It shows no signs of moving, but why does my mind picture it moving? I cannot even feel my body; I don't know if I am even dead or alive. 

"I don't know what to do; I don't know; I don't know." I continued to shout these words as I kept staring into the abyss. I was seriously lost, and I did not know what to do.

But wait, I hear a sound—a sound I don't like to hear, no matter what. That sound annoys me to no end. But this time I was happy to finally hear that sound because it kind of woke me up from my never-ending nightmare.

The sweet sound of the alarm clock. When I finally managed to break out of that reverie,. I noticed I was sweating all over, and surprisingly, I was in my room.

On impulse, I checked my pulse and felt my heart beating just a little bit faster than normal, but still okay. And finally, I touched my head and realized I was a bit heated.

I tossed away my clothes and went into the bathroom to take a quick bath. I noticed I had slept for more than 20 hours because the date was the sixth.

While the cold water ran down my body, I began to feel relaxed and think about what happened to me yesterday. I felt abnormal; I felt like I did not belong here, and the most important information is that something is coming, and it is going to change the lives of humans.

For something to change the lives of humans, it can only be one thing, and that is aliens. Because if they did come to earth, a lot of religions would be in turmoil. Because it went against their doctrines, and the aliens who might be coming will definitely come with advanced technology.

I have seen what technology can do to Earth; just look at the adoption of AIs in the lives of humans now. They now drive cabs, create stories, songs, movies, give advice, and do a whole lot more. So just imagine what would happen when the Earth was infused with technology that could help her travel through space. That would be massive and really change the way people think and also increase their greed, which in turn affects their lives.

But the aliens that would be coming might be coming to destroy, rape, and tear apart this world. It is quite normal because that is what human beings have been doing since the dawn of time. If they manage to defeat a foe, they plunder, loot, kill, and rape. So, I do not see why the aliens who were coming would not do the same to humans with lower intelligence and technology.

Finally, I wanted to chip in on this, but what if something is coming? That is not far-stretch, though, because that is what the world's religions have been preaching. Live a good life and inherit eternal peace. If this was really going to come, I guess I have no choice but to accept the fact that I am going to hell. Because I cannot stop being human, my basic instincts are greed and selfishness.

And finally, that dark place I don't even want to think about it anymore. It makes me feel sick whenever I think about it.

After coming to these terms, I turned off the shower and went back into the room. Walking naked right now feels a bit uncomfortable because of the weight between my legs. I went to stand in front of the full-dress mirror to look at my naked body, which was flowing with water.

I just had this desire to take a picture right now, which I did. I placed the towel in front of my dick so that it would not be seen and took a picture of myself using my reflection.
