Gabriel walked up behind Megan and wrapped his arms around her. "Did you have a nice time today?"
Megan sighed, "Yeah, I did."
"Sweetheart, I am not immune to your sadness. I am sorry for the way things are." Gabriel told her.
Megan tried to turn around, but he didn't let her. "Gabriel, that's not good enough."
"Sweetheart, I am tied to you. Don't ask me to walk away now. I can't." Gabriel whispered close to her ear.
This time he let Megan turn around. She looked up at him searching for the truth. His eyes were tender, vulnerable. Megan traced her finger along his jaw line and pulled his lips to hers. They kissed slowly for a moment.
Gabriel pulled back. "I want to make love to you tonight. I would like to do so without claiming you. There is, however, a real chance that I won't be able to stop myself from claiming you tonight. What do you want to do?"
