Chapter 10

Gaku was already on the sea running on water.

At his speed, being capable of doing such a feat is easy.

After he was a good distance away from the island, he stopped running and put his shirt and jacket in the water.

Leaving himself to be shirtless.

He started swimming in order to not waste stamina.

"I hope that guy Kizaru isn't going to come after me, but since I'm in the sea, it'll be my advantage even if he does come."

*ZIP* *ZIP*

A blinding light appeared above Gaku in an instant.

A tall man in a yellow uniform, with sunglasses and a marine cape on his back appeared in the sky.

"How troublesome...

I had to search for you all over the place in order to find you...

So you were the one that killed the Celestial Dragons, eh."

Gaku looked at Kizaru with a helpless smile and thought. 'This is bad...

I thought that he would go after the Strawhats like he did in the story...

But it looks like he only cares about capturing the one who killed the celestial dragons.

I can't even touch him since I don't know how to use Haki...

All I can do is run away.'

*CHINK*

Gaku thew a flashbang up in the air and started swimming deep in the water.

Kizaru loooked at the little grenade and said. "What's this?"

He spoke in a slow and bored manner, like he always does.

*BOOM*

The grenade exploded and a blinding light blinded Kizaru's eyes for only an instant.

But for Gaku, even that instant was useful.

"So troublesome..."

*FWOOSH*

A concentrated beam of light was sent down from Kizaru's leg.

*BOOM*

The beam of light hit the bottom of the sea and a big explosion happened there.

Gaku didn't even stop, he kept going deeper and further.

"You're in the water thinking I can't hit you...

What an annoying fellow."

*PEW* *PEW*

He crossed his arms, and thousands of tiny light beams escaped from his hands.

Gaku had a hard time trying to dodge them, but some of them hit him.

But they were just grazing him at best, none of them did actual damage.

'The water should be taking off of their power, I'm already down enough for a normal human to get crushed, so his light beams are losing power.

Seriously, what an annoying devil fruit.'

Because all of the blood he was losing, sea kings started to appear left and right.

Gaku frowned thought. 'I'm in the water, my movement is not that good either.

I'll have to use my mace.'

He took the mace out of his inventory, aimed the tip at the biggest fish around and let the cannon loose.

*BOOSH*

A hole was blown into the fish's mouth and all the other fish froze and retreated.

While the fish was confused, he entered it's mouth through the hole and used random items from his inventory to stop the water from getting in.

"HAH...

That was close...

I should've just assassinated the Celestial Dragon instead of openly killing him...

But I need a strong teammate, because if my prediction is correct...

The person who I'm going to pick will have to come with me on other missions."

But that was just a guess of his, what other reason would the system make him have a crewmate if he's going to leave this world anyway?

He looked at the wounds on his body and said. "Good thing he didn't get to hit something vital.

Looks like I too get lucky sometimes.

I would have been more lucky if Kizaru didn't show up at all though."

He took his pants off and took some bandages out of his inventory.

After he bandaged himself in the places where there was blood coming out he took out some food and started to eat.

"I will stay in this fish's body until I know I am safe.

Even if it means staying weeks in here."

Back to Kizaru who was over the water.

"That's weird...

I can't sense him anymore...

That means he died and was probably eaten by a fish...

Well, it's too bad I couldn't get his corpse but this will have to do."

*ZIP* *ZIP*

He took Gaku's bloodied jacked and flew away.

Gaku doze off when he felt safe and when he woke up he was surprised to see that he felt good.

He flexed his muscles and said. "I feel good, I actually feel better than before.

What's happening?"

He looked at his body and saw that the wounds were almost healed already. "This is weird...

Since when did my body become so strong and full of energy..."

His eyes widened and he said. "Accelerated Adaptability!

That ability, it probably made me stronger."

{My mouth itches...}

Gaku looked around and said. "Who said that?"

He didn't see nor did he sense anyone around.

{It hurts...

My mouth...}

Gaku furrowed his brows and said nothing.

He touched the fish's tongue and pinched it hard.

{MY TONGUE!}

The tongue started to swirl around, aiming to destroy what was hurting it.

"Do I understand the animals now too?

God damn, this power sure is useful."

*BWAM*

He clapped his hands very hard in order to produce a sonic boom.

The fish started to twirl around even more now as it started to complain.

Gaku yelled. "SHUT UP!"

The fish stopped all together.

Gaku spoke like he usually does and said. "I can hear what you're saying, stop complaining or I'll kill you."

{What? This human can hear what I'm saying?}

"Yes I can, I too am surprised about this.

But that doesn't matter right now.

I need you to do something for me and I'll leave to never bother you again."

{...

"Have you ever seen a boat that's dragged by Yuda Sea Serpents?

Take me to the place where it usually goes to."

{Yuda?

I'm not going there!}

*BAM*

Gaku punched a random part of it's interior 'lightly' and said. "You'll bring me there or you're dead."

{I understand!}

Gaku leaned on his back and thought. 'Smart fish.

I see that the bigger they are, the smarter.'

He looked at the roof of the fish's mouth and thought. 'What a mess.

I would've never expected that I would get to travel in the insides of a gigantic fish.'
