When Kyran turned 18, his life turned upside down. The Royal Army raided his clan because his supposedly non-existent magic got exposed. On that fateful night, he was the only one who escaped. Up to the present, the status of his clan was unknown. A magic inheritance that became a curse, Kyran became a fugitive. Always on the run... living in fear when the Royal Army finally captures him. Dragons, Faes, and High Elves
It took Kyran three days before finding a plane. Fortunately, it was a neutral plane, and its Overlord was called Oceanus.
Shaiha admitted to knowing someone called Overlord Oceanus. However, she was unsure if the Oceanus of that plane was the same mage she remembered. That was because Oceanus was only a title, not the mage's real name. As such, it was customary to pass the title on to the mage's successor or student if something happened to them.
According to Shaiha, names in the Higher Realm held great power. It could also bind one and become one's weakness. To avoid this, beings with conscience never give out their real names. Instead, they refer to themselves by affiliation, clan, position, or title if they were a High Sovereign or an Overlord of a small or big plane.
