Aunt barbara

she was a woman in her early fifties, aunt Barbara or Aunt Barb,as I would prefer to call her has great features . she likes wearing clothes that shows her hips and leg she was in her late fifties but she still looks as elegant and stunning as ever , sometimes,I wonder if she thinks she is still in her mid twenties or thirties.but even though I hate to admit it, sometimes I would wish she was nicer to me and would treat me like a human being who deserves to be loved.i had always hoped she would treat me fairly,I always tried to please her but she never cared or cares

"What's with this old woman?why is she looking at me like that?" I thought silently in my mind.

"Aunt,is there a problem?I asked,

"Oh, nothing dear, I just want to know where you are going to.aunt Barbara moved closer to me and held my hands," you know dear, you can always tell me anything about your plans in the future, you can tell me absolutely anything"

The statement sounded wierdly but I had to play along with her knowing very well what kind of person she is. I just decided to maintain my stance and mind my words, because I don't know what she is planning to do.what if there're reporters around and they are taking photos of us ,I tried not to be rude.that is the only way to figure out what she is scheming"I thought silently in my mind.

"Okay aunt"I smiled back at her.

"Thanks"

"No problem dear"

"Thankfully for me,I already know what my aunt Barbara is like, she is a snake , a snitch and a rat , I'd rather tell my problems to a rat instead of this evil bitch.

"Okay aunt,I have to go, Oliver must be waiting for me.

"I had to make an excuse so that she would let me go"

"Really? but it's not yet time for you to pick her up"

"No auntie, Oliver's teacher called and she wants me to come and pick Oliver up More early today so I have to go"

Before she could say anything,I stormed out of her sight to prevent myself from saying anything stupid. I could still remember the day she forced me to sell my company,I tried to persuade and even beg her , but she refused to listen to any of my pleads.that day , after selling off my own company that I built with hard work.i felt empty

I shook off the thought.

"let bygones be bygones"

I whispered as I walked as fast as possible to the parking lot.

Once I got the parking lot,I got into the car and drove straight to Oliver's school.

The school was a very nice one , it is a duplex building painted in every different colors children like or as Oliver would like to say it is painted in rainbow colors as she claims that the color gives her a sense of beauty , the gate was still closed when I got there ,the gate of the school looked so beautiful that I couldnt tear my gaze from it,it had became my normal routine to stare at this beautiful adorned gate, the name of the school is written boldly on the gate great ville kindergarten , this gives it a beautiful view.i waited until the gate was opened and an handsome looking man in his mid thirties gestured for me to come in,I wondered why an handsome and young man like him was the one to open the gate of the school that was unusual, even though I can't recall his face , it is usually an old man in his mid fifties .once I drove in and parked my car,I could see my beautiful angel running towards me her face with a smile that warms my heart every time I see her with the smile on her face.

"How are you dear?".

I asked with a smile on my face which hid all my worries and sadness.even though her warm smile had already made me forget about my sadness.just seeing her smile was enough for me I need nothing else but my little angel.

"How was your day?"

Oliver looked at me really happily.

"My day was fine and Fun"

"And you?"she asked with a worried look on her face. Even though she is young, she appears to be smarter and bolder than her age.sometimes,I even wonder if she really is still a four years old girl, she looked beautiful in her combination of blue jean and white shirt with her hair tied in pony tail with a blue bow on her head, she looked real cute.

"She has been excited to go home all day".

her teacher Mrs Smith said smiling,"do you guys have somewhere to go ?are you taking her out for lunch?

"No,I just promised to read her bedtime stories tonight , you see, I've been busy lately and we've had no time together, well, it's basically like I have had no time for her,so I decided to make it up to her by reading her a bedtime story tonight " oh ,Mrs Smith hissed disappointedly.

Sensing that our conversation will take a while since we wanted to talk about her school need and the fact that her school exam is near since it was almost December, looking at me with pleading eyes,

liver asked me if she could play by the school garden that was right in front of me.i nodded in agreement.as Oliver left to play, Mrs Smith who looked at Oliver's back as she walked away, Mrs Smith looked at me pityfully,

"Mrs Lena, you are really strong. I can't magine myself in your situation.if I were you,I would have already broken down."

"There's no need to pity me,I am alright"

. she knows of my situation and so does every one in the city.she is more nice and considerate to me and especially Oliver who is always mocked for being fatherless.i hate it but I don't want anyone to know that she is not biologically related to me.

But just as we were discussing, two girls and two other boys who looked like they are around Oliver's age walked up to Oliver who was playing with the mangolia flower petals that had just been blew by the wind.i couldn't hear what they were saying but Oliver had an amused look on her face.this gave me a sense of relief.but then ,I saw one of the boys around her age hugging Oliver and she blushed.iwondered what was going on before I turned my gaze back to Mrs Smith who had a smile on her face.

" Tsk tsk tsk,Kids nowadays, you never understand them."
