The Family Together

Over the next month the midwives delivered Lei Jin's children from all of his wives and concubines. It was a seemingly never ending process to them but they made it through. Each of them learned a few things during that time.

"Madam Qing Ning, I… I wonder if there is something you could teach to help us have the same thing happen." One of the midwives asked, blushing profusely. She was too embarrassed to say the specifics out loud. 

"All you need to do is find the man for you. From what I saw all of you have a man in your eyes waiting for you out there. But just like with cultivation. No one can tell you what to do. Others can guide your path, but it is up to you to take the path you wish to walk. The important thing is to have no regrets in your choice." Qing Ning said, and then lost all interest in them, moving to focus on her newborn. 

The midwives were curious at first. Then after watching the scene develop for more time, they realized something. 

"Madam Qing Ning and the others don't have a look that would lead me to think they have any regrets." One of the women gossiped. 

"I know. They all seem so happy." Another midwife said, softly. 

"The way they changed after holding their babies… Makes me want one for myself. How could they have such a regret when they look at such cuties." Another midwife said. "That Junior Brother… he is going to give me a baby as soon as possible. I want one and I want it to be his." She said, a bit louder than she meant to. And by that… everyone heard. 

"Sister is quite bold to declare something like that so loud. Not bad. Though I can hardly blame you. Your Junior Brother is quite good looking and noble." Another midwife said, extending a hug to the other. "I too have a man in mind. I'll make him give me babies." She accidentally said out loud. 

"Ladies, now that my children have all been safely delivered. I owe you a debt of gratitude. And so I will grant you a kindness. Here is a gift for each of you. And something else that will work as incentive. I don't think that the men you think about are going to need it. After all, what more does an attractive woman need when gaining the attention of an attractive man? The only things are confidence, and love. But you should understand that neither of these should be forced." Lei Jin said, cutting in before they started revealing their hidden bold desires. 

"Alright I see how things are going now. My dear husband wants you to leave before we start giving you good ideas to use on your men. But you should take this as well. I know it is a little embarrassing but it should be known that… It feels incredible. Try it whenever you get the chance, you'll see what I mean." Ling Shi said, floating over some jades to the midwives. 

"We understand, And are extremely grateful for your kindness. My family won't forget this." The Housewives said. 

"Good! Then with my blessing you will return. Cultivate diligently and balance your efforts properly." Lei Jin said, then waved his hand. The 40 midwives were teleported out and went back to their respective teams. 

Just as soon as they disappeared, Burning Shine, Nether Glimmer, Xiao Ling and Xiao Dan appeared. All four of them instantly realized where they were and proceeded to jump on Lei Jin. 

"Daddy! Big sister Xiao Ling is so fun! Big sister Nether Glimmer is fun too! And so is big brother! I had lots of fun." Xiao Dan exclaimed, closing her eyes and smiling.

"Good it seems you all had fun playing together. It really is good. I'm happy. Now come and greet all of your mothers. They have been quite anxious to see you. But be careful okay. Your little brothers and sisters were just born. So don't get rowdy." Lei Jin said. 

And the four children ran off to see their mothers and their new siblings. The twins were curious about their newest siblings as well. Mainly Ruo Xi's newborn. It was only a matter of time before they also sensed the same thing that Lei Jin had felt before. 

"Mommy, daddy, my little sister… She gives off the strength of the wood element and it's almost on par with brother and I. Do you know what happened? Is my baby sister in danger?" Nether Glimmer asked, tearing up. 

"Father, save my baby sister. There is too much for her to control. It took many cycles of death and rebirth for us to gain the little bit of control we had before mommy came." Burning Sun begged, also crying just like his sister Nether Glimmer.

"Don't worry you two, your sister will be alright. Why don't lay here with mommy for a while. Let your baby sister know how much you love her." Ruo Xi said, with a smile. 

"Listen to your mother. I have already been suppressing the rampant power ever since the first notice of such fluctuations. Your baby sister will be fine. I won't let her go through the same pain, suffering and loss the two of you have." Lei Jin said, giving the twins each a head pat. "It hurts my heart to know what you have suffered in the past. But it warms my heart to see you both caring so deeply for your sister. Spend time with your new brothers and sisters. And be good role models for your little brothers and sisters." Lei Jin added and gave each of the twins a kiss on their foreheads. 

The twins, having heard Lei Jin's words, crawled up to lay next to Ruo Xi. Then they buried their faces into her and cried. Letting the last of their worries out. In that moment the last of their burdens were obliterated by their father without a second thought, nor reservation. Combined with their mothers embrace, it was too emotionally overwhelming, and thus they cried.
