Chapter 153, Karin

"So, did you find the answer?" Van asked as Reinhardt placed a bowl of soup on the small table on Arata's bed. He hands Arata the spoon which he accepts and begins to eat.

"Yeah." He answered with a smile. "Though it took a bit."

"Well, we believed in you no matter what." Lina says and pats his head. "Now eat up. You need it since you've been asleep for three days."

Arata nod and eats while the others talk. As he does, he lets his mind wonder, to let it escape from the many trouble that have gathered. There are many things for them to think about, the cities that have been brought to the skies, the enemies plans, but they can all wait till tomorrow. Today, Arata wanted to rest and recover, while the sun is shining for them

"Is something wrong?" He asked when he noticed how quiet they were.

"Nothing." Alexis smiled as he patted his head.

Arata doesn't pry and simply smiles before taking a sip of his water. After his meal, Arata gets up and with Zhen, go out to admire the blooms. When they are outside and out of earshot Liam speaks.

"After searching and asking around, I did find that there were rumors that said being around Arata would bring unknown dangers." He says.

"Did you figure out who was spreading them?" Reinhardt asked.

"I didn't. Apparently they heard about it from a new student." Liam answers before turning his attention to the window.

Arata, who was with Zhen, admired the blooms before deciding to pick some of them. With a pair of scissors he picks the roses, tulips and some of the lillies along with a handful of alliums.

Just then, he felt the wind blowing and hands the bouquet to Zhen who takes them with a puzzled expression.

"Can you take them back to my room and place them in the vases? I need to go somewhere for a quick bit bit." He says to Zhen and Zhen, who acts like a puppy towards him nods and heads back to the school.

Liam's eyes, follow Arata as he walks down the path lined with blooms before turning down the corner and disappearing from sight. Zhen, returns to the room carrying the bouquet of flowers that Arata picked.

"Where's Arata?" Mayumi asked.

"He said he wanted to go for a walk for a bit in private to think about things." Zhen answers. "Said he'll be back in a bit."

While the others were not looking, Arata, who was now alone was greeted by Addy and Eddy. He felt their magical power blended into the wind and made a way to escape from the others views for a bit.

"How can I help?" He asked.

"Le Fleur, we want to warn you that Karin is plotting something." Addy says and Arata raises his eyebrows. "A few nights ago, she went to meet with Sirius of the Chimerans and had a discussion with him apparently."

"Please be wary, Le Fleur. She seems to be plotting something with them." Eddy adds.

"What about Licht?" Arata asked.

"We still haven't found where the Gem of Melancholy is, forgive us." Addy says and Arata nods.

"It's nothing to worry about." Arata says. "Keep observing hi-"

"Arata! Where are you?" Will's voice cuts him.

"For now, head back." Arata says. "Let's meet again."

The two leave and Arata turns and walks back to the direction of the school where Will and a group of uneasy companions search for him. Arata rejoins them and they head back to school.

"What were you thinking about?" Andrew asks him as they are walking back.

"Nothing much." He answers. "Just what to do next."

"Well, don't worry too much about it. Can't have you ending up with a fever from thinking too much." He says and Arata nods.

Meanwhile, Karin was slowly preparing her plan to attack the Braves. She has gained the help of Sirius and the Chimeras. However, while she believed that she was using the Chimeras the Chimeras actually making use of her.

They kept her close due to the negative energy that surrounded her. It was born from her jealousy, hatred and grudge towards Arata and it was the perfect source of food for them.

"Everything is coming along smoothly. We may begin the attack once the True Beast, Zubeneschamali, Hamal and Alioth are ready." Sirius smiles to Karin.

To this, Karin's lips rise in a smile. She was excited to see how Arata would react to her attack. She targetted the city close to the school and the attack would be at night, when they had low visibility..She also planned to use the power of Aquarius and Ophiuchus to create a dense heavy fog that would add to the difficulty.

Meanwhile, Licht sighed. He already knew how Karin's plan would end but he stayed quiet. This would be the perfect time to test the Le Fleur's power after all. To see how much Arata had grown as he knew that once again, Arata had grown stronger.

Meanwhile, Arata and the others were all having afternoon tea. Arata was smiling as he sipped the tea Mayumi made them.

"So, anything?" He asked Ethan.

"No. Our enemies seem to be keeping a disturbingly low profile." He answers when suddenly the alarm of the school rings.

"Where are they?" Arata asked.

"Its... above the city?!" Ethan answered and they all got up.

Without a second's delay, they were all ready to deploy but Arata stops them saying there must Braves left to defend the school. Mayumi, Touya, Yuuki, Moyo, Shizu and Ayato stay behind and the others depart for the city.

When the arrive, it is a horrendous scene. Chimeras are everywhere and attacking in groups. They are attacking everything in sight. Above the city, Karin was smiling as she looked down on the city, on the people that didn't accept nor want her, and above all people who dared to defy her.
