Meeting again

The weather was really very hot in the city of Da Hills, everyone one in the palace was seen with a shawl. The maidens took it as an opportunity not to work anymore, with each group gossiping about different topics. Occasionally their laughter would reach the royalties, and they wonder whether the cold is affecting their brains.

Xu Lee stayed inside her room watching the drizzling of the rain which was making her freeze like a chicken in a freezer. She got up to close her windows and binded the curtains. She had really been thinking of Xiao Yaun and he makes her shiver each time. She really wished she could see him again, and it was bad that she has no address of him. How was she ever going to see him.

She had never felt any attraction for anyone in her life until now... what was so different about him. All her life she had always been bullied, even as a princess. That was why she had started to grow under her company, that was why she had asked her father to take her maid away. The king made it mention again the last two months, and she still was adamant. Why does she feel this sudden attraction towards him...

She had to find a way to reach him, the first man who had finally made her heart flutter. He really must be something. His face, height and perfect lean body depicts of a sensual touch, just like the fairies she is to watch in movies. And if he were to pick a role, it would have been that of a prince.

Xu Lee walked to her shelf looking for a story to read, it was a very cold day, why not lift your spirit up by reading something catchy and interesting. She picked a book called FOREVER WITH MY GUARDIAN ANGEL, which was recently piled on the shelf and which she heard from the ads that was always shown on Zee world. She took it and and went to her reading table to scan it through before reading. The first sight that caught her attention was when the Anne Brad, dressed up in a costume as an angel to save her neglected child, who was looking rather amazed by this beautiful lady.... She sat well and turned the pages to chapter One, and would occasionally laugh and smile to herself.

She kept on reading and laughing to herself before she heard a knock on her door.

' Who is that?' Xu Lee asked, leaving a bookmark on her page.

' It's Emily.' She said. Oh Emily, the girl that lost her parents and whose condition was really worse because there was no one to adopt her. So the King did and she came to live with them here in China.

' Come in.' Lee said, placing the book on the bed. She looked up as she came in. Emily was tall with golden hair which she really envied her for, and a creamy colored skin that looks like it haven't seen the light of the sun. She has a freckled face and a deep dimple that presses inside each time she talks or smiles.

Emily walked into the room with a stride of a cultured lady, her parents must really have been rich.... Her slender moving in strides to her perfect body.

' You may have a seat.' Xu Lee said, looking at her before going back to her book.

' Thank you.' Emily said, sitting across from Xu Lee. Xu Lee nodded with her head still buried on her book.

' Which story are you reading?' She asked.

' it's called Forever with my Guardian Angel.' Xu Lee replied. ' It's a book by Milestones.'

' It must really be interesting just by reading the name.'

' Oh yes it is,' Xu Lee said.

' Could I borrow it from you after you are done with it?' Emily asked.

' Why not.. You are always welcome to as you please.

.....

It has stopped raining and the weather skyrocketed back to it's normal form as Xu Lee made her way to the stable. She had decided to take a ride today, with her very own horse Whisper. She earlier had asked the stable keeper to keep her horse ready. She sat on her horse, after whispering greetings in her ear. Today was no practice day, so she could spend it anyhow she wanted it.

She rides through to the stream, which had her favorite spot. A lonely place with a twin seat-like tree which was made of straw, and strong enough to carry a person's weight. It been secluded was what drew Xu Lee's attention to it. She had with her the book she had been reading earlier. She had been reading for a long time and engrossed in it that she did not hear when Xiao Yaun walked in until he touched her.

" What book are you reading?" Xiao Yaun asked, smiling at her. She looked at him surprised. Does he really want to know...

" Forever with my Guardian Angel." Xu Lee replied. " It's Fantasy."

" Can I join you on the seat?" Xiao Yaun asked, still giving her that rueful smile.

" Sure." Lee replied, making more room on the seat. She tried so hard to hide her excitement, but maybe he saw through it. Because he kept looking at her like he knew a secret.

" So where do you live?" Xu Lee asked, folding one page of her book before closing it. Now that he was here, isn't it a good idea to know more about him...

" l live down the street." He replied, smiling on one side. " I am not a prince though."

" Who cares whether you are." Lee said, laughing at him.

" I was only saying." Xiao said.

" Can I ask you something?" Lee asked. " Promise not to be angry."

" It depends on what it is. Shoot." Xiao replied, looking at her intently.

" Please can I be your friend?"She asked, not taking her eyes from him, challenging him with it. Xiao Yaun looked at her rather amused.

" We just met Princess Lee." He replied. " isn't it too early for that?"

" I don't think so." Lee said. " But if you are unwilling to become my friend, so be it." Xiao Yaun looked at her, trying to read what's hidden in there.

" What about getting to know ourselves?" Xu Lee asked, still looking at him. lf he should refuse again...

" What would you like to know about me?" He asked.

" Everything." Lee said.

" Everything is not an answer." Xiao reminded her. He gave her a rather skeptical look, and took the book from her hands. He brought it to his face, nodding his head as he read the name.

" Your High School life?" Lee asked. " How was it."

He placed the book on the seat before glancing back at her.

" Hmmm." Xiao signed. " High School was fun. My classmates and I used to have lots of fun in class, if any of the teachers should wear something we considered inappropriate we would make him/her a laughing stock. Criticism would arise but they never knew any of these.

Each and every one of us was intelligent, though our intelligence had grades as they were others who were super intelligent. I am happy to say that I was first ten in the class of 50 students." He said, pausing for a moment.

" I see..." Xu said, adjusting well on the seat.

" Though not very impressive," Xiao laughed, as he continued. " And most times, we the males always had fun with the girls in class, they were always twerking..."

" ln class... that must have been fun." Lee said, smiling widely because hers was a complete opposite of his.

" Aye." Xiao said smiling. " But most times it was not fun as they tend to disturb a lot. I tried not to make it an everyday thing by dividing days reading and playing in class. Though I don't like to read, I listen in class and try to pay a close attention to my teachers. That was my way of learning because reading is not for me... And yes, there was football, the center of activity other than Kung Fu. I loved to play ball and my coach once told me that I had a leg of a footballer, and our school always won on every competition.

Kung Fu panda was great altogether as well as I have a knack for it as well.

Aa-ah, I took pleasures in the game hahaha. None of my classmates were able to beat me. I had learned it like it was food meant for my soul. You could say I have all the time to practice since I never read, no not at all...

I took my time to learn German after school and I had so many investment I was into and till now also.

This is the story of my High School days." Xiao concluded, eyes shining brightly. " Now tell me about yours."

" You had a wonderful samophore." Lee said taking her eyes from his direction. " My journey in school was very traumatic.lt was indeed a journey..."
