That One with the Best Match! End

"AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!"

After about 10 seconds of flight, followed by a gut wrenching 10 seconds of falling, Ryuga and the Smash finally touched down!

They landed mere feet away from a section of the massive Sky wall!

The Smash made a small crater as it pounded the ground, it tossed Ryuga down and away with enough force to kill most people.

"Urk...blerg..."

Ryuga rolled and mitigated a small amount of the force, but still took a lot of damage! He threw up a mouthful of blood and barely managed to rise to his feet.

The Smash knocked its two massive hands together and then closed the 10 foot gap quickly while swinging one of those fists at Ryuga, the battered man managed to duck the wide, powerful swing that had been aimed at his head.

Ryuga grunted and valiantly charged forward with his shoulder into the monster's chest! It paused and seemed confused for a moment, as if it was wondering why this little thing was still able to move.

Ryuga took this as his chance to get a few shots in and after a deep breath he fired off multiple lefts and rights in rapid succession, he willed himself to fight the monster with all he had!

Ryuga was pissed off that no one would take his side and believe in him, he used this and the natural urge to survive to give this ugly behemoth a taste of his rage!

Like an unshakeable mountain, the Smash just stood there and took the blows, after a few moments however, its body started moving faster than Ryuga could react! He flew through the air and rolled away again, coughing up another couple mouthfuls of blood!

"Ugh..." Ryuga winced and was only able to get up to his forearms and knees, as if he was kneeling to the Smash. It banged it's hands together and started simply walking towards Ryuga, it was as if the Smash had no reason to run towards it's target any longer. Ryuga was in trouble!

The smash stopped several feet away from Ryuga however, it looked to the right at something that was approaching from behind Ryuga's position. A familiar voice called out.

"Fighting a Smash barehanded...You've got real guts kid." A pair of mismatched red and blue sneakers, attached to a figure wearing blue fitted jeans and an extra long grey hooded top under a trench coat strolled past Ryuga to confront the Smash.

Sento looked down at the beaten young man, he was a mess. Ryuga looked back up at Sento in a mix of amazement, pain and confusion.

Sento flashed a smile down at Ryuga and then looked up towards the Smash, his face now growing serious. He narrowed his eyes at the monster and stated calmly. "Ill take it from here." He then produced a black device out from under his coat.

It was the 'Driver' that he used to transform into Kamen Rider Build! The sleek device had several silver tubes implanted on its surface, along with a circular, gear type wheel on the front. The side of the driver had a red handle and grip attached to it. The silver gear on the front was called the Vortex Charger. This small unassuming piece was actually a energy generator unit.

By turning the red handle, or the 'Vortex Lever' as Sento called it, energy would be created and the internal 'Nitro Dynamo' engine would also become active. 

There was a spot on the device where two of the bottles that Sento carried with him could be fitted into, it was simply known as 'Twin Fullbottle Slots'. 

Sento held the device up to his midsection, as he did, a yellow and black belt shot out of the driver! It wrapped itself around his waist and connected back to the the other side of the driver, securing it to Sento's body. He pulled that same red bottle out that he had shaken during his scuffle with Ryuga earlier, alongside it, in his other hand was a matching blue bottle.

"Now, let's begin the experiment." Sento raised his hands up and looked over to the blue bottle, then back to the red one. He started shaking them up and down quickly. The particles inside the bottles started to glow and react violently! 

The Smash started to walk again but only made it two more feet before pausing again. As the bottles were shaken, a white energy was produced by the bottles, solidifying into white, mathematical equation constructs! They floated by the now confused Smash, even if the creature had any sense beyond hunting and killing it would not have been able to comprehend the complexities flowing past it on both sides! 

The same could be said for Ryuga...He was extremely confused by the phenomenon being produced by this strange guy who had once been attacking him, but now for some reason was standing between him and certain death?

Ryuga's mouth hung open, his eyes didn't move from the man with the shaking bottles for even a moment!

The bottles had been agitated enough for Sento's liking now. He moved the little caps on the tops of the bottles sideways. Both of them clicked as they rotated. 

Sento spun the red bottle upside down and planted it smoothly into the left side of the Build Driver's 'Full Bottle Slots' receptacle, without even looking at what he was doing. A red, holographic image bearing the head of a rabbit appeared in front of the bottle, similar to how the golden lion hologram appeared when he used the yellow bottle to produce his bike earlier in the café. 

The Red rabbit looked angular and kind of pissed off. A small carrot floated above its head. 

Before the image could fade away, Sento followed suit with the blue bottle, flipping it and plugging it in beside the red bottle. Blue light sprung up in front of the last bottle in the form of a tank hologram!

It's barrel was impressively large.

Once both of the bottles holograms were glowing beside each other, a rich voice rang out from the belt.

"RABBIT! TANK!...BEST MATCH!"

The light from the belt and bottles grew stronger, their growth matched the speed of Sento's lips as they curved up into a wicked, cocky smile.

He grabbed the Vortex Lever and started turning it, faster and faster! As he did, the circular Vortex Charger started to rotate and glow red, it was extremely flashy! The Red and Blue particles started to expand and seep into the generator and the device through the tubes provided!

Inside the glowing driver, the red and blue essence particles were sent screaming past many gears, pistons and cogs, through pneumatic tubes and into what Sento coined 'Building Modules'.

The Building Modules are a retractable expansion device built into the Twin Fullbottle Slots. During transformation, it uses some of the seemingly endless supply of essence particles to develop the 'Snap Ride Builder', a special pre programmed compression device. 

It now looked as if clear tubes were being produced out of nowhere from the center of the belt! They took on the shape of what looked like plastic model runners.

Clang! Bang! Pop! Clang! Bang! Pop!

The driver made furious, yet melodic sounds as the red and blue materials now flowed from it through the clear tubes! Some tubes had moved out and formed behind Sento earlier when they were first making the base of the Snap Ride Builder.

Both ends started to produce half of an armored body. They took on the shape of what looked like more plastic model runners, which were themselves connected to the flashy armor pieces. The armor pieces were clearly the main subject of the 'model kit'.

One side was blue and black, the other red and black, both sides hardened visibly and looked impossibly tough!

By now Ryuga had managed to get to his feet, which was a feat all its own! He held his right shoulder while his eyes remained glued to the glowing belt around Sento's waist!

"ARE YOU READY!?"

The belt called out again, waiting for confirmation.

Sento took on a fighting pose for a moment before moving his body to mimic the same position that the armored body halves were in, matching their poses completely.

"Henshin!" 

Sento called out the transformational word, which was also confirmation to go ahead for the belt.

Both runners rushed towards Sento and met in the middle, encapsulating him in the flashy blue and red suit! Sento 'snapped' out of the mold and the excess runners while walking forward. The base and tubes of the mold turned into clear particles while being carried away with the wind, disappearing faster than they had been formed.

There was a small puff of white smoke rolling off the gorgeous suit, it was an bi-product produced from the armor cooling. 

Sento, now Kamen Rider Build, swung his right arm around and ended up in a cool pose. It quite clearly wasn't his first time at this, as it was right in time for the belt to announce his form.

"THE FULLMETAL MOONSAULT!...RABBITTANK!...YEAH!"

"What the heck!?" Ryuga's mind was being blown by what he was witnessing!

Build looked over at Ryuga and saluted him with his right hand, his left blue hand was resting on his hip, you couldn't see his face, but his body posture oozed confidence!

"I've found the winning formula." His tone exceeded his posture.

Build lowered himself in to a crouch, with his left, red leg forward. The suit was matching yet not matching when the part's sides had been forged; the legs, arms and other parts of the suit had their colors staggered.

While he was lowering himself down, a set of white bands on his leg armor started to glow and get closer together, as if his leg were a giant spring, being compressed with energy!

With a flash of red, Build disappeared from view! He reappeared right in front of the Smash, and it looked like he had more or less teleported!

Build reappeared in the air slightly above the creature in a position ready to deliver a haymaker of a punch, which he did!

The Smash staggered back from the mighty blow to its chest and Build was right on its tail, following up with a left cross! The Kamen Rider took a half step back before turning side ways and delivering a powerful kick to its flank! 

That same foot pulled back halfway and then snapped to hit the same spot! The moment that leg touched down, the other came up to push kick the Smash back again!

Build didn't let up and pursued the Smash, pummeling it with elbows and jabs, finally letting loose with the same barrage of lefts and right that Ryuga had tired earlier. This time it had a much different effect! 

"ORG!" The Smash cried out in pain as it pushed its massive fist towards the blue and red armored man that had hurt it in retaliation. Build stepped backwards as the fist approached. The Smash missed and started to pull its fist back to try again!

Before it could start to pull back, Build had already leapt onto the top of it's hand, using it as a springboard to sail 20 feet in the air, doing flips and twists as he over top of his adversaries head!

The Rider's blue and red eye lenses flashed in the sunlight as he rotated through the air, he landed and with a thought, his belt produced another tube, leading towards the Rider's outstretched hand! It produced his melee weapon, the Drill Crusher!

With a golden glow it materialized from the tube into his hand! The tube once again turned into loose particles, blowing away and scattering into nothing.

Build rushed back towards the Smash and started wailing on him, causing massive amounts of sparks to fly everywhere as he slashed and kicked at him! 

Clang! Thud! Zing! Clang!

The Smash tried to fight back but the only thing it could hit was the air where Build had just been a moment earlier, it would miss and Build would capitalize on the Smash's mistakes! Anyone versed in combat would be able to tell that this Kamen Rider was already quite seasoned when it came to fighting and strategy! 

Build jabbed at it's middle 'head' with his Drill Crusher, nicking it and almost going through, if it weren't for the Smash falling back, he would have pierced it much deeper instead of deflecting off as the beast retreated.

The Smash rolled backwards and hopped back onto its feet, it was like it wasn't tired at all from the exchange and it decided to come back for round two!

Build pulled out another bottle and shook it several times. It was the one that he had just acquired from the 'Needle Smash'. He removed the red bottle on the left, replacing it with the glowing white one!

A little spikey white hologram popped up in front of the driver.

"HEDGEHOG!"

The Driver called out the name of this new bottle while Build started to crank on the Vortex Lever again. Round and round it went, repeating the process from earlier again.

"ARE YOU READY?"

Kamen Rider Build gave his Driver permission to replace the red armor with the new, white hedgehog bottle particles. 

"Build up!" 

The process was more simplified this time, seeing as it wasn't a best match, the Red particles merely faded away while glowing at the same time. New nearly identical white armor replaced what used to be the red rabbit side. The white portions of his new armor set was very spikey! Each spine looked terribly pointy and sharp, his right hand was encased in a spikey white armored ball as well.

Ryuga's mouth opened in surprise again while watching from the side.

The Smash reached Build at this point and tried swinging at his foe. Every single time he did, Build would simply lift that one white arm and the spikes would grow long enough to hit the Smash in multiple spots, while remaining short around Builds own body parts. The size and length of the spikes fluctuated to contour to Kamen Rider Build's body, making it impossible for the beast to land a hit on him!

This performance of this bottle was truly living up to its 'hedgehog' name!

"Poke! Poke!...Poke! Poke! Poke!" Kamen Rider Build started narrating his own sound effects while swinging his spikey white fist at the Smash with a bunch of uppercuts. With each uppercut, the spikes would extend and deal tons of extra damage each time the rider connected!

This continued on for several minutes, the Smash was getting outclassed hard and was finally sent tumbling away again.

Build pulled out the red bottle again and shook it.

"And now the finishing touch." Build quipped while shaking the bottle. He plugged it back into the left slot on the Build Driver, then spun the Vortex Lever like crazy! 

"RABBITTANK!...YEAH!"

The Driver sounded out again as he changed back to his prior Blue and Red form, Build kept spinning the lever this time, as he did the Vortex Charger started to glow and hum wildly!

Build then held his hand's out towards the Smash as if he was gesturing for a favor.

"One sec please." Build pretended to ask the Smash to wait in a mocking tone. He then flipped both of his hands up and raised both index fingers, indicating further to the Smash to wait just a moment. 

Build then turned and started running the other way, He made it a certain distance away from the Smash before jumping up and then smashing down through the pavement with his blue 'tank' foot and disappearing from view! 

When he dropped into the ground, some of those same white energy constructs from earlier appeared again, locking the Smash into place where it was! Build had somehow brought a giant tangible, mathematical equation into reality with the power of the Driver and the particles, not to mention his own genius!

The other end of the equation construct locking the Smash into place had a high spot 20 feet in the air built from a vertical line, pointing down into where Build had vanished, at a lower axis it curved down to intersect into where the Smash was. 

There was a rumble and Build came rocketing out of the ground, straight upwards to the top of the construct!

"READY, GO!...VORTEX FINISH!...YEAH!" 

On the way down Build shifted slightly forward and started to make a kick towards the Smash, he landed on the curve that was headed towards the immobilized monster. 

As he slid down the white construct, he started to gain momentum until he was speeding towards the monster! His Blue boot connected with the Smash's head!

The Tank foot had tank treads for soles and they were able to rotate. Those treads released all that energy that he had been building with the Vortex Charger earlier! Red, white, and blue energies and sparks were sent flying into the Smashes face! 

"Hiiiii...YAAAAH!"

There was a massive explosion! Instead of red and orange, however, the explosion was green in color! It was the exact same green tone as the gas and liquid Sento and Ryuga had been subjected to as well!

Ryuga stood back, covering his face with his arms and hands to shield himself from the green explosion. He peeked past his hand and complimented the Kamen Rider. "Amazing..."

Build looked over at the remains of the Smash, still smoldering in green smoke and dying flames. He pulled out an empty bottle, spun the cap and pointed it at the no longer moving Smash.

The Green substance and many colorful particles were pulled towards the bottle and sealed away in it! A young man with many earrings and spikey hair, wearing a torn and bloodied hospital gown, was left laying on the road where the Smash had once been, moaning slightly.

While moaning, he flipped his head and Ryuga was instantly shocked! He knew this guy! It was one of the fellow test subjects he had seen laying on one of those hospital style beds!

Ryuga would never forget this guys face as long as he lived, he was certain it belonged to one of his fellow experiment victims! 

He had surprisingly recovered quite a bit since Kamen Rider Build had taken over the fight, and it was no problem for Ryuga to run over to the man he recognized. The man opened his eyes and coughed, he squinted at Ryuga, looking confused as hell.

"You saw those freaks with the gas masks too, right?!" He got down on one knee beside the man so he could look him in the eyes.

Build started paying attention as soon as Ryuga asked the question.

The man didn't respond how Ryuga was expecting. "What are you talking about? Who are you? Where am I?!"

Build tilted his head slightly. This is exactly how Soichi had found him.

Back then, he had been sitting propped up against a random wall in a random alley, getting soaked to the bone before waking up and seeing a man with a hat and glasses crouched, beside him, looking concerned. He held an umbrella over himself as he looked Sento over. 

Sento had no clue about anything, a total blank. He had also asked the man in front of him the 'who, what, where' set of questions.

"What is this place?" The man in the hospital gown asked Ryuga again, Ryuga wasn't having it though.

"Don't play dumb with me!"

Ryuga reached for the mans collar and pulled him closer, looking into his eyes before letting him go again. He started walking toward Build.

"This guy is just like me, those freaks did something to our bodies!"

He got within a foot of Build and put his hands on the Rider's shoulders, looking desperate now.

"You've gotta believe me man!"

Builds voice had no hint of mockery in it at all now.

"If what you say is true..." He envisioned the scene from his dream again, along with the bat armored man.

"...Those experiments were to turn people into Smash."

Both of them fell into thought for a moment until blaring sirens interrupted them.

Ryuga, still holding onto Build's shoulders, turned his head to look back at what was now bearing down on them. It was a squad of Guardians on bikes, they were escorting an armored SUV and headed right towards them!

The man with earrings in the hospital gown just wanted to leave whatever this situation was and the sirens spooked him. He immediately fled into some tall grass on the other side of the road and vanished right away!

The convoy came to a stop around fifty feet away from the remaining two. The rear left window of the SUV rolled down and none other than Gentoku Himuro who poked his head out!

"So, you're Kamen Rider...I've heard about you..."

Gentoku rolled his eyes and looked bored.

His assistant, Nariaki rushed over from the other side of the SUV to get the door for his boss. When Gentoku stepped out and didn't waste any time.

"Hand that scum murderer, Ryuga Banjo, over to us."

Ryuga took a few angry steps towards them and yelled. "I didn't kill anybody!"

Gentoku replied by clapping his hands and grinning. In response to the clapping, all the Guardians raised their weapons and trained them onto Ryuga, ready to fire if given the word from their boss.

Ryuga turned away from them and started talking to himself. 

"I might be an idiot, stupid as hell, and I might be an absolute piece of trash...But I would never do that...I would never..." He dropped to his knees, nearly shedding tears at this point. He punched the ground several times, scrapping his knuckles badly.

"...Why won't anyone believe me!?"

Build stood there looking at Ryuga and the slowly approaching Guardians, while deep in thought.

He finally moved and rolled his head around like he was stretching his neck. 

"Ugh...what a pain." Build crouched down until he was in the squatting position, his posture reminiscent of how an old man smoking like a gangster would look.

"This is terrible...I'm gonna regret this day for sure..." He fiddled with a certain yellow bottle and phone device then threw them away from himself towards the road. Ryuga was certain there was nothing else that could surprise him today.

He was wrong.

"BUILD CHANGE."

His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when the bike that had chased him down earlier appeared from thin air in front of him again!

The Rider headed right for his machine and hopped on. He patted the back of the seat while holding out a helmet towards Ryuga. "Get on."

Ryuga hesitated for a moment and Build repeated himself. "GET ON!"

Ryuga's face gained a look of determination and he sprang forward towards the Kamen Rider and his bike. At this point the Guardians were fairly close, a measly twenty feet away, while two of them were only ten feet away! Build tossed the helmet to Ryuga and the later jumped on the bike while plunking the helmet onto his bruised up head.

As soon as their target jumped onto the bike, the whole group of Guardians opened fire! The two closer ones tried to latch onto the two men trying to now escape! One fell short as Build took off and the other managed to grab hold of Ryuga's dirty t-shirt. 

"Urk...Get off!" Ryuga was being pulled backwards. "Move!" Build looked back and lightly pushed Ryuga out of the way, while giving the Guardian clinging to Ryuga a savage backhand! The Guardian flew backwards into his fellow troops, totally wrecking several at once!

"I want them brought in!" Gentoku issued a command to the human trooper in charge of this squad of Guardians. "Dead or alive, doesn't matter...Don't let them get away!"

The Guardians on bikes took off after Build and Ryuga, leaving only the human commanders, Gentoku and Nariaki behind. 

"Chancellor, if they die..." Nariaki started voicing his concerns.

Gentoku turned to his aid and yelled in his face!

"It doesn't matter! We don't need toys that break this easily!...go back with the others" With that he turned and started walking away.

Down the road, beside the Sky-Wall, more Guardians took aim at Build and Ryuga with automatic rifles and rocket launchers! Four of the Guardians launched their rockets at the pair. 

"You drive." Build activated the tank tread on his blue boot and held onto the rear of the bike as Ryuga took over the controls. "What are you doing?!" Ryuga screamed at him.

"Watch this." As the rockets closed in, Build swept his one free leg towards them! It became a red blur, catching all four of the rockets and re directing them back to where they came from! It required perfect timing and crazy speed!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! 

All of the Guardians that had been waiting for them had been taken out! Only five bikes remained in the chase so far too!

Build took back control and let one of the bikes catch up. Build locked the front brake and made his bike do a nose wheelie! He rotated on his front tire and clotheslined the Guardian, ripping its head off! Build took off again while Ryuga held on for dear life! As the rest opened fire again, Build raced off the road and towards a section of the Sky Wall that had scenic looking man made walking bridge built up alongside it, it rose one hundred feet into the air at least! 

"You're not going to..." Build was headed right towards an open gap near the top of the walking bridge that had just been boarded up and was waiting on repairs, it was open on the side facing the Sky Wall. With one last pull of the throttle he launched the bike right through the barricade, pulling the bars of the bike so that the tires made contact with the Sky Wall! 

All of the Guardians in pursuit also launched their machines through the air! These automatons were not afraid of heights, let alone dying!

Build activated the tank tread ability of his boot and made it several meters further than the Guardians could muster however, and all of them, including Build and Ryuga, started plummeting to the ground! 

"AAAGGGHHHH!"

Ryuga screamed and resisted the urge to pee his pants while falling from an unspeakable height for the second time today! 

With a gesture, Build took back the yellow bottle and the bike they were on turned into Sento's cell device. The Rider summoned the Drill Crusher, tucked Ryuga under his arm securely, and stabbed the drill blade into the wall, slowing their fall by a dramatic amount! 

In a few seconds, the bikes and Guardians had become nothing more than scrap pieces laying scattered on the ground, broken from the fall! Some had even burst into flame and exploded! Sento had personally made his phone and it was nearly indestructible! It was laying on the ground now as well, barely scuffed up at all! 

By the time the pair came to a complete stop, the Drill Crusher was buried to the hilt! Due to Sento's incredible mind and predictive abilities, Sento had chosen a near perfect moment to slow their decent. They hung a mere ten feet above the ground!

After dropping them both down and collecting his device, Sento deactivated his transformation and re activated the bike! They were on the road again, this time pursuit free! 

"Great, now I'm a fugitive too." Sento complained to his passenger.

Ryuga responded with a question. "Why did you save me?"

Sento thought about it for a few seconds as they flew down the road. A smile crept onto his face as he explained briefly. 

"Because I believed you. That's really it...Also...Real idiots don't call themselves idiots...I can tell you aren't a liar..."

Ryuga looked touched and he smiled. 

A funny little grin spread onto Sento's face and he started to tease Ryuga.

"...Your fly is down."

"Are you kidding me!..." Ryuga looked down and sure enough, it was wide open.

"...How long was it down?!" 

"For a while now, well, from the start really."

Ryuga had a look of shock and betrayal on his face now!

"You could have told me sooner!" 

Sento started to laugh and didn't even try to hide it. "I was busy, figure it out yourself next time, idiot."

"Idiot?!.." Ryuga's self righteous, victimized look deepened a bit. "...You just said I wasn't an idiot!"

He grabbed Sento's shoulders and started shaking them violently, causing Sento to swerve!

"Hey! Cut it out you idiot!"

"I said don't call me that!" 

As the bike carrying the two raced down the road, shaking from time to time as they squabbled, a lone figure stood at the top of the Sky Wall, watching them pass.

It was the man wearing the armored bat suit from Sento's dreams! 

The armored figure released smoke around itself while declaring, "The war has begun..." a second later, a gust of wind cleared all the smoke away. The man in the Bat armor was nowhere to be seen though. He was long gone before the smoke was.
