Leylin's unit marched swiftly through Qin, determined to reach their destination quickly and prepare for the upcoming battle at Bayou.

Leylin's unit was a well-rounded force, consisting of 60 infantry soldiers. After five days of travel, they finally reached their destination—the Ouki army camp.

As Leylin approached Ouki, who was leading the army towards Bayou, he greeted him respectfully.

"How are you, Ouki-sama?" Leylin inquired.

Ouki looked at Leylin with a hint of amusement. "Oh, little Lin, aren't you with the infantry that started marching before us?" he asked.

"No, sir," Leylin replied. "We've just arrived. I wanted to discuss something with you."

Ouki chuckled. "Nfufufu... Little Lin, how quickly you've grown up. Are you proposing your love to me right now? If so, this might not be the best time," he teased.

After a moment of silence, Ouki reassured Leylin with a hint of amusement. "It was just a joke, Little Lin. Now, tell me what you want to discuss."

Leylin's expression turned serious as he spoke about his concerns regarding the battle, particularly focusing on Bayou City. He hinted at a sense of foreboding and suspected foul play.

Ouki listened attentively but appeared somewhat guarded by Leylin's words. "Tell me what's on your mind, Little Lin," he prompted.

Leylin hesitated briefly before expressing his thoughts more directly. "Sir, I believe Zhao is planning to remove you" he said earnestly.

Ouki's demeanor shifted slightly, and he responded firmly, "Little Lin, do not dwell too deeply on this matter. I am aware of the situation surrounding the battle, and I advise you not to pursue this line of inquiry further."

"Okay, sir, I won't dwell further, but I have a request," Leylin said.

"What is it, Little Lin?" Ouki asked.

"I want my unit to operate independently and not be placed under any other general's command," Leylin explained.

Ouki chuckled softly. "Nfufufu... You're planning something, Little Lin. Very well, I'll grant your request. Your unit will operate freely on the battlefield," Ouki agreed.
