It was a bright day as the sunlight was bursting through his curtins and gaps of light was hitting his face

Kayden eventually woke up to light burning his eyeballs

"My EYES, MY GODAMN EYES"

Which caused Kayden to get up and pull the curtins together for closely but as he pulled them the entire curtin got torn off

"*hiss the light *hiss*" Kayden was acting like a vampire at this point

After a couple seconds his adapted to the light

'When was the curtins so weak could it be" he started to think since he also now noticed he felt stronger than before

"Could it be I naturally awakened"

You see there are two types awakens in the world, they are called Natural Awakened and also Transformed Awakened. A transformed awakened is what occurs when a normal person kills a monster their body will essentially evolve allowing to also take contracts with Eternals to become stronger and kill monsters but the downside is usually they have to be 18+ for safety reasons. Natural Awakened are those who will one day wake up feeling changes in their body this can vary from 8 to 80, natural awakens are sought out more because they all obtain an extra skill to begin with which surpass skills that most start out such as a small 5% agility skill that a transformed may start out with a natural will start with the same 5% agility skill and an additional one which could be a 20% agility skill. That concludes the basics of awakens

Kayden felt his blood pumping at the thought of having been able to have awakened as a natural awaken

"Ok deep breaths"

"Inhale.... and exhale"

"What did I have say again to see my information.. mmmm... Information. Status. Records" he started to list off words to try open his status but couldn't remember the keyword

"Ministry of Records"

"I was sure that was it though *sigh*" he felt a bit disappointed but he probably got too exicited at the thought of being a natural awaken

"Get the fuck out you sad ass" he started sticking his middle finger at the message

"Screw it, it's my day off and i'm not going to be bothered by this shit" Kayden said before changing

Even though Saint Plasebo had clas seven days a week those who scored top 10 in results would be able to be absent for once a week of their choice and Kayden happened to be 7th in the ranking and he chose to pick a Wednesday because why not

While he was changing into his shirt he noticed the book of yokai and remembering about the scene he witnessed of the kappa

Kayden grabbed the book while only half dressed and threw it in his small trash can where it barely fitted the book

"With that out the way, time to head out"

After finishing dressing himself he headed out to a cafe

*Reinheld Mansion*

A handsome man with nicely gelled orange hair was standing in the porch as he taking a sip of vintage champagne from a glass as he looked ahead

"Young Master the third years in schools are going to hunt monsters to evolve we have recieved a invitation from Heinka, Saint Plasebo and The Official Hunter Academy" a man in his 80 with a massive build and even though he looked old he was a strong veteran awaken

"Set some free time in my schedule for Heinka since they always have good talents and Saint Plasebo"

"Understood young master"

"Thank you now I need some time for myself" he said dismissing the man

*Cafe Neven*

"Waiter I would like the Neven's breakfast and mushroom soup" Kayden asked a waiter politely

His breakfast was brought to him which consisted of a burrito, potato wrapped in bacon and scrambled eggs along with the mushroom stew he ordered

He ate them elegantly but when he ate the bacon the bacon was horrible from the smell and taste that Kayden left it to the side but he ate everything else and he left a tip of 9 Derit

*Derit is the currency used in America and most countries since 200 years ago.

'That bacon was disgusting but Cafe Neven has always been a great place with decent food it might have been expired ingrediants and a cook that wasn't bothered' he thought

"I wonder how tasty those orbs would be"

"Wait what the hell am I thinking about" he suddenly felt disgusted by what he just said

As he was walking by his shirt was tugged weakly by an old woman holding a metal container

Kayden looked at her with pity and he gave her a couple coins which added up to 10 derit

"Thank you young man" she said after seeing the amount she was almost crying

"It's no problem madam"

"May you be blessed with sucess for the future" she prayed for his wellbeing

"Thank you for your blessing old lady" he cupped his hand and bowed to her

*Kayden Room*

Kayden was seen picking the book once again from the bin and started to read it without even realizing it

"Wait what's happening with me..." once again he fell into to ground

A kappa was seen standing infront of a scared human just before the Kappa was ready to pounce. The human held a cucumber and was offering it to the kappa. The kappa ate the cucumber and they parted ways

"That's not so bad"

In the book of yokai another bit was added

"Kappa's often ate cucumbers given by humans as a replacement since it was easier for both sides"

"I know for a fact that was not there beforehand this must be a magic artifact"

As soon as Kayden saw this he was braced for pain since awakening was meant to be painful

"Wait what, I honestly expected a lot of pain or a transformation like becoming more muscular or something"

After minutes of looking at himself to see if there were any changes but not a single change was present

"Let's see does this work" Kayden wasn't sure was he hallucinating since he didn't feel any different
