Magnus had promised to send a priest over to heal her wounds but she hadn't expected to see the heir of De Saude at her door. She was dressed in Priest robes with Caleb, Jenoix's right-hand man behind her. There would never be a moment of peace would there.
The Saintess ceremony would be happening soon. It would happen during the invitation of Lactia. Lumielle needed to get rid of Vera that trailed behind her. It seemed like today Cosette had come straight from the Church as the maid no longer seemed to sink into her shadow.
