Chapter - 20 Hunt

In the middle of the night, shadows swiftly entered the camps stealthily. Lin had utilized the Ghost Squad to scout the area before the battle , providing them with knowledge of the shortest routes to the camp. They moved swiftly and quietly, skillfully avoiding enemy soldiers as they infiltrated the camp.

Lin divided the unit into three parts, each heading towards a different camp. They employed the same strategy Lin had used in Dakan Plains. Lin's group reached their designated camp and observed that there were five soldiers guarding it. Swiftly and silently, they approached from behind, catching the guards by surprise. After subduing them, five members of Lin's unit donned the enemies' armor and took over the guard duty, keeping watch for any approaching foes.

Lin carefully placed a smoke bomb inside the tent. As the smoke billowed, Lin and the rest of the unit covered their mouths with cloths and entered the camp, swiftly taking down the enemies inside. Once the camp was secured, they planted a pole with a flag in front of the camp, signaling their success. Similar actions occurred with the other two groups, as they executed coordinated attacks on their respective camps.

After the successful attack, the group stealthily retreated to a secluded place in the jungle where the remaining two groups also gathered. Lin observed some of them with injuries and inquired about what happened. They explained that they sustained injuries during the camp infiltration.

Sighing, Lin turned to the unit and said, "After this battle, your training will become even more challenging." The unit collectively squealed and shivered at the thought of the intensified training that lay ahead.

As the sun rose, the Zhao army was shocked to see three enemy flags flying in the camp of the Thousand-Man Commanders. When soldiers looked inside the camp, they were stunned to find that the Thousand-Man Commanders had been defeated.

The news quickly circulated across the battlefield.

In the Hi Shin Unit, Shin approached Taku Kei, who was returning from the army camp, and asked, "What's all the commotion about with the army?"

"Storm Eagles engaged the three 1000-man commanders of Zhao last night and defeated them without any casualties," Taku Kei explained.

The entire unit was shocked, including Kyou Kai, who was visibly surprised by the news.

"What?!" "Is Ley Lin a crazy bastard?" "How did they manage to infiltrate enemy camps?" "How did they escape unscathed?" Various questions and exclamations filled the air.

"Guys, can anyone help me join their group?" one of the unit members asked eagerly, looking around.

The group exchanged looks and then Shin spoke up, trying to calm everyone down.

"Relax, guys. Even though the Storm Eagles are impressive, our Hi Shin Unit will become even more famous."

In the Qin army headquarters,

"Nfufufu... he brings me surprises every day. Now I'm excited to see what they will do tomorrow," Ouki remarked with a chuckle.

"Yes, sir. I also want to see what their next plan will be," Tou replied.
