Chapter 1: Legacy

2 seconds on the clock, down by 2, he has the ball. He pulls up from deep three point range contested. The whole game was on the line for that one shot and he was comfortable with it. The man who took the shot was Chase Farris, a young man who goes to a private catholic school in Southern Idaho. He is not special, he isn't even his team's best player but this game he felt like he was. He was hot the entire game seeming to get better every single time he touched the ball. All while guarding the other team's best player, Aaron Lee the D1 recruit. Aaron Lee is a 6'4 post playing point guard who averages an absurd 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists per game. He had a great game today too however he was stopped in the 4th quarter when he saw how the young Chase Farris kept just getting better every single time he made a shot. Chase Farris had a record shattering 72 points on 24-28 shooting from the field. He also had around 17 rebounds and 6 blocks, most of them on Aaron Lee. Chase farris was 6'3 smaller than him but his raw athletic ability was unmatched and it seemed to get better every single time he came down the court. The very end of the game, Chase Farris's team was down by 2 with 2 seconds left, Chase Farris pulls up for 3 contested by Aaron Lee. Chase Farris releases it right before it hits 1 second. The shot is in the air for what feels like an eternity as the clock hits 0. The ball then falls right through the net sealing his legendary night with the game winner. This single game got scouts to notice Chase Farris. This was the start to cementing his legacy in the sport of basketball.
