The Beginning

Metamorph sighed.

"Welp, we'd better get going then. It's a long way to the eastern continent."

"Why are we leaving now of all times?! We have to…"

"Protect the students? Megaphone, as our former instructor you should know well how Leo operates. Our absence is a part of these students training. Meanwhile, we'll be handling business of our own…"

"Geez, I guess we have no choice, get us a jet someone!"

Metamorph, in the form of a dragon and Gastro, in the form of a green gas cloud, were already racing through the skies.

"We can't be late Gastro! You remember last time we were late?!"

"Please leave that in the past! I'd almost forgotten it!!!"

--back at the Legend Faction

"You'll have to do better than that Mark, even at fifty percent I can match your power and speed, though it's a hell of a workout!"

Mark and Garrick stood in a stalemate. Mark grinned.

"Try this then!!!"

Mark disappeared, leaving a trail of flames in his wake. Mark landed blow after blow, significantly increasing his speed. Garrick smiled and jumped back, flinging shards of bone at Mark. Mark raised his hand, and a wall of flames grew up in front of him, turning the shards to dust. Mark motioned with his hand, turning his wall into fire balls aimed at Garrick from all directions. Garrick just narrowly dodged them all when Mark came slamming into his chest, knocking him down and putting a sword to his throat!

"It looks like you underestimated…"

Mark looked back to see a clone made of bones, before feeling a slap across his neck.

"And you'd be dead just like that!"

Mark sighed.

"Just when I thought I had you, Garrick!"

"Although you proved me wrong, you still allowed me to outsmart you! You can be aggressive but keep your wit about you! You of all people should've been able to see that!"

Mark groaned, He hated to admit it, but Garrick was right. He stood.

"Let's go again!!!"

"You got it Mark!!!"

Adrian found himself staring into the eyes of what he could only call a monster! Adrianna thrashed him, beating him with nothing nut her pink, glowing fists. Her telekinesis enforced her punch, making it tremendously more powerful. Even with his Halo, he was having trouble keeping with her. Her eyes were wide, and she looked more determined than ever. She pummeled him into the ground with all her might! Tony laughed as he dodged his sister's attack.

"What's so funny?"

"Adrianna's kicking the shit out of Adrian! I didn't think she had it in her!"

Tammy rolled her eyes, hit Tony with a punch so fast he'd he never seen it coming.

"Your blind if you didn't see the girl's strength!"

Tony stood slowly raising a hand and blowing Tammy away.

"I never said I didn't think she was strong enough… I didn't think she had that switch…"

Tony had the power of the wind, hence his name, Gust! Tammy had the speed of the wind and took on the name Breeze! Gust, Breeze, and the rest of the Legend Faction trained every day, for the next three months, and at night…

--a month and a half later

"Everyone, we just got a call!!! Up, NOW!!!"

Garrick screamed at the top of his lungs! Adrianna sighed. Everyone had just bathed and gotten comfortable. Mark and Adrian sat their controllers down, disappointed. And Tammy put away the cards, taking both Tony and Adrianna's hands. They all were exhausted. There was an attack every night by Blue Oni, and sometimes in numbers that took all night to eliminate. But tonight, they had no clue what was coming.

They were in uniform and in the skies in less than a minute, waiting for further instruction. Garrick and Adrianna had small earpieces in to let them hear their instructions from Kane's HQ Department.

Adrianna and Garrick shared a look. Garrick frowned and took off! He used a jet pack to make up for his lack of flight. Adrianna took a deep breath. After some test they ran they saw Adrianna fit to be their co-captain, being smarter than Adrian, but more stable in tough spots than Mark. And she'd learned quickly what it meant to be co-captain.

"Alright, follow me!!! Looks like another all-nighter!"

Mark grinned, looking at Adrian and Adrianna.

"We'll see about that!"

Tammy and Tony turned. Tony sighed.

"Just tell them where to go, we'll meet up with them in the middle! If it's that bad it should be an entire Faction on each side. But I know that look…"

Tammy laughed. Mark frowned.

"We were in the middle of a game, Archangel!!!"

"And I'll be damned if we don't finish this one tonight, Hellfire!!!"

Adrianna smiled.

"Head north, and you'll see them in the middle of town!"

Mark smiled as he and Adrian took off.

"Don't fall to far behind! And none of you better get hurt!!!"

Mark and Adrian took off, itching for a fight! With their last month being constant fighting, be it each other by day and the enemy by night, everyone was a bit agitated that night, teetering over the edge…

Leo laughed manically! The Table of Black stood before him in shambles. Within the Mountain were corridors all throughout, weaving in an out like a maze. And within the past moth and a half, Leo had the Table wipeout all the dragons in the Mountain. Megaphone shouted.

"Your insane!!! You brought all the way out here to a foreign continent slaughter some overgrown pets!!!"

Leo frowned.

"You're a bigger idiot than I thought! These dragons you see were once conquered by none other than Danny Pac! Which means we should be seeing company right about…"

There was a thunderous roar outside. Leo grinned as the exhausted Table of Black began looking around. Metamorph walked up to Leo, grabbing him by his shirt collar.

"What's you angle Leo? Why are we really here?!"

Leo shoved Metamorph away, brushing himself off.

"We are here for three reasons! First, we eliminated the dragons, second, we'll reduce the enemy's numbers from the source. This is a continent overrun by Oni, and the only continent us humans haven't colonized. Which brings me to point three. Whoever our enemy is, I'm sure they left me some clues here…"
