9. the Battle between two general

"nfufufu, I see you as serious as always Lieutenant Heki, but I did not come as reinforcement I just took a walk to see the battle from this hills and don't have any plan on joining the army" said Ouki in joking manner which surprised all the man hearing it.

"and even more so, there is a 3000 man commander here, why don't you ask his opinion before handing out the entire army to me nfufufu" said Ouki again with he same joking manner he always use with everyone else

"Heilong unit is an independent unit and will not be participating with the whole army as one, what you decide will be something not in my place to lead Lieutenant Heki but I am still part of the whole army, so what you decide will also have my support and I will make decision after knowing what you wanted to do" said Lingxu calmly stating the fact that his unit will not be taking a neutral stance

watching the brewing of a fire in the battlefield, Lingxu started to understand the battlefield a bit more after seeing from up above "saying so, it will be boring here, so I will take my leave first" saying so he cups his hand and excuse himself from the hills

"Heilong Unit hear me, we will be going down, while Heilong Infantry will be staying posted with the rest of the reserve unit on top of the hills, Feng you will be staying and wait for Yue to come here, the rest of you come" ordered Lingxu

Shin seeing how Lingxu a man not much older than him leading such an army with such ease make his blood boil, 'one day I will beat you and stand above you as general above the heavens' while the rest of Heilong unit coming down the hills and start to join the marching band of Duke Hyou march to face the incoming Wei soldier

Ouki start to explain the type of general "youngster Shin, there is different type of general, mostly known as the 2 different one, one is like Gokei a purely strategic general who lead His army with tactics and win with brain" said Ouki slowly explain it to the youngster

"there is another one who follow his instinct and sometimes make an order who seems weird from everyone point of view, so, knowing these, youngster shin, would care to make a bet with me, who would win between the clash of those two, will it be Strategy or Instinct?" asked Ouki to Shin

as of these moment, Duke hyou army start to descend the hills and ready to engage the Wei army, which make Gokei questioned the sanity of the enemy general, at the same moment, there are seen an small unit of cavalry counting a bit more than 1500 men also charging towards Gokei frontline with a dust storm following closely behind them

"there is two bufoon in the enemy general, a mere 1500 men and dare to challenge my forntline" said Gokei as he ordered the frontline to ready themself

with each pasing second the cavalry who is charging to the frontline seems to not be slowing down or hesitating for even a second, they are closing with the same speed and vigor even after seeing such a big army infront of them

"well there is the 3rd type I guess, the one who go against everything fully confident that his men are behind him ready to help him kill whoever is infront of him" said Ouki but with a lower voice after seeing Lingxu charge

*BANGG* after the initial clash of the Heilong Unit with Lingxu, Juton, and Taidu beside him slaying whoever try to come close and killing anyone who want to try them, with their army behind them they look like an unstoppable dragon devouring everything that is infront of them

"left" Lingxu said and start to move to the left side with a sharp turn, usually a sharp and sudden turn like this would disorganized an army because of its sudden move, but unlike the norm, the Heilong Unit which Lingxu train and a lot of veteran who always follow the late General Long Sulan did not seems to budge and mind the sudden move

the unit flow trough like a river of death with asura leading in front of the army, with the Heilong unit wrecking havoc upon the army of the frontline which at the sametime even surprised Gokei, Lingxu ordered the army to turn once again and goes out the mess he created

after coming out, lingxu look at his men and see couple of them are injured but no one fall yet he just nod and then start to gave order while moving towards the enemies once again "right side, Juton take 500 go to the middle and then met me on the right" with that order came out once again the Heilong Unit wrecking havoc against the front line of Wei army

while all that happening in the frontline, Duke Hyou army of 5000 is being chipped away by the Wei relentless assault seeing this Lingxu waiting for Juton to come met him at the right side of the Wei army finally met and regroup, but even so they are still inside the horde of the Wei army.

"Lord a hundred of Qin cavalry are assisting Duke Hyou, what do we do?" said Juton seeing the Qin cavalry charging to assist duke Hyou

"move out follow closely, left out and I will not recover anyone corpse" said Lingxu moving out to assist the 100 cavalry unit led by Heki

with that order the Heilong Unit which seems silent for a moment start to roar once again following their lord charging ahead into the horde of army after blasting trough the horde of the army, the original 1500 cavalry of Heilong unit which took some damage start to move once again

"Taidu take 300, that 2 unit of army between their head quarter and the defense line, make it gone" said Lingxu giving simple order to his brother fully confident of his abilities

Taidu hearing his brother order nod and start to detach from the main unit bringing 300 men charging ahead into the Maki Shuki unit upfront while the main Heilong unit left with a thousand man still charging trough the main hq of wei

Taidu which successfully engage and slain shuki after Shin slain Maki in combat met up with the Duke Hyou army "Follow me young uns" said Duke Hyou which Taidu promptly nod and follow trough beside the duke killing anyone who dares to challenge them

on the otherside the Heilong unit led by Lingxu still penetrating the Wei line from the side almost getting closer into Gokei by the moment with Juton slaying one of the 3 commanding officer of Wei defending the left side and Lingxu manage to do the same with the other 2

both army are charging trough not caring who ever is infront of them with the sole purpose of killing Gokei the great General of Wei in this very battle
