"Hmm, maybe it's an emergency case? But it's weird because you said he was supposed to be resting," Jazz speculated.
Dalcy chimed in, her expression curious. "Maybe something happened with the twins? Or maybe he just thought of something urgent to do at the hospital."
I pondered. What happened? Why is he suddenly here? "Okay, maybe I should call Zairon first to find out what's going on."
"Yes, call him. You might have something to do," Jazz suggested.
I nodded and quickly dialed Zairon's number again, hoping he would pick up this time. But just like before, there was no answer.
"He's still not answering. Maybe he's really busy," I said to myself.
"But even if he's busy, he should have time to reply to you. Try again," Jazz urged.
I nodded and tried calling again, but once again, there was no answer.
I was getting worried. Why isn't he answering? What happened?
