New Beginning

Annie woke up and continued packing. Her mother had called her last night and told her that they'll be moving. She asked about the place but all her mom said was, far away.

Annie was glad as it meant not seeing her father probably ever again. She packed everything and helped her little sister pack before proceeding to take a bath and dress up.

This was the house her once beautiful family lived. Now her father had a new family which did not include them. Leaving this place meant cutting ties with her father forever.

She was glad her mother had moved on, even if it was by pretence. Annie believed her mom, sister and her would be very happy someday. Her mom had to be strong for them and she in turn had to be strong for her younger sister.

Mrs Claudia Russell now miss Claudia Lutterodt, Annie's and Francisca's mother did not have it easy after divorce. Her family members abandoned and pointed fingers at her for not being able to keep her multi billionaire husband.

All except Annie's uncle Bob from her father's side.This man's decision to stand by Annie and her mom and sister changed Annie's view about men. She now believed that there were good men too out there, maybe a few of them.

Uncle Bob welcomed then into his home and heart and they in turn accepted him into their hearts, even stonehearted Annie.

Uncle Bob was well to do. He was the younger brother of their father. His house was more like a mansion.They settled in quite well and soon life began for them in the city.

Annie ventured into the world of business. She was a very smart child with a very high IQ but she still had to go to high school first.

Her mom and her uncle had decided to send Annie and her sister to the best schools in the city. Anna was now 17 her sister was 13.
