Chapter 23

Among the dense trees, you find a circular fence with a diameter of one kilometer, surrounded by a group of goblins holding stone spears. Inside, there are primitive houses made of straw and wood, where goblins walk back and forth. Among them, you might see a goblin hero patrolling.

In the middle of the goblin village, there's a throne made of skulls, upon which the goblin minister sits. On each leg, there's a female goblin hero, who look embarrassed as if he is flirting with them. Next to him, there are two shamans.

Kiran looks inside, describing what he sees.

Falco, with shining eyes, says, "Your eyes are amazing."

Kiran, proudly raising his nose to the sky, responds, "This isn't even the farthest distance I can see."

Falco asks, "So, what are we going to do?"

Kiran, placing his hand under his chin and speaking cunningly in a loud voice, says, "Since your level is more than 20 levels lower than mine, we can't form a party. So, I'll kidnap the goblins and goblin heroes for you to gain experience." Then he looks at Falco and asks, "What do you think?"

Falco responds, "But you'll hinder yourself from gaining experience this way."

Kiran replies, "Don't worry, don't worry."

Kiran then warms up and disappears from his spot. He places his hand on his chest, saying, "Stealth, no scent, no sound, sensory disruption, flight." Kiran walks on the wall, searching for a lone goblin inside. He finds a goblin that looks less ugly than the others, sneaks up behind it, covers its mouth with his hand, and says, "Sleep," putting the goblin to sleep. Kiran then says, "Stealth," making the goblin disappear as well.

Near Falco, who is drawing on the ground what looks like a demon, Kiran suddenly appears with a sleeping goblin floating next to him.

Falco screams, "Waaaaaaa!"

Kiran laughs, "Hahahaha." The goblin wakes up from its slumber, and before it can scream, Kiran uses his Qi power, spreading it through the goblin, and commands, "Silence," causing the goblin to be utterly silent while trying to scream.

Falco asks, "What was that?"

Kiran replies, "It's my special ability. I call it Qi Orders, where I place commands on my Qi."

Falco, speechless, then says, "Cheater."

Kiran laughs, "Hahaha, you're just jealous." He then looks at the struggling goblin and takes out a sword from his storage. "Get ready, Falco. You'll fight it." Then he looks at the goblin and says, "Fight to live."

Falco responds, "But I'm only level five."

Kiran says, "You must fight. You won't find Miss Amanda or any of us to save you eventually."

He throws the goblin to the ground and tosses it the sword.

Both Falco and the goblin look at each other cautiously before the goblin charges at Falco, swinging its sword. Falco closes his eyes and swings his sword randomly, accidentally hitting the goblin in the chest.

Kiran is speechless.

Falco opens his eyes to find the goblin gone, replaced by a small gem.

Kiran says, "What was that? Do you call that fighting?"

Falco, with teary eyes, says, "But mama didn't teach me how to fight."

Kiran, puffing out his chest, says, "Then don't worry, for teacher Kiran is at your service."

Falco, wiping his tears, asks, "Really?!"

Kiran responds, "Yes, I'll teach you how to fight."

Among the trees, you find Vini and the group watching secretly.

Amanda says, "Be brave, my dear Falco."

Kintaro, wiping a fake tear, says, "Birds leave the nest early."

Vini asks, "But what was that? How did he appear suddenly with that goblin? Isn't he a Qi user?"

Amanda responds, "He is indeed a Qi user."

Suddenly, while watching the boys, Kintaro and Kiran's eyes meet, and Kiran smiles.

Kintaro, in panic, says, "We've been discovered, but when?!"

Dory replies, "It must have been from the beginning."

Kintaro wonders, "But I wonder what lies behind that wall."

Amanda says, "I'm not sure, but there's one thing I'm certain of: my senses are screaming danger."
