Karmic Primordial

First book, please be lenient. This book was heavily inspired by Supremacy Games. Check it out, it's awesome. Dark, so dark... but it's comfy... sleepy... ...I woke up again? Birth

Dark, so dark... but it's comfy... sleepy...

...I woke up again? Nothing changed back to sleep...

I opened my eyes. I was too stiff to move. I guess I'll close my eyes-

CRACK

There was a whole in the ceiling. I looked at it and saw a face. It was glossy. He was a young man, he had white hair, light blue, freezing yet gentle eyes. He smiled and said:

"Hello, newborn."

He reached his hands in to scoop him up. What the newborn didn't know was that the man's hands were completely steady, with absolutely no shaking.

"A butterfly, he remarked, without starting as a caterpillar.

"Perfect from the start, as expected from one of us."

Another sagely voice called out. The baby turned his head. He didn't understand the language, but he understood the intent instead.

The sage was a tall, strong old man with brown hair and brown beard and broad shoulders. He smiled kindly and stood still like a mountain.

"Indee-"

BOOOOOM

Suddenly, a lightning bolt hit the ground. The butterfly, looking closer, could see a thin, white, crystalline barrier.

The white-hair young man turned to look at the explosion. His eyes were frosty.

" Hahahah-"

"Are tou trying to blow up the child?"

With that, the middle-aged man who came out of the explosion stopped laughing and scratched his head with a guilty expression.

"Enough, the old man said, let's bring him to the Gathering."

In a certain part of the Universe, there was a massive room looking like a conference room with a circular table. A massive one, at that. There were thrones around the table. Some were decorated with various effects. One was shining brightly, another had plants growing on it. Each one of these thrones had an individual on it. Some of them were humanoids, while others weren't. But all of them had a extremely powerful aura.

A displeased voice rung out.

"Why are we here? What was worth for all of us to gather?"

A young women glared at another women, who was completely calm.

The others turned their gazes at her too.

"What was so important as to ask us to meet up in reality?"

One of them asked.

At that moment, the large doors flung open. 3 men of varying ages walked in.

"Carshin, Thanas, Gordin. Nice for you to join us? Why did you call us?

A colorless cube straightforwardly asked.

Carshin, the white-hair man, didn't say anything but melted the ice sphere. Inside was a beautiful red and ethereal butterfly that looked a little transparent.

Everyone shot up from their seats and seemingly teleported next to the butterfly.

"He is one of us."

"Yes.''

"But why was he born late?"

Gordin, the old man, spoke up.

"His egg was caught in a cosmic storm. He would've been born later if we hadn't chanced by him."

Another wave of clattering broke out.

"What's his element?"

Everybody turned quiet at that question.

However, Thanas, the last one, said:

"We don't know.

But the people weren't discouraged. Thhey could wait for a while.

They already have. For a long time too.
