Arc 1 - Chapter 24: Easy Kills

"Hey, Chikao. Not that I mind, but how come no one is paying attention to us while we're running?" Momoyo asks Chikao while moving at the same pace as her boyfriend, which is pretty fast and making all humans not part of the supernatural world in town to only see two blurs passing them, with a gale hitting them out of nowhere. This caused some accidents, but not life-threatening.

"I placed a few spells on us, to make it so almost everyone can't detect us nor see us unless we standing still directly in front of them." Chikao said to Momoyo, for he had cast these spells on them before they'd left the haunted house. "Save us the trouble of someone calling the local polices on us." Chikao has seen many routes, where the locals cause more harm than helping by getting involved in something beyond their league. Even Chikao would do his best to get away if he was in their shoes and he was for a few years. Avoiding fighting something beyond his level has saved his life more than he could expect.

"Did I ever tell you how happy I am to have you around?" Momoyo wasn't one-bit envious of her boyfriend, for she has her own thing and he has his own thing.

"Plenty of time." Chikao replied, throwing out a few spells meant to stop Nyx from fully recover right away via aim at his own shadow and using that as the medium to attack Nyx's domain. While at the same time continue to use [Calamity Inducement] on Nyx, to prevent her from coming back at him at 100%. As long Nyx never reaches back to her peak condition, then Chikao's group survival rate will never go below the doubt digits range.

"Well, I should say it more often, because by now, if it's just me. I would have to deal with consistent enemies before I recover enough [Ki] to blast all of them away before I call it a day." Momoyo recalls all the time she had to deal with multiple enemies at once and has already used too much [Ki] to heal herself. Before nearly being overwhelmed by the enemy side if it wasn't for having home-field advantage, then Momoyo would have fallen that day.

"And I'm glad to have you around too." Chikao said to Momoyo, who smile in delight, not realizing the actual reason why Chikao is glad for Momoyo around. After all, even with [Human Magic] and being at the [Mid Sequence 6: Calamity Priest] wasn't enough to deal with all this by himself. In fact, Chikao has foreseen the outcome if he didn't tell Momoyo to bring Asia with them. It was not pretty, for Chikao, Momoyo, and even Asia would have faced a worse fate than death. For there won't be a Rias and Issei nearby to save her from being captured by that one Devil that aiming for Asia.

"How far are we before we meet with the Fallen Angel?" Momoyo asks Chikao as she would have used [Ki-Sense] to locate the Fallen Angel, but she knew how important it is to save even a drop of [Ki] that could be a big game-changer in the most critical moments.

"Not too far." Chikao said to Momoyo as he rapidly sees all the routes with [Numeromancy] for the best outcomes. Including the best ones to be used as the foundations for future routes.

10 minutes later*

"So, that's where Kokabiel is hiding, huh?" Momoyo looking up ahead where the factory is and it's very worn down and abandons. Not a place most people would be in, but it's a great place to hide from people. Kokabiel currently, Momoyo can easily sense his presence in the factory from where they are right now. Still a good distance away from the factory too.

"Yeah, and do you mind covering me. We need to kill Kokabiel quietly, so sorry, but you won't be the one to kill this Fallen Angel." Chikao grim, not wanting to face a squad of high-ranked Fallen Angels, where the weakest are 3 pair wings while the rest are higher and there would be one or two 6 pair wings Fallen Angels among them. After they've found out who is the one that killed Kokabiel and would send Fallen Angels to hunt the person down. Something Momoyo told him of her past, where she had to deal with something similar to this and it took months before the Fallen Angels call it quits. However, it looks like they no longer could hold their anger and go all out at Momoyo, where she has a 60% survival rate.

"You sure?" Momoyo knew how destructive and loud her martial arts are, including her family and the one she still learning right now.

"Yeah, I got a way to deal with Kokabiel from here. I just need time to prepare so cover me if anyone shows up." Chikao knew there is a 1% of anyone unwanted aka Devils showing around here. But, better to be safe than sorry and be fast about this. Because that 1% will increase massively if they stay in this area too long.

"Got it." Momoyo nods, then glances at Asia on her shoulder, who is still out trying to catch her breath.

Chikao put his handgun back into its holster along with the katana into its sheath, then took the holster on his thigh along with the handgun in it and toss it in the air before with a snap of his fingers. Eradicating the [Modified Handgun], for Chikao no longer needs it and he already has a new handgun in mind that does a better job.

"Why you destroy your gun?" Momoyo looks at her boyfriend baffled by his action.

"I only continued to use it due to Nyx's presence and not want her to know too much." Chikao replied while using [Creation of All Things Technique] to create the [Trident - Silver Horn] from The Irregular at Magic High School series used by the main character Shiba Tatsuya.

The [Trident - Silve Horn] is a gun-shaped [Casting Assistant Device (CAD)]. Which is a spell support processor. A device incorporates synthetic materials (artificially manufactured Neurons) that convert [Psion] signals into electric signals, using the [Psion] from a [Magic Ritual (Sequence)] to produce a collection of [Electronic Magic] - the [Activation Sequence]. CADs allow the processing of all the necessary components for [Magic] in a single moment. In detail, these devices help accelerate the invocation of [Magic], as well as provide stability. CADs replace traditional tools such as spell chants, talismans, staves, tomes, hand seals, [Magic Circles], and other traditional methods of invoking [Magic]. It is a tool of necessity for any Magicians in the world of The Irregular at Magic High School.

Furthermore, through [Numerical Precision]. He easily discovers the [Psion] is [Mana] in this Highschool DxD world and Chikao have seriously wanted to recreate many things from The Irregular At Magic High School once he had obtained [Numerical Precision] and gaining access to [Human Magic]. However, among the many routes created by [Numeromancy] had led to his early death 99% of the time and he couldn't figure out why until his [Numeromancy] and [Numerical Precison] reached their present ranks.

As to why Chikao wanted the [Trident - Silver Horn] is due to it fitting the right medium to use the [Erasure Element]. Of course, he will continue to use [Magic Circles] even if he can just create other types of CADs, but that would lower his survival rates massively due to that CADs use [Mana] while Chikao can use [Magic Circle] that doesn't cost him anything other than the time to think about the calculation. Making Chikao extremely cautious of thinking about making another CAD. Just the [Trident - Silver Horn] alone would bring chaos in this world. Yet, Chikao still made it due to this one of the main cores to help him counter many foes as long he made sure not to let too many people know about it.

Plus, among all the scattered memories he possesses in his head. The Irregular at Magic High School is on the top list of nearly complete sets of information about that world. Of course, Chikao doesn't know EVERYTHING about this series, but plenty enough that would make him very overpowered at the get-go. Yet, there is still important information missing. Like [Decomposition Magic], where he can't quite figure out the equations to use this [Magic] until he obtained the [Erasure Element].

However, that doesn't mean Chikao won't try to figure a way to create a CAD to just use purely calculation like with his version of the [Human Magic] of Highschool DxD without the needs of [Mana]. Because Chikao knew that there will be a time he won't be able to use the [Human Magic] due to whatever reasons in the future he would face. Especially when Chikao did a trial run of seeing many times his [Magic] became unavailable due to traps and among other things to stop him from using [Human Magic]. So yeah, Chikao will have to put the idea of making a customized made CAD that will allow him to use his version of [Human Magic] no matter what.

Anyway, Chikao point the [Trident - Silver Horn] in the direction where Kokabiel is and pull the trigger to activate the spell: [Mist Dispersion] that directly decomposes the physical structure of the information target aka the Fallen Angel. Where Kokabiel's body is being decomposed into the basic molecules such as ions and the basic elements by interfering with the structural information.

Chikao can 'see' Kokabiel dissipate to dust, transform into steam and then scatter. This spell does not travel through physical space so it can be aimed through physical objects and is not limited by distance by any means.

"What the..." Momoyo hasn't stop locking onto Kokabiel's [Ki] and was surprised it disappear instantly without any warning and look at her boyfriend in disbelief, for he is the only one who should have caused this. Of course, Momoyo would think that Kokabiel hid his [Ki],. but she has long developed the method to always be able to sense people's [Ki] no matter how well they are hidden. So, the only way someone is able to stop her from sensing their [Ki] is either they are dead or they enter a special room that blocks any types of energy, including [Ki], from escaping the room and Momoyo know for sure that wasn't the case with Kokabiel since he didn't move from his spot once.

"Okay, we should leave now." Chikao put the [Trident - Silver Horn] in the new holster he made for it with [Creation of All Things Technqiue], which he secured on his right thigh. The exact same spot where his destroyed [Modified Handgun] was. "I'm betting that the Devils in the Underworld are now noticing that the batch of Devils that came here hasn't reported anything and soon this entire town will be filled with many Devils."

"Don't need to tell me twice." Momoyo agrees to leave. "You okay, Asia?" Momoyo can see that Asia finally regains back enough stamina to move on her own, but Momoyo knew she would have to continue carrying Asia. After all, this former Holy Maiden never have worked out and would be left behind if it just her and Chikao running on their own. No question about it.

"Yes. I'm fine. Also, why did we leave Nyx behind?" Asia still didn't figure out why Nyx wasn't with them and wonder why they left in such a hurry.

"Let's just say, that Nyx had different plans for everyone. Chikao and I didn't like it one bit." Momoyo said to Asia. Then, Momoyo picks Asia up and back onto her shoulder. "Make sure you keep your mouth shut or risk biting your tongue, Asia."

Asia didn't get to say anything as Momoyo and Chikao have already started rushing straight out of Kuoh Town without stopping for even a moment. Even then, they didn't stop after exiting Kuoh Town and kept on moving until they miles away. While also avoiding the area that's out in the open and even avoiding the forest too.

A week later*

"So, how long we have to stay low for?" Momoyo asks Chikao, where they have been staying in a random town, where there are less than 5000 people living here.

"Today should be our last day before we can go out in the open." Chikao said to Momoyo while finished adding another spell into the set of spells made from [17th Period Math Time] together with [Anti-Divination] to prevent anyone from searching them and would think thrice before anyone realize it is them while out in public and seen by someone searching for them. By attaching the [Magic Circles] onto the back of their necks. Even Asia has one too. Furthermore, Chikao placed a few spells onto his weapons, so no one would pay attention to them until he uses them. Making it easier for Chikao to carry his weapons around in public. Even Momoyo and Asia temporarily forgot about them before remembering about them whenever Chikao pull them out while they're looking at him.

"Sweet, I was about to go stir crazy for being indoors for an entire week. If I didn't know how important it was to stay low. I would have long left to do whatever." Momoyo knew how dangerous it is for them; well, mainly for Chikao and Asia. Momoyo would be fine as long she is on the move and kills whoever gets in her way. This is something she has done many times, but this time, Momoyo has companions, making this option she always uses to become impossible to take.

"I can tell." Chikao cracks his neck, for today is the best time to make their moves, and by that. Chikao needs to take his group to meet a special someone to give them protection while they continue to steadying train without any worrying about unwanted people coming down on them. Well, that is one of the doable plans, but if possible, then he will aim for the best plans he has come up with.

Chikao brings up his interface, checking his acting process so far.

Look like all those times he evaded Nyx's range with the help of [Calamity Inducement] and used on those of people like Devils, Fallen Angels, and even Angel themselves trying to hunt Chikao's group down. Especially the Devils, where ever since Rias has shown how powerful she became just under Chikao's teaching for just a single week is enough to make many Devils go crazy to get him to be in their peerage, because other than making one of their Devil become this powerful.

What about training other?

That question alone was plenty enough to make Chikao's value go way up and if that wasn't enough. Rias accidentally let out the slip, that Chikao has somehow replicated the [Power of Destruction]. This fact alone has caused a huge calamity hovering over Chikao. Many Devils have pride as either their main sin or part of the set and they did not like how a low life human Magician manages to replicate something of theirs. Leading to 80% of the Devils planning to hunt Chikao down, kill him and revive him into a Reincarnated Devil and demand how he has done this before killing him again a second time, but this time for good.

This is the same with the Angels, but instead of directly killing him. They will seal him away and slowly being brainwashed to become their secret weapon against other factions. Talk about holy shit.

The Fallen Angels didn't care about this one bit and just want him dead.

So yeah, Chikao wasn't welcome in the Biblical Faction in any way. Even Rias couldn't do a thing about it from what he was told in the many futures, where she was forced to do many things to him in the name of helping the Devil race. Nevertheless, Chikao didn't care about that and have already wiped his hands clean of Rias. He has helped Rias escape her arranged marriage and in exchange for the chance of obtaining the equation for the [Power of Destruction], which he gained more than he realizes. Making this whole thing worth the risks.

"Can't wait for us to do something outdoor." Momoyo grin at Chikao and Asia. "Maybe head to a restaurant if possible. Is it?" Momoyo asks Chikao.

"It's possible." Chikao replied, then look at Asia, who is putting on her boots. "How about you Asia, would you like to do something?"

"Can I pick which restaurant we can go to?" Asia didn't have much desire, so she just thinks about the first thing that comes to mind.

"I'm fine with it. Momoyo?" Chikao agreed to let Asia pick the restaurant and look at Momoyo, to see if she agrees or not.

"Sure, I'm not that picky. As long we get some peach juice afterward. I haven't had any for a while." Momoyo loves anything peach flavored, mostly peach juice than anything else.

"No problem with that." Chikao has learned lots of things about Momoyo over the time they stayed indoors. Even Asia has learned many things from Momoyo and Chikao to pass the time while staying low.

An hour later*

"I'm kinda surprised no one from the supernatural jump us while we were having our meal." Momoyo said to Chikao before taking a sip from her recently purchased a cup of peach juice.

Chikao didn't say anything, not that he could say that he predicted the right time for them to have an uninterrupted meal without affecting the many available routes. Furthermore, he continues to use the [Calamity Indurement] to make sure anyone dare use [Teleportation Magic] to be very careful or become lost forever, with there is a high chance of death. This is how he has been acting in secret before Momoyo and Asia, while also in public secretly during the night when both Momoyo and Asia are asleep.

Chikao causes calamity throughout the world while making sure to be in the center of it during the night, where he can attack Nyx when she is supposed to be at her strongest, but with the [Numeromancy], [Numerical Precision], and [Fortune]. He has long caused misery to many people, but this just makes them become extremely eager to find Chikao once it was discovered these unfortunate events happening to them is the moment they're making any move against Chikao.

Of course, Chikao found many routes, where those genius people would use this as a way to locate Chikao's present location, but Chikao counter this by causing many deaths before any reports were delivered on time. Therefore, Chikao made sure that this entire week no one could find his group.

"Where are we going?" Asia asks Chikao, for he is the one leading them to somewhere and they weren't planning to go back for another night in a hotel in this town.

"Well, we're going to meet someone." Chikao said to Asia, causing Momoyo to look at him with interest.
