(Part 10)

Alan pointing at Aaron looked back at Poseidon, "It's him, that Mr. Go lucky for whom I challenged death." Poseidon turning around traced Aaron pondering, "It's him…"

Aaron grinned gently waving his hand soon showing a thumbs up. "Looks like you'll have to go back now. Since, your little boy is awake." Alan pointed patting Poseidon's shoulder heading towards the highschoolers.

Poseidon instantly looked at the middle schoolers pavilion from where Ezekiel stood ready with his bat outside the pavilion.

"And, let me give you an advise before I leave." Alan halted amid his steps.

"Stop sheltering him under your protection. I don't think that skill of yours will hurt his mental state anymore. Until and unless you teach a bird how to fly and hunt for food himself, don't expect him to stand strong on his own. Trust is the most important essence of our relationship as players. So make sure to trust him even if it's for once. Who knows you might end up trusting him more than even yourself."

Poseidon hearing his words turned around, "You… knew?"

Alan smiled, "Of course, I do. And, I'll know it much more when I face him next. Did you forgot you called me an oracle before? Just think of me as one." Walking back he called out loud, "And, your hot chocolate yesterday was undeniably luscious! So, if we get the chance again. Make sure to give me a cup of it."

Poseidon hearing his complement smiled. "Geez… what a weird one. The more I don't want to admit it, the more fascinated I get." he thought heading back.

Alan walking towards the resting seat, settled down taking deep breaths. Eyeing the sky he smiled, "Ah… looks like I am finally losing my senses now and vision is the first one…" he deduced.

"Playing Azazel was a trigger and using black hole against Poseidon really did It." he added. "Feeling alright?" asked Aigou and Elias from above who looked blurry and black at the same time.

"Yeah… I am fine. Just a little bit tired." Alan assured.

"Looks like only 3 more boys are left. Can you keep up?" asked Nagi handing him a sports drink.

Kazuna standing up sat beside him. "So you used it hun. Black hole?" he asked.

"Haha, yeah. I am sorry I used it without your permission. But, I wasn't left with a choice. Being undersea is truly stifling." Alan replied drinking water. Rauf and Nidou eyed him silent.

"Aright… enough talks. It's time to go." Alan picked his ball up, leaving towards the pitch.

Poseidon walking before the pavilion halted before Ezekiel who looked aside indifferent. "Good job." interrupted Helios handing him a sports drink and a towel. "Hm." Poseidon accepted it.

"Vice-captain, are you feeling alright. You didn't strain yourself too much or did you?" asked Claude and Ebraham concerned. Poseidon shook his head, "Thank you, I am alright."

"Come on in and settle down why are you still standing? After all, you made my day. Seeing Alan kneel Haha!! For a moment, it felt refreshing. Good work! This king approves of you." Kenzo beamed while Seles smiled.

"It was nothing. The move he used at the end was even out of my league to be predicted." Poseidon responded. "Black hole was it…? It was indeed interesting." Ryan recalled.

"Yeah! Yeah! The ball just went in a hole and came out of it somewhere else!" explained Adam in a weird way.

"Teleportation. That's the correct way to put It." Cassiel mentioned as Seraph nodded. "And from the looks of it, it also didn't felt like one of Alan's move." said Heber.

"I thought so too, I think someone from the highschoolers owns that move." Gabriel agreed. "Since, Alan didn't felt familiar using It." Feng added.

"In the end whatever it was, I still lost over my own challenge. Seriously… up until now I hadn't realized that losing a challenge for the very first time could feel so frustrating…" Poseidon whispered clenching both of his hands together as the towel covered his head hiding his expression.

The middle schoolers looked at each other nervously. "It's Alright, sometimes defeat is real victory." Xavier encouraged patting his back as Helios stared silent.

Ezekiel hearing Poseidon's words clenched his fists cross.

"Ezekiel…" Poseidon called however, ignoring him Ezekiel grabbed his bat walking towards the pitch furious. Kenzo, Feng and Ryan along with the others stared stern.

Poseidon gazing at his back sighed silent. Helios sitting beside him apprised, "He was angry. And, he won't listen as well. So I think it's better to let him be."

Poseidon bit his lip remembering Alan's words, "Until and unless you teach a bird how to fly and hunt for food himself, don't expect him to stand strong on his own. Trust is the most important essence of our relationship as players. So, make sure to trust him even if it's for once. Who knows you might end up trusting him more than even yourself."

Clearing his head he eyed Helios resolved, "Heli…"

"Hm?" Helios asked. "After I see his progress against Alan. I think I might teach him how to fly so… will you help me?" Poseidon asked.

Helios smiled back, "Of course, I was wondering when you might say that. It's time he learns to be responsible as well." Seraph and Kenzo sighed relieved.

Xavier standing up walked over to Kenzo. "Looks like we have another matter on our hands solved." "Yeah…" Kenzo agreed.

Ezekiel walking towards the pitch glared at Alan making his way towards the batting pitch. Alan stood confused. "Hello…?" he greeted puzzled.

Ezekiel turned to him vexed, "Don't act like you don't know me with that cunning face of yours. Just hurry up and get over with this!"

Alan blinked surprised. "My, my a little angry we are here, are we? What's wrong? Did something happen?" he inquired tossing the ball up and down.

Ezekiel smirked. "What's happening hun and what's wrong? Seriously, a certain someone who is the root cause of all this mess is asking me what's wrong? That makes me laugh!" he jeered.

"What the hell! He is such a foul mouthed rascal!" Noah angered irritated.

"No, he isn't. He is just angry." Ren corrected.

"Yeah, everyone just turns angry facing Alan. Is he an anger stimulating matching or something that no matter whoever comes to face him always turns angry?" Noah commented annoyed.

"That seem to be the case at most, more or less." Aaron uttered awkwardly.

"But, his way of speaking is indeed harsh for a 1st year." Nagi turned the pages of his journal.

"First year?! Are you kidding me?!" Aigou and Orion shrieked.

"It's alright, he might be a rebellious child. It will be fine once he starts playing." Elias implied.

"Just like yourself?" Senri uttered blatantly. "Now that hurts a little…" Elias replied hurt.

"Hey, don't match my Elias with him. He isn't like that brat." Aigou fought back.

"Haha…" Ren chuckled, "Alright, alright, he was just joking. No need to take it so seriously."

"A rebellious knight indeed." Isa remarked. "So he's the knight hun." Orion repeated while Kazuna stared silent.

"My, my looks like someone really despises me a lot~" Alan expressed hurt. "Despise you? No, I'll crush you! Mark my words. Captain Helios, Vice-captain Poseidon, they would never to lose to the likes of you how dare you embarrass them. Unforgivable!" Ezekiel angered.

Alan hearing his harsh remarks he guessed, "Forceful agitation. That's the form Poseidon fears of yours." "You tend to lose control of your emotions when you witness your captain or vice-captain under a pinch. Which causes you to turn angry or agitated on your opponent just like you are on me right now. And, the only way to snap you out of it is to beat you up which I think your Captain usually does through, drowning you into a river ain't I right?" he imagined.

Ezekiel gritted. "Tch, I still can't believe Vice-captain also lost to your likes. Well forget it, Since, I'll take it back. Revenge for our team and academy!" he claimed pointing his bat towards Alan.

Alan grasping his determined sight nodded wishing, "Okay… best of luck then." "Ezekiel…" called Lucifer and Claude worried while Poseidon and Helios stood grim.

"Looks like this time I'll have to drown him in the sea when he comes back." Helios uttered perturbed.

Poseidon eyeing him and the others laughed awkwardly.

"Heli, Heli, is also cruel but he doesn't show it a lot." whispered Adam in Cassiel's ear which was clearly heard by Helios.

"And I think, I'll take Adam with me to keep Ezekiel accompanied. How about it Seraph?" he asked playfully as Seraph nodded upon his joke.

"No way!!" shrieked Adam, chills leaving his spine.

"How could you Sera, Sera! You just sold me to a devil!" he cried with tears in his eyes hiding behind Feng and Ryan who sighed.

"Is he for real…" commented Azazel and Heber.
