CHAPTER ONE

As I kneeled infront of the emperor who's sword is covered with blood, I smiled waiting for the sword to peirce through my heart. As the it peirced through my heart, I coughed blood. All I can do is smile and laugh at the same time, Dying in the arms of the man whom you love is the most painful death.
I glanced at the person behind him, My brother who abandoned me.
"In my next life, I hope I don't ever meet you" With those as my last words, I slowly close my eyes.
As my eyes closes, I saw a bright light and walked towards it. A woman wearing a white dress with gold like hair smiled at me and offered her hand and I accepted it.
"What a terrible life you've lived, I have been watching over you since you were born and loved you as my own" The woman said I was amazed as I heard this.
Hearing that someone loved me secretly filled all the spaces in my empty heart.
" I shall bestow a gift to you" she said
" To what honor do I deserve this gift of yours, I can't see any reason for me to receive a gift from you" I said
"I the spirit of light along with the other spirits have seen you struggle and yearning for love" As she said those words a female with green hair and eyes arrived along with some people
" I'm the spirit of Nature, Mint" The lady in green hair intoduced her self
"I'm the spirit of Fire, Ifrit" A man with red eyes and hair said
"I'm the spirit of Water, Leviathan" A lady with blue hair and ocean like eyes said
"I'm the spirit of Shadows, Noir" A man with red eyes and black har said
"I'm the spirit of Wind, Storm" A man with greyish hair and green eyes said
" And I'm Layla the spirit of Light, On the day you were born we have loved you but due to your mother being the last elementalist dying, you never had a chance to manifest your talents and see us. We the Higher spirits shall grant you new start to change your fate" Layla said as each spirit formed a ball of light with the color the same as their hair and passed it on to me.
Before leaving I heard layla say "We will guide you towards your happiness, Just call our names and we will be there" and she smiled at me
Everything happened in a flash of light, When I opened my eyes I was in my 16 uyears old body.In the kingdom of Westeria at the age of sixteen a lady or man ar in their legal age, In other words they do not need a guardian to travel or permission to travel.
It was night when I opened my eyes, I opened the small box on my table and wore my mother's necklace. Since I wasn't the favored child, I was neglected. I never had accessories or fancy dresses, All I have are normal dresses and a single necklace. I also opened my drawer where I have 3 gold bags as y savings. I wrote on a piece of paper the word 'I'm leaving, no need to look for me'. And I wrote a letter saying that I'm breaking my engagement with the crown Prince of the empire.
Not that I was expecting them to read it, at the least I wasn't rude enough to leave without a note.
" I call upon the higher spirit of wind Storm" As I said those words a magic circle appeared and then storm.
"My Lady, you have called" He said
"Can you help me travel to a peaceful place?" I asked
" Without a doubt I can My Lady, Just tell me the location and I'll fly you there"
" I call upon the higher spirit of Nature, Mint" As I said those words the same thing happened when I summoned Storm
" You have called My Lady?"She said
"I need you help, Can you use your powers to find a place which is peaceful and faraway from the capital?" I asked
" I know a place My Lady In the Northern part of Westeria a village name Serene is a peaceful one it is also far from this place.
" Thank you Mint you may go back, Storm take me to serene" I said and opened the door in my room leading to the balcony. Storm transformed into a blue bird and fled while I was riding on his back.
